I am a simple man. I ask for amazing automotive content, VINwiki delivers it every morning.
I remember seeing the pictures of the Ricky Bobby Lambo when you guys were running. Best rally livery I have ever seen. Well done.
Awesome stories Arne. Can't wait for more of your Antics.
the man, the myth, the legend.that is Ed Bolian himself
I got passed in Montana by the 2017 rally while out in a semi. Definitely the highlight of that trip.
I can't have Arne driving faster than me, I need to find some long straight roads in the Murci.
Ed Bolian also - downhill.
i love how at 7:16 salmondrins g class is sticking out like a sore thumb that car is fucking awesome
We didn't go that fast....
"I did 195 MPH and then ran out of space"
Arne is always up to something interesting. These sound like amazing trips. Thanks for sharing.
Arne the Police Whisperer
That shake and bake picture is the best.
Haha!!!!!!!!! I hit 130 in the tunnel Arne... that was an amazing moment!
i think the moral of all theese stories is, if youre going to speed have a radar detector and a awseome co-pilot so if you get pegged its 20mp/h over not 50. and have free merchadise to litter when when you leave
How did the TT Huracan pull against the Veyron?
Brett Bilger simple, way less weight. About the same power
Power to weight. Simple concept. Also some info for you, every car does not weigh the same. Go look up cars with a 1:1 power to weight ratio, then you will understand more. Also watch ENGINEERINGEXPLAINED that guy can teach anyone anything, so you are covered.
“Personally I was a little insulted he talked to me in this way” “I know about instant radar” lolol
These videos are so addictive. Great to see when I get off work.
Does anyone know how many miles BC has on his Veyron SS now?
Clint Gliford probably like 40k
VINWiki videos every day? Oh Ed, you're spoiling us!
This channel is the best damn car channel out there. I literally drove from Orlando to Huntsville listening to everyone of these videos, made the 700 mile trip fly by. Please keep this going, this channel has no choice but to become gigantic!!
Thanks so much, Have a great trip!
The outfits, wrap, and staying in character are all freaking amazing! Man what fun. Good pictures with it too. SHAKE AND BAKE!
The guy has a literal TCAS in his car
The only thing that I dislike about your videos is they are not long enough! Such interesting content!
Does anyone else feel like GoldRush is overtaking Gumball as the coolest rally out there?
I really want to know where he got the fig newton sticker, I've been looking for one lmao
for more awesome automotive stories tune in tomorrow, see all you fanatics same time same place tomorrow
I wish I was a police whisperer.
Outstanding storytelling! VA is no joke! That state is the reason I take a drivers education corse every few years in order to keep my license. 5 over in a Subaru Outback. Bam! Ticket!
We weren't going fast. 30 seconds later says that he was going 130 and says how he was close to 300mph.
Tasty Tyrone when you're driving a twin turbo Lamborghini things can change quickly
Yeah 300mph right....
He said 195 close to 200mph
BigTittyJoe i was referring to Tasty tyrones Comment
at 7:17 you can see Salomindrin's 4x4 squared!
Can't wait till next years, that'll be some interesting content from vinwiki and other automotive UA-camrs
ricky bobby lambo................. legends
Goals af.
I see the salmondrins blue 4x4 square back there in the picture
Ricardo Quezada 😂😂 im suprised someone noticed that
7:16 there's Salomondrin's bright blue 4x4 squared.
He did not have it then at the time of the rally.
My buddy put the same sticker on his super moded s2k n he rocked it for months n never got pulled over for it.. Crazy..
As a virginia resident, this dude's right. They're so strict on everything auto. Anything 20mph or higher or going over 80mph is considered reckless.
With that name, Arne have to have some family connections to Norway.
Greetings from Oslo, Norway 🇳🇴
tbh this is the best automotive channel on youtube
“I was getting after it pretty good” can’t imagine what speed that is for him...
These stories are really cool and unique.
Im really starting to miss doing another Rally after these videos!
CAME HERE FROM 2000 SUBS, you guys rock these stories are great
Thanks for coming along on the ride!
Lol, Im subscribed to DDE and because he is making videos of GR Rally, I thought it was one of his videos! But then I noticed it was Vin, which is better
This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient but I do love Fig Newton
Props man
love these stories
Man you deserve way more likes and subscribes
Straight G right here
You ran into some really, REALLY cool cops in VA. They're usually foaming at the mouth to hand out as many tickets as possible!
Legit thought this was Ike Barinholtz from Mad TV
Amazing content! Just discovered your videos three days ago but already watched all of them, as your app is pretty useless where I live(just south of the border) is there a way in which I can support you besides obviously sharing, like buying decals, merchandise or such? Please just keep these awesome stories coming!!
Thanks so much. We will expand internationally with the app at some point. For now help us spread the word and we may open a merchandise store at some point if there is enough demand.
We need a playlist of all of the like cannonball videos and stuff
We have a Cannonball playlist
Epic story. I think every pilot here cringed at that description of ADSB
In the second photo after the tunnel story you can see Salamondrin's 4 by 4 squared in the back
Bro I swear you are this guy "Ike Barinholtz"
Notification gang 🔥
We love you guys. Thanks so much for being a part of the VINwiki family.
Why is this the best channel ever 😂😂
I remember seeing you guys in DC on GR8! I’m from VA and yeah speeding is taken very seriously it’s crazy...
Rob Dahm introduced me to these guys in Charlotte. Super cool dudes for sure.
That's pretty awesome
this car is for testing purposes only, all other use is at your own risk
Police wise in Virginia the state troopers are the most stern
Donovan Jackson Funny you say that, I got nicked coming back from Vacation earlier this year. He got me for 82/70mph, I know it's pretty sad lol, but he told me its a Misdemeanor at 10mph over. I couldn't believe it.
Va resident here.
Draconian is the word for the speeding laws here. Important note: 20 over is reckless, BUT, 80mph is reckless PERIOD. Even if the limit is 70. I swear to bog they look for out of state tags: I can go by one at 13-15 over in the work van and they leave me alone-or swing out & get the guy w/ NY tags behind me.
I seriously advise people to just cruise on 77, 81, & 64: just not worth it here-and I hear it's worse to the north & east.
ayyyyy Love the channel!
Ayyyyyyeeeeee.... I see the Salomondrin 4×4²!!! 😂😂
That purple Aventador SV is from Edmonton Alberta Canada
I can confirm jail time for excessive speed in Virginia, at least it was a quite 3 days.
Can I work for ritz? I have seen this outro a million times I probably have it memorized, I could be like your spokes person
two hundered sixty fourth!
Some find a hall of fame to induct this man in
Arizona is terrible to speed in. I believe over 80 is jail. I was waiting for this fella in Austin during GR7 and they were a day late after straying from the pack in AZ, getting caught, and locked up for the night. LFAs look funny next to junkers in impound lots.
Arizona is the western equivilant of Virginia, I absolutely do not fuck around when i hit arizona state lines
In Oklahoma anything over 92 is considered attempted manslaughter.
haha how do any of you still have license lol must have great lawyers lol not complaining the stories are awesome!
This is dangerous and inconvenient but I do love Fig Newton
I went back and watched salomandrin a videos for gold rush 9 to see if I could see this guy
noice video im loving it
Can u make a playlist of ed bolian
We already did. Check it out!
I've driven a bit in the US (mostly VA), what is the best state / stretch of road to really open it up?
Lots of great options but the western states are known for more long, open roads.
Mr thin ears 👂😂.
Holy fuck thats the twin turbo lambo i saw being built at AMS when i was trying to get a job there
Why don't you Guy use cellphone signal jammers? So drivers don't call you guys in
SO-CAL OZZY you're a massive bubble of rolling cellphone blackout. That attracts attention, AND you are moving signuficantly faster than the flow of traffic and will be constantly dropping cars out if your jamming range. It won't prevent the calls, only delay them. Also, it is a federal crime to operate one, so your charges will cross state lines and hunt you down. Its an increased risk for very little benefit.
Off topic question but does anyone know where you can buy one of those polo shirts? The dennit racing ones? Thanks.
7:18 you can see salomondrins 4x4 squared
RDB LA gold veyron reppin
"I was insulted..." bwahaha
From 30 to 77k subs....
78K now
The Music.. In the intro!!
Anyone knows which is it?
"We speeded back up." Lmfao Speeded
stangkiller1789 speed it
does he work for platuim motor cars in Birmingham mi
His co-driver owns it.
Salomondrin way in the back in the blue Mercedes g wagon at 7:16
was that a gt3 he was driving? (the red porsche)
I went into one of the tunnels on I77 in Virginia behind a semi in a Mustang years ago. Whoever was driving that truck was all over the road, and he was blaring the air horn (that part was kind of cool.) I wanted to get around this idiot, so as soon as I reached the end of the tunnel, I jumped in the left lane and floored it. Got around the truck in no time, and was already off the gas and moving back into the right lane when I saw the trooper. He didn't want to hear my story at all just wanted my paperwork. Got a ticket for 81mph and a bunch of points. I've hated driving in Virginia since.
That sounds fucking. Amazing
I live in VA. Yeah it sucks pretty bad.
How bad?
When are you planning to bring Salomondrin????
atharv kocharekar I'm fine with that as long as farshad stays the fuck away.
Still don't get why you'd bring an airplane avoidance sensor on a road rally Lol
Some cops use planes for speed detection.
Stephen Schafer I mean he does say that they used a police airplane....................................
do u just like show up to be apart of the ralley?
+Belfonti no. Entry fees and registration. They tend to book up months before.
So I take it there is no ritz garage anymore?
Looks like everyday you make 1000 subscribers
Why is he wearing a bullet proof vest?
SuperSpeedersRob does it best
Well we have to pick up the litter
Anyone have a good list for things to carry for an amateur spotter? I'm the guy without a nice car in the group so need all the help I can to ease my friends minds while we are pulling down the highway
I got a:
radar detector
Good binoculars
Radios
A good map
Any suggestions?
A phone running waze with a strong windshield mount.
VINwiki Thank you so much!
I love your guys content! One of my all time favorite channels!
have you notice that all cops stand the same way, lean forward hand in the front.
The crash avoidance story went nowhere and now I'll always wonder about it
The Trucking Beard it was the police helicopter. He detected a police helicopter.
