First comment, I learned Hungarian and lived in Hungary for a while, now I am out for a few months and I feel like I have forgotten everything, now I am watching your videos just to keep my Hungarian alive. I enjoy them so much!
The accusative case shows which word is the object in the sentence. The object can be freely anywhere in the sentence. If the object is the most important word in the sentence, then it is the first word, if it is the least important, then it is the last word. If the object is moderately important, then the middle word in the sentence.
Yes please to more tests! I did this one "cold" first (without watching the video), and got 16/20 (10/10 and 6/10 in the two halves). Then watched the video and tried again - 20/20 this time 🙂
Excellent. The next video could explain when to use the direct verb conjugation. This still trips me up. Obviously a = direct and egy = indirect but after that it gets messy!!! Like names, pronouns and question words etc are treated differently. Other problematic areas for me are 1. general word order 2. when to separate a verb prefix (questions, negatives and orders I understand but after that not so much) and 3. when to use and not use the meg verbal prefix.
DE! só - sót (salt) because sav - savat (acid) Só cannot be savat in the accutive case, because that word is already taken as the accusative case of sav = acid.
köszönöm a videót. elkezdtem tanulni ezt a nyvelvet egy pár hónap ezelőtt, és a te miatt, jobb lettem! kérlek, hogy nem allj meg. a legjobb magyar tanár a youtube'en vagy!

kő - követ (stone), követ - követet (emissary)
