I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy was in Daley Plaza on 11/11/1963. Specifically on the grassy knoll or in the storm drain.

That fits for this guy... he was there on that date, however, Kennedy wasn't.
Imagine being in the storm drain, then at some point, realizing that apparently no motorcade was coming that day. By his own account, he & his unit were prolific in failure.
President Kennedy was shot to death November 23, 1963.

@Psalm23.777 yeah, I was funnin you a little about that, but also pointing to how this guy comes off as totally inept . Where him showing up on the wrong day to do the hit, sounds like par for the course.
More likely him being locked in a bathroom stall at the Greyhound bus station in Topeka, KS than in Dallas on Nov 23..

Crazy story. The notin that you can fire a rifle zeroed in by someone else for such an important mission is unimaginable, especially given the fact that the scope was removed and was going to be reattached. I would think the rifle would have to be zeroed again because the scope would be slightly different on the weapon, especially given that era of rifles and scopes.

Yep, it makes no sense at all.
Especially if he was an "expert" shooter.
Most hunters wouldn't use a gun they hadn't sighted or practiced with.
There's no chance a Professional assassin would even try something so stupid.

Why don't you look into 'Fearless Rambo's' role in the torture and execution of U.S. DEA agent Kiki Camarena, and then come back and tell everyone how much of a warrior you think he was / is.

Again i ask this question. This was when he was 24 or 25 years old. To be involved at that level and at that age, does that seem right ? And,,, to be making huge decisions that could alter history ?? At that age? The maturity that man had to have at that age was amazing for any government to put him in any role of significant meaning.

It's not really that crazy. At the age of 24 I was lobbing the California legislator. Especially in Latin America, they get married earlier have kids earlier and usually go into a career earlier. I know person from Guatemala that was married at 14 years old.

      Not at all,
You can train to be a Navy seal at 18.
      (17 with parental permission)
US sniper training course is only 7 weeks.
So it's totally possible to have reached rank for selection & have enough training & combat experience by 25.

When the Declaration of Independence was signed, James Madison was 25 and Alexander Hamilton was 21. Men used to be men. That of course is no longer the case in the U.S., which is why it seems strange.

No that is not how a rifle is zeroed. Every person has a different cheek weld and eye position. A 14 year old hunting rabbits knows that and a CIA operative definitely knows that.
