Shame WB never released a complete series DVD set for these shorts as well as not releasing all of them on Max due to Zaslav’s dumb decisions. Oh well, at least Internet Archive has all of them.

The fact every episode would switch back and forth to being technicolor to black and white until 7:25 finally stayed with episodes in color. I guess they were saving money or something before they made more episodes with color
Leon Schlesinger, the executive producer for Warner Bros. cartoons from 1930 to 1944, was a notoriously stingy guy whose first priority was keeping budgets as low as possible. But he also knew that color cartoons were a huge draw for audiences. So under his watch, the Merrie Melodies became the "prestige" series with a slightly higher budget that permitted color film, while the Looney Tunes were the cheaper black-and-white series that could be cranked out faster and less expensively. Looney Tunes became an intermittent color series in 1942, and went full color in 1944. Thereafter, there was effectively no difference between the two series.
Great work! I love this one way better than the other "one second from every lt/mm" that someone uploaded a few years ago. I like how you included both the theatrical and director's cut of 'Hare Ribbon' haha. I see that you have the archive that was deleted that has the best quality possible. Is it possible if you could send 2 shorts to me that I've been trying to track down?
5:02 is the greatest cut ever
Just so you know, Red Headed Baby has been restored as an extra for the Cimarron Blu-Ray.

This is the greatest thing on the internet
The '40s and '50s were great decades for "Looney Tunes". The early '60s has some bangers, too (Now Hear This).
Late 30s too.
I especially have a craving for (mostly) the 1940s and some 1950s MM/LT cartoons.
The greatest seven or eight minutes on the Internet. Still pretty good for awhile after that. The lack of care in the last few minutes is depressing.
14:38 Must be a bad case of heartburn

Same concept, yes, but very different clips/execution. I love them both!
