Something to think about: when this originally was recorded, that 69 Boss Mustang was 27 years old. A 27yo mustang today would be those from 1994, the same body style that blue Saleen is.
I'm new to the show, and I'm loving it. I just bought a 2018 Dodge Challenger T/A Plus and the Boss 429 definitely reminds me of it. Now off to all the other episodes. :)
***** ; Ford built 500/year in 69, and 70. They put on a tiny carb, and rev. limited a 8,000+ Rpm engine to 6,000 and in some cases 4,500. It was lowered and widened. A better car than the Shelby, which was luxury by that point. It didn't take much to make it really fly.
Nice place to start. I like the segment talking about how to get an old car back up and running, I knew most of it but not about the rotor part; also there's the brake fluid pump at 8:50, I've never seen one before and it looks like such a great tool.
I have a 1972 Pontiac GTO 350 at my house It sat in 1 spot for 17 years until August or July when we pulled it out somewhere in july or august Heres a link to the video ua-cam.com/video/kswqLtCoGlE/v-deo.html

That car was only 28 years old back in '97.
I love how the BOSS 429 was only worth $30000-$60000 back then
+Conner Sutton ; One mil and climbing.
