There’s just something about the “older” forza’s that is so much better than the new ones. The map is a big one. Used to be a lot more packed with detail, lots of small hidden areas. All this faded out in 5 in my opinion. I remember the hype for this game, it was insane.
For one thing back in 2016 they were allowed to put real music in the games, and FH4 still had CHVRCHES. I still listen to a playlist of music found in FH3 and FH4 every day. FH5 radio is so boring I never even turn it on.
@@worthy7834 This might be a total hot take but I prefer the grind closer to what we had in FH3. Not exactly what we had in FH3, but right now in Horizon 5 I have hundreds of wheelspins unused and I don't dare start one because it's going to take at least an hour just to cycle through them all. Horizon 4/5 reward you SO much that rewards are actually 100% meaningless. Oppositely, the wheelspins mean something in Horizon 3, I always use them and I appreciate it as a reward. Should the wheelspin mechanism be done away with entirely? Probably, but if we're going to pretend to be gambling addicts then the gambling in Horizon 3 is way more fun.
FH3 was my first Forza game, as it was the first Horizon that was native to PC as well. I remember seeing the mass confusion on Reddit and the likes when the Hot Wheels expansion was announced... in hindsight, between that and being the festival boss really solidified the arcade-y "You have everything, do whatever you want" type of vibe the series has become known for. Really need to come back, watching this I realized I never touched Blizzard Mountain >.>
This is easily my favourite horizon game. I put hundreds of hours into it and still love it to this day. It just feels more alive and fun to play than the newer games.
Australia is just a beautiful location, just as Hawaii in Motorfest. FH3 is still online, guys. KEEP PLAYING IT, so they might postpone the server shutdown further into the future. I feel like FH3 will be shut down in 2025, but if we keep playing it at least every week or so and we're lucky, we can push it's end to 2026 or even 2027 🤝🏻💙

I started on fh3 in 2016 my parents got an Xbox just for this game and it was amazing I played it so much after school. Even tho there isn’t really any progression there was still festival upgrades to do which isn’t much but still better than what we got for progression and I even went back to fh2 and the progression was better in that game so we’ve gone backwards but I’m also Australian so this game is just amazing to us Aussies but the map is definitely better than the new ones and private lobby’s which will be missed
I happened to get myself a new physical copy of Forza Horizon 3 few months back, and man, each time I play this game makes me feel like I'm unlocking a nostalgia that I've never had before.
So glad to see this game still getting the recognition it deserves. I recently bought a disc copy after getting tired of FH4 and 5. I've found that there's really something special about this game, and I don't believe it's nostalgia. The atmosphere feels brighter and the world feels more authentic, I think. There are roads that I keep coming back to that I genuinely enjoy driving on, like the coastal roads or the canyon trail. Despite all of the additional content in FH5, it doesn't seem to mend the absence of an enjoyable world to explore. I also think that the color palette, along with the skybox and clouds are more appealing to the eye than in 4 or 5. The modern architecture of Surfer's Paradise is a breath of fresh air, and is beautifully integrated into the world as well
My favorite part of the online was meeting friends that I still play with to this day and the underwater glitch that let you drive underwater anywhere!! It was great!!
I got this game in 2018, and returned this year after a long hiatus, having NO idea that FH3 was two installments ago now. Having only done single-player roaming one it, I desperately want to find friends to play it with like Neptune1967 has!
FH3 was my first Horizon, and I love to play it until now, even more than FH5. The map is just beautiful, the music, the vibe. The Hot Wheels is imo so much better in FH3. It's just hard getting used to go back to a garage to change the car, but it's just a small thing. I have to check out the Blizzard Mountain, I just barely even touched it back then. The one issue I have is PC optimisation, I remember it was a pain running it on a lower end system back then, while FH4 was much easier to run.
FH3 was my not only my first Horizon game, but also my very first Forza game. And it will always be my favorite!! Horizon 3 just is the best Horizon game ever made!
FH3 was my first introduction to the Forza series. My nephew had it on his Xbox he had the Hot Wheels expansion. Now I own all five Forza games on disc. Three is my favorite and the hot wheels expansion was 100x better than the one we got in 5. Sadly I don't have the expansions for FH3.
Man this reminds me of a long time ago... I remember preordering this game before it came out in 2016, got the Ultimate Edition in store with the steel book, got the shirt that Horizon 3 that came with it later on tho... I remember being excited as hell when the day it came out finally happened. Four days before everyone else, a whole weekend with nothing planned or anything to do, I had it all to myself. Even got to use my parent's 4K TV for it, despite having the OG Xbox One at the time. Starting up the game, I didn't sleep until four in the morning the next day hahahah... it's weird to me now that it was all that long ago. I was 14 at that point when Hot Wheels came out and man, that hits different now. I remember helping a guy who was a UA-camr with some Forzathon themed videos where he did the challenges, he must've had a few thousand subscribers at that point, and he was a super chill dude. Really was. I actually followed him and was in every livestream because I became a fan. Got to play some online lobbies with him and man, that was awesome. I also loved being a Kiwi (born in New Zealand), who had been raised his whole life in Australia, because I could tell people in America, Canada, Europe, even Russia at one point, that the map was incredibly accurate. Like it had every theme of Australia as areas, and that really made it special. Also went through a few gamertags during then.... thunderbailz, T4ND3MTHUND3R, DeadRexGaming, SIL3NTxK1LL, x98OCT4N3V8x and then more recently, AYEEExUNCLE. Times change quickly man.
6:25 FH3 was the goat, I still remember when the Blizzard Mountain expansion dropped. My first Horizon game was the first Horizon in summer of 2013! Been hooked on racing games since. Stuff like the original Motorsport, Gran Turismo, and Need For Speed back in the day just never did it for me. Horizon really got me into that genre of games.
This is the game that reawakened my once dormant love for Hot Wheels! When the Hot Wheels DLC came out in May of 2017, a great deal of my Hot Wheels cars were accurately recreated in FH3. Examples include the following: 1. Johnny Lightning 1970 AMC Rebel Machine. 2. Hot Wheels '69 Corvette (Recreated using in-game 1970 Corvette). 3. Hot Wheels '63 Corvette (Recreated using in-game 1967 Corvette). 4. Hot Wheels '66 Chevy Nova. 5. Hot Wheels Chevy Stocker (Recreated using in-game 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS). 6. Matchbox Mazda RX-7. 7. 1970 Plymouth Superbird (Recreated using in-game 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. 8. Hot Wheels Twin Mill. 9. Matchbox 1930s Model A Ford (Recreated using in-game 1932 Ford Deluxe). 10. Hot Wheels '71 AMC Javelin AMX. OMG, 8 Years!!! Love the nostalgia!!
I played FH3 on launch, put it down, came back to it a few years later, put it down, and I'm coming back again right now. This time, I'm going to finish what I started and get the last few remaining achievements (which are all the grindy ones lol)
FH3 was my very first xbox game after i got xbox one s included hot wheels expansion bundle on my birthday on Nov 29th at age 18 and gift came in Dec 2nd 2017, this game is gives me the best experience with very first achievements, almost 7 years and never gets bored and enjoying myself everytime i revisiting my beloved game, FH3 is my far most favorite game in my life, it gives me a good old days :')
Hey Stevio2175 and everyone, I got Forza Horizon 3 it was my first real car game I played on my Xbox One Console Standard Version 500GB I love the game and I miss the Game. I like and listen to the soundtrack a lot when I play when Racing with races and I like the cars too and game play. I got my Xbox One Standard Version 2017 for Christmas. I play my other games in 2018-2019. August or September or December Fall or winter 2019 before the game ended a year later I got it at GameStop and it was not a newer version, it was a used version. I subscribed and turned on Notifications and been watching Stevio2175 since 2018-2019.

It was and is still my favourite because of the music, the levelling progression, the online options and the setting. The physics in the newer FH's is noticably improved but its not enough to take the crown from FH3 imo.
FH3 was my first forza game but i think i had it like a few months before FH4 came out and oh man ive played fh5 for hours and hours but i just got fh3 again on the xbox series X and played it for like maybe 30mins because i didnt have time.. those 30 minutes were more fun than my 'hours and hours' of playing FH5
I remember not going to school the day it came out and meeting a guy I used to go on and play with for a while after that day felt just like yesterday can’t believe it’s been a long 8 years
I only played FH3 with online players one time, I was a single player guy for the rest of the time, and let me tell you that I enjoyed it more than FH4 and FH5 online. Interacting with drivatars was easily one of my favorite things to do. Recruiting random people into your festival and trying to get the best players was just fun. I still remember the gamertag of the first guy I added, and he always stayed because he had the best stats. I also remember the car meet by the airport. I spent HOURS just revving cars and looking around. I remember getting my first Horizon edition gtr, and it took me the full 2 years I played. I also spent all my time saving up for the Centanario and the Veyron, because when I got money I’d just spend it immediately. I haven’t had to save up for a car for Forza in forever. My FH5 account has 90 mil and I have all the cars, it’s just boring. FH3, even without online for me, was and is the best Forza game ever.

Back in 2017 I got my first Xbox, the original Xbox One my sister bought me. FH3 Was my very first game I ever played. I loved it and still love it alot. Sadly the disc got scratched and I can't recover it. But the memories are unforgettable.
Horizon 3 actually works pretty well on PC now, 4K120fps with 8xMSAA is pretty easily managed by any mid-range PC. Agreed, Horizon 3 is still the best in the series, both the location and the music were never matched by future games.
Seeing this brings back so many memories. Oh my word. 😔 I want to grind blizzard mountain again. I’d do anything to be able to go back, and grind blizzard mountain again, get the RS RX, and play infected, and other blizzard mountain races till 3 in the morning with random people like I did when I was a kid.
I remember playing FH3 on a school field trip and was just blown away by how amazing the graphics and map for a next gen game at the time, I regret rejecting the Xbox one my parents got me for my birthday in 2017
Loved this game so much. I won so many of the unicorn cars on wheelspins. And then A9X Torana dropped. Heaven. And the soundtrack. And finally just cruising and drifting around the Goldcoast with a group of friends. Played this right up to the day FH4 was released.
Blizzard Mountain was so much fun. It's one of those times in life where I wished I had friends that cared about arcade style racers so I could show them all of the cool stuff that was in that expansion.
After I use FH4 in the pandemic time - I bought also FH3 and FH2. FH3 because of a new map experience and I also like to see the spots I visit @ my vacation in 1999 there :D But I was some month to late to buy the expansions. I only got an car pass at this time. I own xbox and pc, so I have the possibility to use FH2. FH2 I was interested in to see the Europa map because I am from Germany :)
Just searched up videos like this as I started playing FH3 again this morning. The fps is a drag but it's still such a good game. Crazy I didn't get as far in as I thought but it basically means I have a whole new game to play!
We need to convince the devs to give you a way to get the expansions.!!!! I would pay so much money to get all of the cars and expansions that I now can’t get to work

i remember getting the xbox one s forza horizon 3 hot wheels bundle back then on christmas and the blizzard mountain dlc a year later. possibly one of the best games i can remember.
I started with FH1 back on the xbox 360. I've played all of them but FH1 will always be my favourite because of the story. FH3 is close second with it being the first one where the open world feeling was brought out. You didn't just have to stick to the road or dirt tracks but you could also go into the forrest and explore the map in more detail.
My experience with driving games before learning about the Forza Horizon saga was only limited to Gran Turismo 4 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted from 2005. In 2017 I was able to acquire an XBOX One Elite and thanks to LaMey's channel I saw his video of " FAIL Compilation" made me curious about this game and I had never experienced anything like it playing a car game, the more or less demanding experience of Gran Turismo and the freedom of Need for Speed in the same game, it was incredible how much I enjoyed it Along with its great soundtrack, especially Ladyhawke and Chvrches, especially the first one with its song "The River", it fit so well in Australia... Also its champions, some very fun like Ferrari vs Lamborghini. etc... that I miss from Forza Horizon 4 onwards, going from 63 championships or the 168 of Forza Horizon 2 (I did them all since once I finished 3 I went to 2 and it was incredible again by the way) feels a step backwards in my opinion since the playlist has very few and on top of that TEMPORARY is a tremendous mistake, it can take 10 years for the 63 championships of 3 to continue, there are no 4 and 5...
This was the first game I ever played on any xbox. Yes, never had the 360. I miss this game so much. Personally I think it’s really annoying that if you have played FH on the same account you’re using you basically get handed a bunch of s2 cars and the cover car of the game. Where’s the reward there. This was one of the only Forza games where I actually cared about the storyline.
FH3 is my favourite game ever. Got it Christmas 2016 and i didn't play anything else for over 6 months 😅. My only regret is that i didn't get all the add ons like you get in the ultimate edition, I want them so badly but I know it's impossible

My first fh game was 4, although i bought it when 5 was already released (yes im a newgen i know) and i bought 3 game key 2 days ago, one think i love about 3 after just 3 hours of playtime is that i only have 3 cars, in fh5 i had around a 100 cars after 5h of playtime, the slower progression is great, also the map is so much better than map in 5 and better than the map in 4, although one think i dont like about the map is that the highway feels so boring and repetitive compared to 4 and 2 (i dont have 2 but saw footages), im also very lucky to have both of the expansions, and i deeply reccomend to get the game while you can, as its a rare gemstone of the game industry that wont be available for much longer
FH3 is my favourite Horizon. I've completed less races, am a lower level and have less money in this game compared to 4 and 5, yet my play time is way higher. Cruising and driving around is so much more fun in FH3 and the map just feels that much more alive and exciting. Its also crazy to me that there are aspects and features in FH3, which are better or completely missing in 4 and 5.

This was the only forza game I actually gave a damn about and grinded the absolute hell out of. Got most of the unicorn cars, forzathon cars, dlc, mission completion and maxing our my rank to a plat star. I still play this from time to time with some mods of course to spice up this already perfect forza experience.
FH3 was the first Horizon game I played after getting Forza Motorsport 6 with my Xbox One S. It’s the reason why I got FH4 and 5. If they remastered FH3 with the only change being all the new upgrades from fh4 and 5 I’d buy it without a second thought. My friend and I still play FH3 sometimes and it’s a blast even after all these years.
@@stevio2175 Now that I’m on PC I can confirm that 60 FPS on horizon 3 is awesome. I’m having to run VSync due to an issue with my monitor otherwise I could easily do 165 fps
FH3 was my first and boy i miss playing it. imo i feel the landscaping was better in FH4 but the overall map e.g. the cities, beaches, roads were much better in FH3. It js felt amazing to play and i cant remember a single time i got bored of it

First for me was FH5, then FH4. A week ago I managed to get a new copy of FH3. Its my favourite now :) live the mep, the roads, lots of more cars on the road, the ciry etc. just a fun and great game :) hope they dont shut this one down.
I remember the first time I experience a FH game well, back in 2020 of march my little brother bought Forza horizon 2 on the 360 and I loved horizon 2 so much then later that year when I get an Xbox one s it came with horizon 3 I loved both them so much and their experiences
My first forza game was forza Motorsport 4 and forza horizon 1 that my brother bought with a 360. They are absolutely amazing games that where ahead of their time but forza horizon 3 was on another level when it released in 2016. It was my first game that i bought with my brother we basicly split 50/50 for it.
Unfortunately, PC servers are broken, they search endlessly for a lobby of any type. However, there is a workaround - a player on Xbox can invite you to his own lobby. I bought FH3 when it was on its End of Life sale and unfortunately did not get into multiplayer before it shut down. I had two favorite parts of FH3 that I don't think the other games quite match up to - the map and the progression system. The map was amazing and diverse, and though I think Britain had more character, the feel of a summer car festival in such a banger location was amazing. The progression system was satisfying, unlike in FH4 where it's fairly quick and FH5 where they give you everything you could ever want the second you get there. I wish I could say more, but the vibe of that game was just indescribable.
A lot of people always say that older Forza Horizon games are better. I think the whole series is great! Every Horizon game brings something different! I enjoy FH 1 through 5 and each one of them brings a different feel and experience!
Started with 360 version of FH2. Tried all remaining titles as well later. And I gotta say that FH1-3 had so much better vibe in comparison to 4 and 5. It was so much more chill back then. 1 to 3 had the true music festival celebrating the automotive community vibe while 4 and 5 feels to me like a multimillionaire world tour with music festivals.
Best FH game I’ve played. I’ve got a series S and regret it immensely. Drifting was great and it just felt amazing. They need to take a step back and make it more simple like FH3. Always wanted to know how people got the sesto elemento but never found out.
Fh1 was my first,fh2 my second,and fh3 my third,obviously 4 and 5 my forth and fifth. Something about fh3 brings me back though,despite so much nostalgia on fh1 and fh2 and amazing moments there,fh3 is probably my favorite horizon game along with the first 2. It has an amazing map,cars,balance,scenery,sounds,showcases,especially the soundtrack. I get really nostalgic when I hear the soundtracks on there,and the wild life and Tied to you are some of my favorites and I was geeking when it played during the 10th anniversary and love that we get older Forza horizon soundtracks in the mixtape section in fh5. I lately got some older titles Like a still closed FH2 Disc (Sadly not Day One) And on a used FH3 Ultimate. I still had the chance to get a digital Code for FH3 and the Pre Order Audi. I will sooner or later try to play at least all what is possible. I can confirm getting the Car packs and DLC's is basically impossible only a few exists (and if so you pay a ton for it) Fh3 is now at least digital means i can play it on PC but for FH2 i use a One X and its amazing. Horizon was different back then thats clear.
The original Forza Motorsport was my first Forza game, but I never got another Xbox after the original. So Forza Horizon 3, being the first on PC, was my first since then. I miss FH3 Hot Wheels and Blizzard Mountain for how wholly unique and borderline experimental they were from the base game -- all the more reason to continue going back to them. Whereas Fortune Island, LEGO, Rally Adventure just felt like generic map expansions in comparison.
I used to have FH3 on Disk but my Brother tryed to put it in the X-Box when he had sticky hands and now the Disk wont work and I cant find another Disk at any shops. It made me really sad because I live in Australia and FH3 was one of the Most Popular Games that were Based in Australia. What made it even worse is that I had only had the game for 2 Months and I had got it for my birthday. I had only got to level 10 so I never got the full experience.

My favorite part of the online was meeting friends that I still play with to this day and the underwater glitch that let you drive underwater anywhere!! It was great!!

I got this game in 2018, and returned this year after a long hiatus, having NO idea that FH3 was two installments ago now. Having only done single-player roaming one it, I desperately want to find friends to play it with like Neptune1967 has!

FH3 was my first Horizon, and I love to play it until now, even more than FH5. The map is just beautiful, the music, the vibe. The Hot Wheels is imo so much better in FH3. It's just hard getting used to go back to a garage to change the car, but it's just a small thing. I have to check out the Blizzard Mountain, I just barely even touched it back then. The one issue I have is PC optimisation, I remember it was a pain running it on a lower end system back then, while FH4 was much easier to run.
Forza used to only be intended for Xbox console, it's nice there is even an option for PC players now
FH3 was my not only my first Horizon game, but also my very first Forza game. And it will always be my favorite!! Horizon 3 just is the best Horizon game ever made!

FH3 was my first introduction to the Forza series. My nephew had it on his Xbox he had the Hot Wheels expansion. Now I own all five Forza games on disc. Three is my favorite and the hot wheels expansion was 100x better than the one we got in 5. Sadly I don't have the expansions for FH3.

Man this reminds me of a long time ago... I remember preordering this game before it came out in 2016, got the Ultimate Edition in store with the steel book, got the shirt that Horizon 3 that came with it later on tho... I remember being excited as hell when the day it came out finally happened. Four days before everyone else, a whole weekend with nothing planned or anything to do, I had it all to myself. Even got to use my parent's 4K TV for it, despite having the OG Xbox One at the time. Starting up the game, I didn't sleep until four in the morning the next day hahahah... it's weird to me now that it was all that long ago. I was 14 at that point when Hot Wheels came out and man, that hits different now. I remember helping a guy who was a UA-camr with some Forzathon themed videos where he did the challenges, he must've had a few thousand subscribers at that point, and he was a super chill dude. Really was. I actually followed him and was in every livestream because I became a fan. Got to play some online lobbies with him and man, that was awesome. I also loved being a Kiwi (born in New Zealand), who had been raised his whole life in Australia, because I could tell people in America, Canada, Europe, even Russia at one point, that the map was incredibly accurate. Like it had every theme of Australia as areas, and that really made it special. Also went through a few gamertags during then.... thunderbailz, T4ND3MTHUND3R, DeadRexGaming, SIL3NTxK1LL, x98OCT4N3V8x and then more recently, AYEEExUNCLE. Times change quickly man.
6:25 FH3 was the goat, I still remember when the Blizzard Mountain expansion dropped. My first Horizon game was the first Horizon in summer of 2013! Been hooked on racing games since. Stuff like the original Motorsport, Gran Turismo, and Need For Speed back in the day just never did it for me. Horizon really got me into that genre of games.

This is the game that reawakened my once dormant love for Hot Wheels! When the Hot Wheels DLC came out in May of 2017, a great deal of my Hot Wheels cars were accurately recreated in FH3. Examples include the following:
1. Johnny Lightning 1970 AMC Rebel Machine.
2. Hot Wheels '69 Corvette (Recreated using in-game 1970 Corvette).
3. Hot Wheels '63 Corvette (Recreated using in-game 1967 Corvette).
4. Hot Wheels '66 Chevy Nova.
5. Hot Wheels Chevy Stocker (Recreated using in-game 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS).
6. Matchbox Mazda RX-7.
7. 1970 Plymouth Superbird (Recreated using in-game 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona.

I played FH3 on launch, put it down, came back to it a few years later, put it down, and I'm coming back again right now. This time, I'm going to finish what I started and get the last few remaining achievements (which are all the grindy ones lol)
FH3 was my very first xbox game after i got xbox one s included hot wheels expansion bundle on my birthday on Nov 29th at age 18 and gift came in Dec 2nd 2017,
this game is gives me the best experience with very first achievements, almost 7 years and never gets bored and enjoying myself everytime i revisiting my beloved game,
FH3 is my far most favorite game in my life, it gives me a good old days :')

Hey Stevio2175 and everyone, I got Forza Horizon 3 it was my first real car game I played on my Xbox One Console Standard Version 500GB I love the game and I miss the Game. I like and listen to the soundtrack a lot when I play when Racing with races and I like the cars too and game play. I got my Xbox One Standard Version 2017 for Christmas. I play my other games in 2018-2019. August or September or December Fall or winter 2019 before the game ended a year later I got it at GameStop and it was not a newer version, it was a used version. I subscribed and turned on Notifications and been watching Stevio2175 since 2018-2019.

It was and is still my favourite because of the music, the levelling progression, the online options and the setting. The physics in the newer FH's is noticably improved but its not enough to take the crown from FH3 imo.
FH3 was my first forza game but i think i had it like a few months before FH4 came out and oh man ive played fh5 for hours and hours but i just got fh3 again on the xbox series X and played it for like maybe 30mins because i didnt have time.. those 30 minutes were more fun than my 'hours and hours' of playing FH5

I remember not going to school the day it came out and meeting a guy I used to go on and play with for a while after that day felt just like yesterday can’t believe it’s been a long 8 years
I only played FH3 with online players one time, I was a single player guy for the rest of the time, and let me tell you that I enjoyed it more than FH4 and FH5 online. Interacting with drivatars was easily one of my favorite things to do. Recruiting random people into your festival and trying to get the best players was just fun. I still remember the gamertag of the first guy I added, and he always stayed because he had the best stats.
I also remember the car meet by the airport. I spent HOURS just revving cars and looking around.
I remember getting my first Horizon edition gtr, and it took me the full 2 years I played. I also spent all my time saving up for the Centanario and the Veyron, because when I got money I’d just spend it immediately. I haven’t had to save up for a car for Forza in forever. My FH5 account has 90 mil and I have all the cars, it’s just boring.
FH3, even without online for me, was and is the best Forza game ever.
I wish I had the DLCs for FH3, never got em unfortunately. This is by far my favorite FH game.

Back in 2017 I got my first Xbox, the original Xbox One my sister bought me. FH3 Was my very first game I ever played. I loved it and still love it alot. Sadly the disc got scratched and I can't recover it. But the memories are unforgettable.
I started playing Forza horizon when it first came out, it was the game that got me back into car games. The sound track was spectacular.

Horizon 3 actually works pretty well on PC now, 4K120fps with 8xMSAA is pretty easily managed by any mid-range PC.
Agreed, Horizon 3 is still the best in the series, both the location and the music were never matched by future games.

I’d do anything to be able to go back, and grind blizzard mountain again, get the RS RX, and play infected, and other blizzard mountain races till 3 in the morning with random people like I did when I was a kid.

Loved this game so much. I won so many of the unicorn cars on wheelspins. And then A9X Torana dropped. Heaven. And the soundtrack. And finally just cruising and drifting around the Goldcoast with a group of friends. Played this right up to the day FH4 was released.
Blizzard Mountain was so much fun. It's one of those times in life where I wished I had friends that cared about arcade style racers so I could show them all of the cool stuff that was in that expansion.
FH2 was my first surprisingly on the XBOX 360, along with motorsport 2 I believe, I still play 4 and 5 of the Horizon series almost every day lol
So, if you own the DLC, it'll work, but you can't buy any...what about the car packs? If you own certain cars, do you have access to them, or no?
Also, if you find a Deluxe or Gold, with a code...would the code work? (Would you receive the DLC? OR would it be locked...?)

After I use FH4 in the pandemic time - I bought also FH3 and FH2. FH3 because of a new map experience and I also like to see the spots I visit @ my vacation in 1999 there :D But I was some month to late to buy the expansions. I only got an car pass at this time. I own xbox and pc, so I have the possibility to use FH2. FH2 I was interested in to see the Europa map because I am from Germany :)

i remember getting the xbox one s forza horizon 3 hot wheels bundle back then on christmas and the blizzard mountain dlc a year later. possibly one of the best games i can remember.
I started with FH1 back on the xbox 360. I've played all of them but FH1 will always be my favourite because of the story. FH3 is close second with it being the first one where the open world feeling was brought out. You didn't just have to stick to the road or dirt tracks but you could also go into the forrest and explore the map in more detail.
ive played every forza game and the old ones dont compare to the newer ones the nostalgia beats new games anyday for me

My experience with driving games before learning about the Forza Horizon saga was only limited to Gran Turismo 4 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted from 2005. In 2017 I was able to acquire an XBOX One Elite and thanks to LaMey's channel I saw his video of " FAIL Compilation" made me curious about this game and I had never experienced anything like it playing a car game, the more or less demanding experience of Gran Turismo and the freedom of Need for Speed in the same game, it was incredible how much I enjoyed it Along with its great soundtrack, especially Ladyhawke and Chvrches, especially the first one with its song "The River", it fit so well in Australia...
Also its champions, some very fun like Ferrari vs Lamborghini. etc... that I miss from Forza Horizon 4 onwards, going from 63 championships or the 168 of Forza Horizon 2 (I did them all since once I finished 3 I went to 2 and it was incredible again by the way) feels a step backwards in my opinion since the playlist has very few and on top of that TEMPORARY is a tremendous mistake, it can take 10 years for the 63 championships of 3 to continue, there are no 4 and 5...
Most Wanted was great too.. I though championships was a bit repetitive in FH2

This was the first game I ever played on any xbox. Yes, never had the 360. I miss this game so much. Personally I think it’s really annoying that if you have played FH on the same account you’re using you basically get handed a bunch of s2 cars and the cover car of the game. Where’s the reward there. This was one of the only Forza games where I actually cared about the storyline.
FH3 is my favourite game ever. Got it Christmas 2016 and i didn't play anything else for over 6 months 😅. My only regret is that i didn't get all the add ons like you get in the ultimate edition, I want them so badly but I know it's impossible
I still got my horizon 3 and haven't played it for years was thinking about doing a trade at GameStop but hold up some thing told me to check up on UA-cam of this game and the fact is i almost made the biggest mistake of my Life i did not know they did listed it and i was like o hell naw im not selling my forza horizon 3 in that case wow thank God i look it up in 2024 cant race on hot wheels but its cool i still to this day enjoy it thats why i reinstalled it once again when i heard the bad news of cant getting it ever again its never for ever leaving my life now because of that thanks UA-cam channels for looking out yall the best

Horizon 3 was my first Horizon because it was the first Horizon that was launched on PC. Bought digital version.
My first fh game was 4, although i bought it when 5 was already released (yes im a newgen i know) and i bought 3 game key 2 days ago, one think i love about 3 after just 3 hours of playtime is that i only have 3 cars, in fh5 i had around a 100 cars after 5h of playtime, the slower progression is great, also the map is so much better than map in 5 and better than the map in 4, although one think i dont like about the map is that the highway feels so boring and repetitive compared to 4 and 2 (i dont have 2 but saw footages), im also very lucky to have both of the expansions, and i deeply reccomend to get the game while you can, as its a rare gemstone of the game industry that wont be available for much longer
the car sounds, the gold coast city, the forest, the outback, a drag/airstrip, best forza game
FH3 is my favourite Horizon. I've completed less races, am a lower level and have less money in this game compared to 4 and 5, yet my play time is way higher. Cruising and driving around is so much more fun in FH3 and the map just feels that much more alive and exciting. Its also crazy to me that there are aspects and features in FH3, which are better or completely missing in 4 and 5.
they need to bring back the sparks and stuff from fh3 feel and look so mucn better than they do in fh5 (i think)

This was the only forza game I actually gave a damn about and grinded the absolute hell out of. Got most of the unicorn cars, forzathon cars, dlc, mission completion and maxing our my rank to a plat star. I still play this from time to time with some mods of course to spice up this already perfect forza experience.
FH3 was the first Horizon game I played after getting Forza Motorsport 6 with my Xbox One S. It’s the reason why I got FH4 and 5. If they remastered FH3 with the only change being all the new upgrades from fh4 and 5 I’d buy it without a second thought. My friend and I still play FH3 sometimes and it’s a blast even after all these years.

@@stevio2175 Now that I’m on PC I can confirm that 60 FPS on horizon 3 is awesome. I’m having to run VSync due to an issue with my monitor otherwise I could easily do 165 fps
FH3 was my first and boy i miss playing it. imo i feel the landscaping was better in FH4 but the overall map e.g. the cities, beaches, roads were much better in FH3. It js felt amazing to play and i cant remember a single time i got bored of it

Also just to clarify blizzard mountain was the first expansion in this game, Hotwheels didn’t come out til around 5 months after it..

First for me was FH5, then FH4. A week ago I managed to get a new copy of FH3. Its my favourite now :) live the mep, the roads, lots of more cars on the road, the ciry etc. just a fun and great game :) hope they dont shut this one down.
I remember the first time I experience a FH game well, back in 2020 of march my little brother bought Forza horizon 2 on the 360 and I loved horizon 2 so much then later that year when I get an Xbox one s it came with horizon 3 I loved both them so much and their experiences
My first forza game was forza Motorsport 4 and forza horizon 1 that my brother bought with a 360. They are absolutely amazing games that where ahead of their time but forza horizon 3 was on another level when it released in 2016. It was my first game that i bought with my brother we basicly split 50/50 for it.
Unfortunately, PC servers are broken, they search endlessly for a lobby of any type. However, there is a workaround - a player on Xbox can invite you to his own lobby. I bought FH3 when it was on its End of Life sale and unfortunately did not get into multiplayer before it shut down.
I had two favorite parts of FH3 that I don't think the other games quite match up to - the map and the progression system. The map was amazing and diverse, and though I think Britain had more character, the feel of a summer car festival in such a banger location was amazing. The progression system was satisfying, unlike in FH4 where it's fairly quick and FH5 where they give you everything you could ever want the second you get there. I wish I could say more, but the vibe of that game was just indescribable.
Forza horizon 3 is my first forza and I can’t stop playing it. The map is really good and I started playing in 2021. Best horizon in my opinion

A lot of people always say that older Forza Horizon games are better. I think the whole series is great! Every Horizon game brings something different! I enjoy FH 1 through 5 and each one of them brings a different feel and experience!

Started with 360 version of FH2. Tried all remaining titles as well later.
And I gotta say that FH1-3 had so much better vibe in comparison to 4 and 5. It was so much more chill back then. 1 to 3 had the true music festival celebrating the automotive community vibe while 4 and 5 feels to me like a multimillionaire world tour with music festivals.

Best FH game I’ve played. I’ve got a series S and regret it immensely. Drifting was great and it just felt amazing. They need to take a step back and make it more simple like FH3. Always wanted to know how people got the sesto elemento but never found out.
Fh1 was my first,fh2 my second,and fh3 my third,obviously 4 and 5 my forth and fifth. Something about fh3 brings me back though,despite so much nostalgia on fh1 and fh2 and amazing moments there,fh3 is probably my favorite horizon game along with the first 2. It has an amazing map,cars,balance,scenery,sounds,showcases,especially the soundtrack. I get really nostalgic when I hear the soundtracks on there,and the wild life and Tied to you are some of my favorites and I was geeking when it played during the 10th anniversary and love that we get older Forza horizon soundtracks in the mixtape section in fh5. Just an amazing experience all around. Sorry if I went on to long lol

I can confirm getting the Car packs and DLC's is basically impossible only a few exists (and if so you pay a ton for it)
Fh3 is now at least digital means i can play it on PC but for FH2 i use a One X and its amazing. Horizon was different back then thats clear.

The original Forza Motorsport was my first Forza game, but I never got another Xbox after the original. So Forza Horizon 3, being the first on PC, was my first since then. I miss FH3 Hot Wheels and Blizzard Mountain for how wholly unique and borderline experimental they were from the base game -- all the more reason to continue going back to them. Whereas Fortune Island, LEGO, Rally Adventure just felt like generic map expansions in comparison.

I used to have FH3 on Disk but my Brother tryed to put it in the X-Box when he had sticky hands and now the Disk wont work and I cant find another Disk at any shops. It made me really sad because I live in Australia and FH3 was one of the Most Popular Games that were Based in Australia. What made it even worse is that I had only had the game for 2 Months and I had got it for my birthday. I had only got to level 10 so I never got the full experience.
