Keep in mind that the show is loosely based on a comic, not the religious scripts of any kind.
Well, the comic does reference real world religion, with Neil Gaiman's signature twists, so it's fair to compare the show to IRL religion. The Devil as someone deserving pity and The Fall as part of The Plan is something Mark Twain, at least, really believed.

May not really mean anything, but a few facts to note: Dante's Inferno has nine levels of hell, including this episode as a start there are nine episodes of this season left. Also, Inferno is one of three realms spoken about in the journey through the afterlife. The other two are Purgatorio (Purgatory) and Paradiso (Paradise or Heaven). Without spoiling too much, we know there are two seasons after this.. May be worth thinking about. :)

at this point father kinley manipulated chloe so bad and i never blamed chloe it was i think the most human reaction the fact of her running to europe the whole poisson thing she was in a vulnerable place and kinley took advantage of that of course also she is in love with lucifer so many things went trough her mind i still believe if she had known linda knew things would have been different but of course we wouldnt have the storyline of season 4

You see, when an angel and a human love each other, they do a special kind of dance in the bedroom.

Ya probably not reading comments cause of potential spoilers. But If there’s a way for ya to get this info about the season 3 finale, episode 24 was the finale. The show got canceled after that by fox. They shopped it around and in order for them to help convince potential buyers, they aired those 2 episodes that were cut from the season, months after the finale. Fans watched the eps when they aired and the amount of ppl that watched it live helped the show get picked up by Netflix.
Dude, think about it. Even this episode was posted on 19th November. That means how early they would have watched that episode even before anyone could have posted a comment about it.

I tried to comment on their Patreon back when they put out episode 19 or 20 I think, to let them know but Idk the timing on how far ahead they already were. & they probably stay away from comments which is understandable. Just sucks for ppl who aren’t aware, to think the show did 2 eps after that ending & purposely didn’t follow the story. Netflix should’ve put out a warning saying something about those being extra eps that were cut from the middle of the season. This way they don’t come off as filler or like they didn’t care about following the story. Those eps did help with the revival of the series though.

The actor who plays the Priest did the voice of Dracula in Castlevania.
Inferno was a poem written in the 14th century by Italian poet Dante Alighieri (hence Dante's Inferno). As far as I'm aware it is largely responsible for 'modern' visuals and interpretations of hell. The bible doesn't actually get into it all that much.

God... I miss Lucifer so much
Graham McTavish guys, a brilliant Scottish actor, amazing look him up, and as a catholic, i hated the character, but one of the best acting jobs you will see in a long time.
All I will say is, the prolonged/forced separation of Deckerstar (yet again) in this season annoyed tf out of me and made me hate a certain character, still to this day. They really should have written Maze better. There was so much that could have been done with that character as a bounty hunter, side story. Urgh.
The average person can close A 20 foot distance before most people including law enforcement can draw and fire a firearm. Real knowledge being dropped.
