$55 is not cheap here in India😂 its almost like a flagship for that kind of product.. and $55 smartwatch will get the same job done like those $100+ smartwatches.
See these amazefit, noise, and bout smart watches are the most selling smartwatches in India. And the next big seller is duplicate Apple Watches for 10-30 dollars. People here don’t actually care about workouts and health statistics precision. They only cares about being able to put their moms photo on their watch face and things. It’s a different market.
About 6 or 7 years ago I bought some cheapie Android based smart watches that looked like my Samsung one. They worked well. They tracked steps the same, they did notifications the same, the UI was more button based than touch based, and it didn't look as polished for graphics but it did the job. It had a space for a SIM card, which my Samsung one it was mimicking didn't. I found that a decade or more ago with an iPad knock off. I had more functions on the knock-off than I did on the original, and I could buy like 8 knock-offs for the cost of a real iPod at the time.
Amazfit is not by Amazon. It's a band in disguise of smart watch. They have really good build quality and amoled screens however the OS is not that advance . It can make calls , show msgs , track steps pretty accurately and that's about it.
I have a cheap smartwatch i liked it for a bit but it took a little while for things to start breaking and stopped using it after a little over a year since the raise to show clock functionality stopped working 😢
Presumably there's an SOC that does some basic "smartwatch" things (like give you 100 faces and 100 workouts), and the difference in price is the quality of the case and band, and how many get junked rather than going out the factory door with defects. But if it won't run Wear, will it have any apps? That is, be a real smart watch?
I've recently been testing cheap Amazon smart watches, and what I can say is that under $60, price rarely indicates performance or features. From $30+, most of the watches use the same 2 0r 3 no name OSs with minor tweaks and customizations, they rarely understand intuitive controls, and they vary in screen quality and responsiveness. Where some have great screens but feel laggy, others have poor screens but the menus feel a bit more responsive. There is one that I found with an OLED screen and always on, and the software, while identical to many others, is quick and responsive. But it has the cheapest looking and feeling body of all tthe watches I've tried so far. That said, if you want a fitness tracker, there are a lot of options to fit one's style and expectations, just none that I've found under $60 checking all the boxes I want.
The name should have been something

I've been wearing Apple Watches every day for years now, and I love them, but the Pebble was my first smartwatch and still in many ways my favorite, so I'm very curious to check this out, even if I only use it as a back-up watch.
It might just be a loose definition of smart watch. It might just be a activity tracker band disguised as a smart watch
I buy basically everything used. I got my smartwatch (the original Huawei Watch) for 30€, and it does everything I need from a smartwatch, shows time, notifications, media controls, fitness tracking, has amoled screen with AOD, runs WearOS etc.
Smart Watch which is basically smart band
I have one these Amazon smart watch and it does the job for me. I just use it for notifications and track my running. I use to have Apple's Watch when I was using an iPhone but I never used it beyond the same basic notification and running features. I think if you don't need the extra watch features then save yourself $200.
which Casio David has?
I have a smart watch from temu. Thought I'd see what they're like. I'm almost certain that it has a fake heart rate monitor on it.
$55 is not cheap here in India😂 its almost like a flagship for that kind of product.. and $55 smartwatch will get the same job done like those $100+ smartwatches.
forget cmf, can someone please drop any links to that guy's casio?
What the hell is going on at 1:26, is Marques a mind flayer or something ?
Now the way is to wait for the video in which Carl Pei watches this video to explain everything.
Providing LTE support with slightly Higher budget range would be considerable than just normal features with 55$
About 6 or 7 years ago I bought some cheapie Android based smart watches that looked like my Samsung one.
The reason they are doing this is not clear.
Amazfit is not by Amazon.
It's a band in disguise of smart watch. They have really good build quality and amoled screens however the OS is not that advance .
It can make calls , show msgs , track steps pretty accurately and that's about it.
what model casio watch is that guy wearing?
They found out that the average person doesn't buy Apple Watches but cheap alternatives that (claim to) do the job 🤯
Here , in India 4500Rs is also costlier.
I have a cheap smartwatch i liked it for a bit but it took a little while for things to start breaking and stopped using it after a little over a year since the raise to show clock functionality stopped working 😢
Pegatron! Definitely one of the Decepticons.
Can someone please tell the watch brand the guy in orange shirt is wearing it looks awesome. 0:32
What is the name of those Casio watches at 1:55 min. They look lovely but I can't find them.
AE-1200
2:17 how many times do I have to say that design alone is merely arguably one of the most minor aspects of a new product?
The design of a Watch you Are probably gonna wear visibly in public is actually really important
CMF = Waveform Clips
Nothing = MKBHD
Seeing this while my nothing watch on delivery.
Just a correction there, Nothing does have a charger, at least in India.
It looks like the leaks of what the redesigned Series 7 was supposed to be
what casio watch is he wearing?
You ever make videos on the xiaomi mi band?
Anyone know which model David's Casio is?
Love the new clips outro lmaoo
So that’s basically a fitness teacher with a large display
CMFing phonetically said quickly could sound like somefing/something 🤷🏾♂️
a few years ago i bought an amazon smartwatch thing for around $23 us dollars
India has a vast market of smartwatches and that's what Carl Pei is targeting @nothing
Why are they making fun of the company?
I am using redmi watch 3 active and it just around 50 US DOLLAR. Its working great.
Outtro was dope 😂
Presumably there's an SOC that does some basic "smartwatch" things (like give you 100 faces and 100 workouts), and the difference in price is the quality of the case and band, and how many get junked rather than going out the factory door with defects. But if it won't run Wear, will it have any apps? That is, be a real smart watch?
The watch at 1:56 is a modded Casio AE1200 I believe
2:58 Marques face so cute 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
I think cmf is for releasing cancelled nothing products, like the charger
What's that new Casio on David's wrist?
When you realise a used Galaxy Watch 4 in good condition can be a £50 smart watch😂😂
Huawei band 8 is sub $60 and its top quality for its segment. It also is on the top when it comes to heart rate accuracy.
Nothing doing the old OnePlus sub brand strategy
