The Cannibal's size hasn't been confirmed in the books and since he hasn't been seen yet we can't really say if he's as big as people assume he is. He's only rumored to be older than Balerion, there's always the chance that he's smaller than Balerion
Cannibal would have to be one hell of a massive dragon to be bigger than balerion. I dont doubt cannibal was massive but id say he's more vermithor size and that's still very very big but a bit smaller than vhagar and definently not balerion size.

People have to take in the fact that even if a dragon is older than other doesn’t mean it will be bigger because many of the dragons were held in the dragon pit which stunt their growth
Dreamfyre is way bigger than Syrax. If I remember well, he was the dragon of Rhaena Targaryen, the daughter of Aenys, which makes her about 50 years older than Meleys and Caraxes.
Dreamfyre didn't look much bigger than Sunfyre though. I'd guess she's pretty similar in size to Seasmoke and end of season 6 Drogon. I believe Syrax is a bit smaller than what he said though (she also didn't really grow after the 10 year time skip). The age of the dragons doesn't matter as much apparently. The reason Syrax doesn't seem to have grown and lots of these supposedly much older dragons aren't necessarily much bigger than younger dragons is because they're locked up most of the time in the dragon pit. This stagnates their growth to some extent. Dany's dragons weren't locked up as much, which is why they grew so quickly despite being much younger than most of the dragons in HOTD.
@@shibernyan2009 Dreamfyre, unlike dragons such as Syrax, Sunfyre or Seasmoke, spent most of its life outside of the dragon pit, as he live long before its construction.
The Vfx artist confirmed that Vhagar is 150 meters long or 420+ feet, therefore if balerion is still a bit bigger he’s probably around 170-200 meters long
Meleys and Caraxes seem approx the same size in the show, he's long and she's massive, both big in their own way Edit: when you compare them to their riders and as they stand near humans Meleys is bigger indeed.
The only problems I have with this list is dreamfyre, who was older than vermithor and definitely not close to syrax in size, and the cannibal who can be easily disproven to be the biggest dragon
This. She's the second oldest dragon alive at this point. She hatched in 29-30AC during the reign of Aegon the Conqueror making her even older than Vermithor and Silverwing, who were born from 30 AC to 35 AC. Only Vhagar is older. Dreamfyre is supposed to have a more slender build, yes, but she's still *at least* 95 years old at this point. Almost double the age of Caraxes or Meleys.
@@charlieswanney8610 yea i see what you mean. Dreamfrye was the one i was excited to see but unfortunately i dont see how she will get air time in this period with the wars. They would have to take the prequel back to Rhaena Targaryen.
They say in the books that the dragons who were raised or reside I. The pit are notably smaller. Vermithor resides in the island and can still roam around and hunt. Syrax was kept close and over fed, she never had to hunt
Nice comparison, Most of these were pretty accurate except for DREAMFYRE, she is one of the second gen targeryn dragons along side Vermithor and Silverwing and she is the mother of caraxes and meleys, she can't be as small as shown here in the video, she is 100 and will be almost as big as Vermithor.
Dreamfyre is the mother to most of adult the dragons. She is known to have laid two cluthes of eggs by 43 AC and another clutch in 50 AC. Hatchlings from the last clutch hatched in 51 AC (most likely Meleys and Sheepstealer). Sheepstealer is stated to have been born in the early years of king Jaehaerys I's reign, so it would make sense that one of these hatchlings was him and that he was never claimed so become wild. An egg was placed in Aemon Targaryen's cradle in 55 AC. This hatchling was most likely baby Caraxes hatched from one of Dreamfyre's eggs. Three of Dreamfyre's eggs are stolen in 54 AC (pretty safe to assume that these eggs are the same ones that hatched in Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal). The eggs that is stolen by prince Daemon, after which he is forced to return it, is the one chosen for the short lived prince baelon by his older sister, rhaenyra. It can be safe to assume that rhaenyra used this same egg to place in her next brothers cradle (Aegon II) seem as this happend before the whole greens/blacks split. Aegon's egg hatched into the dragon Sunfyre. Syrax (looks like sunfyre) and Seasmoke (looks like Meleys) are also likely hatched from Dreamfyre's eggs seem as neither Silverwing nor Meleys ever laid any. This is back up by the fact that the maesters and dragon keepers are still using the aging Dreamfyre's eggs until Syrax started to lay. If Meleys (who was a few decades younger than Dreamfyre) was laying at that time then it would make sense for her eggs to be the main ones used, as she is younger and therefore the eggs would have had a greater chance of hatching (this is true to both reptiles and birds so it would make sense to be true to dragons) than Dreamfyre's. Tessarion, Vermax, Arrax, Tyraxes, Stormcloud, Shrykos, Morghul, Moondancer and Morning were all hatched from Syrax's eggs - I am almost 100% certain on that. Syrax is known to have laid multiple cluthes in the reign of Viserys I. These eggs were laid both at king's landing and dragonstone, so both the blacks and greens would end up having access to hatching some before the dance of the dragons. Dreamfyre isnt stated as laying any eggs during this period, so its likely she passed the age of being able to do so. Dreamfyre's first 'wave' of kids (Meleys, Sheepstealer and Caraxes) were most likely fathered by Vermithor (Balerion was probably too old to reproduce by the 50s AC). Caraxes then most likely fathered the second 'wave' of Dreamfyre's kids (Seasmoke, Syrax, Sunfyre) in the 90s AC - 100s AC. Vermithor probably didnt father the second 'wave' as he had grown attached to Silverwing during the long reign of Jaehaerys I, so probably wasnt interested in other female dragons, i.e. Dreamfyre. Caraxes was therefore most likely the father as Sheepstealer was wild (because he hadnt been claimed as a hatchling) so wouldnt have gone near Dreamfyre as she would have always been near people. Caraxes is a fierce dragon so it would make sense for him to take the place of the dominant breeding male. Syrax's offspring are most likely fathered by Seasmoke (backed up by the fact that the young dragons have his shape or colours). Syrax and Seasmoke were together during the marriage of Laenor and Rhaenyra so it would make sense for those two to become a breeding pair. Thought I'd comment this as a lot of people are asking who is the child of who :)
Would have been nice if you put a human next to them to get a scale of the actual size PS: The Cannibal is stated to be the oldest and largest of the wild dragons, but its never stated that he is remotely the largest of the dragons. Vhagar is stated to be the largest living dragon and Vermithor the 2nd, which means that the Cannibal is smaller than both.
its written as a history book so everything said is someones point of view or opinion. nobody has seen the cannibal in the books just know he exists on dragon stone. so couldnt say his size and the small folk say he was older than balerion
I mean, Drogon's siblings weren't far behind considering they were the same age. Practically all three of them were Balerion, Vhagar, and Meraxes reborn lol
On the one hand, it has always been said that Balerion was the largest of the known dragons, but on the other hand The Cannibal was a wild dragon, so not being in captivity, he could have grown bigger. As for the size estimates for Balerion and the other non-series dragons, I think they're pretty accurate (I'd like to know how you got there anyway), but I think Balerion should be a bit bigger. In other UA-cam videos (4:45 in this video ua-cam.com/video/lcyN_tH25R4/v-deo.html) it is estimated that Drogon's skull is 7' long, and since the maximum jaw opening of most Westerosi dragons is equal to the length of their skull, this is also 7'. Balerion was said to fit a mammoth in his jaw, and since Game of Thrones mammoths were 19 feet tall (2:50 of the video mentioned above) this should be the minimum size of their skull, so Balerion should be at least 2.71 times as big as Drogon (19/7=2.71). Doing some simple calculations, if Drogon is 120-130 feet long and his skull is 7', Balerion would have to be between 326 and 353 feet long to be 2.71 times Drogon's size. As always, great video!
The sfx producer said the size estimate she was given for Vhagar is 150 meters(around 490 something feet) and in the books Vhagar is described as being slightly over half the size of Balerion, later this is contradicted when they say Vhagar was 2/3rd’s the size of Balerion tho. Caraxes is maybe half Vhagar’s size and Vermithor is between the two in size. (Probably like 300 feet). Edit: The cannibal is a wild card as even Caraxes and Vermithor both avoided him but he’s definitely oh as big as Balerion who they say had such a massive wingspan he blacked out the sun in the riverlands when he flew overhead. Also more support for Vhagar’s size is when we see that big mf at Storm’s End and is literally too big to fit inside the castle’s courtyard which is at least 200 feet just looking at it.
I know we are getting SNOW and 10,000 ships.. but I also want another prequel about Aegon the conqueror so we can see Balerion the dread in live action instead of all the talk about him.
Seeing Aegon would be super cool in live action but I don't think that it should be an entire series because it was literally just the 3 dragons destroying literally everything without much stakes except when Meraxes made it to Dorne
Nah! At the time of conquest Balerion size would be close to vhagar at this point maybe smaller. As Balerion also lives 100 more years and grow till his death.
@@Noone91875 Balerion was bigger than Vhagar during the conquest as well, Vhagar was only said to be approaching his size during the conquest in the dance of dragons, she was never truly as big as Conquest Balerion in the dance of dragons. That was not confirmed, just a relative comparison.
From the 2nd episode to the 10th episode of House of the dragon, there is a difference of atleast 15 years but Syrax has not grown any bigger. She was still of the same size in episode 10 as she was in episode 2 when Rhaenyra went to Dragonstone to claim an egg from Daemon.

A lot of incorrect info here. Vermithor is bronze, thus his name "the bronze fury". Vhagar was encroaching Balerion in size and age so Balerion could only have been a bit bigger. Lastly, the Cannibal was described as being smaller than the likes of Vermithor and Vhagar, though possibly older.
Cause he was the dragon of the king lol , he was always seen by people while Cannibal was likely a rare thing to see , knowing that he is likely older at this point than Balerion ever was he could be bigger, also the fact that Cannibal survived even after the dance lowkey confirms that he had to be huge to not get killed by Balerion and the other big dragons, I really doubt that a small or even middle sized wild dragon could survive all that while also eating his own kind, that just seems unlikely
@@davidkosiba624 No, the books very clearly state that Balerion is the largest, then Vhagar and the Vermithor. The Cannibal survives the dance because he wasnt invovled at all. Cannibal preyed on small opponents, there's absolutely nothing to indicate he's bigger than Balerion or even the same size. George R. R. The largest dragons were Balerion, then Vhagar, then Vermithor. The Cannibal was just the largest of the wild dragons and is not compared with the three largest in terms of size. Here’s a list of quotes, one by the man himself; The Cannibal’s description; “The largest and oldest of the wild dragons was the Cannibal, so named because he had been known to feed on the carcasses of dead dragons, and descend upon the hatcheries of Dragonstone to gorge himself on newborn hatchlings and eggs. WTH is Cannibal doing up there ahead of Balerion? The Cannibal isn't even as big as Vermithor, let alone near Balerion who has been the only confirmed biggest dragon in the books (both when it comes to wild and/or raised in captivity).
Vhagar is the largest dragon alive by the time of the dance of the dragons, Cannibal is smaller than her and obviously smaller than Balerion and probably smaller than Meraxes. The confusion comes because he is the biggest of the WILD dragons, but not the biggest of ALL dragons.

If you want to know the actual sizes, you should refer to the book. In some parts of the series, the size of the dragons is not correct. For example, Daenerys' dragons are much smaller than other dragons (except Drogo) because they are 7 or 8 years old. But a dragon like Karaxis is 80 years old. But in the series, Drogo and Karaxis are almost equal. Or, for example, Daenerys's two other dragons, who are 8 years old, are bigger than Daenerys's dragon, which is over 30 years old.
The Cannibal isnt the biggest dragon... it's the biggest of the WILD Dragons and smaller than Balerion which is known to be the biggest dragon to ever live in Westeros. He remained unclaimed.
Not only did he remain unclaimed there was never a chance of anyone claiming him since he/she hated humans and dragons alike, and was never raised with humans around. There is allot of mix information from GRR Martin over the few years on Cannibals size. When first heard Cannibal was the biggest dragon period alive and its shadow would encompass a whole city. Some of the older dragons were kept inside the dragonpit, maybe that's the reason why drogon is bigger than the others because he's free outside. The Scaling was great love this vid and This guys artwork is so good, only thing I’d say is that Caraxes is slightly bigger then Meleys cause In the final episode u can see that Caraxes had actually grown bigger I mean the guys skull was huge next to Daemon. And another small thing is that Rhaegal was barely bigger than Viserion because Vis had died which stopped his growth.
Balerion was bigger than Vhagar back in the aegon days, but in the moment of hotd, Vhagar was said to be as big as balerion since dragons always keep growing and she lived longer
Balerion lived longer, actually. He was more than 220 years old when he died, and Vhagar lived to 181 years. Vhagar during the Dance of Dragons was almost the size of Balerion.
That's not contextual. Vhagar was said to be as big as Balerion "DURING THE CONQUEST" in HOTD and not afetr. Balerion became much bigger than Vhagar afterwads considering he grew to be older than her and died of old age. Vhagar would probably be 2/3rd of the Balerion's size if she kept growing (which she did not). Balerion was still bigger when he died.
Viserion was the smallest of Dany's dragons, so he should be switched with Rhaegal. Also I'd switch Syrax with Seasmoke. when you compare the size of the human's body sitting on the dragons (Laenor on Seasmoke in ep 3 of HOTD and Rhaenyra on Syrax in ep 10), Seasmoke seems quite a bit bigger both in terms of length and mass. And that's Seasmoke before the time skip compared to Syrax after the time skip, so Seasmoke is probably even bigger now than when we last saw him.
Dreamfyre is almost 100 years old by the latest episode. She should be huge. In comparison: Caraxes is about 70 years old. Daenerys dragons are maybe 7 years old. There is no way she's smaller than Rhaegal when dragons canonically don't stop growing even though Danys dragons grew fast Also Caraxes is said to be bigger than Meleys both in the books and the show
Dreamfyre didn't grow very large because she was kept in the Dragon Pit. However, I do agree that she should still be larger than what the show's portraying. She was at least large enough to be considered a huge asset to the Greens during war, but Helaena was too mentally broken to ride her.

Balerion had also received heavy wounds (some say that the reason for Balerion's death several years later was these wounds) and the reason for these wounds was Balerion's fight with Cannibal.
In the book, I think Daenerys' dragons were the same size as Lucretius's dragon Araxes when he was killed. Because Daenerys' dragons were 7 or 8 years old, but they were shown in the series as equal to Karaxis, who is an 80 or 90-year-old dragon. But it was never as bad as black terror

Dreamfyre is way bigger than Syrax. If I remember well, he was the dragon of Rhaena Targaryen, the daughter of Aenys, which makes her about 50 years older than Meleys and Caraxes.
I believe Fire & Blood says that Vhagar, Vermithor, and Silwerwing are bigger than Dreamfyre, but only Vhagar is older (by a LOT)
@@filipnielsen1000 Yeah, sounds accurate. Technically, I think Quicksilver was born before Dreamfyre, but he died young
But she was housed in the Dragonpit since 74 AC while Meleys and Caraxes were able to roam on Dragonstone and Driftmark

Dreamfrye was kept in the pit it stunted her growth as said in the book
@@tresjolieme81 yeah but syrax was a captivity dragon as well, and a captivity dragon 70+ years her age shoudk be much bigger

They say in the books that the dragons who were raised or reside I. The pit are notably smaller. Vermithor resides in the island and can still roam around and hunt. Syrax was kept close and over fed, she never had to hunt
Nice comparison, Most of these were pretty accurate except for DREAMFYRE, she is one of the second gen targeryn dragons along side Vermithor and Silverwing and she is the mother of caraxes and meleys, she can't be as small as shown here in the video, she is 100 and will be almost as big as Vermithor.
she was housed in the dragonpit for years, stunting her growth but still should be quite large
Just asking how is dreamfyre the mother of caraxes and meleys they not the same breed.

PS: The Cannibal is stated to be the oldest and largest of the wild dragons, but its never stated that he is remotely the largest of the dragons.
But the cannibal is only rumored to still be alive, so he's not included in that conversation. He could easily be bigger than both.
Wrong way round with vermithor
Drogon being as big as he was at the age of like 8 is crazy, he truly is the Black Dread reborn
I expected to see a whole picture zoomed out at the end
Same! really wanted to see that!
This keeps popping up, but Vhagar hasn't been shown to be anywhere near that big. 150 might be her wingspan, but her body isn't that big.
The pink dread got me😂😂🤣
I know we are getting SNOW and 10,000 ships.. but I also want another prequel about Aegon the conqueror so we can see Balerion the dread in live action instead of all the talk about him.
An Aegon show with Henry Cavil would go so hard
Seeing Aegon would be super cool in live action but I don't think that it should be an entire series because it was literally just the 3 dragons destroying literally everything without much stakes except when Meraxes made it to Dorne
Lol I actually searched hotd dragon size and got this video which was uploaded 6 minutes ago in top search 😂😂
When they eventually do a gone conquest I better be blown away by the size of Balarion
Nah! At the time of conquest Balerion size would be close to vhagar at this point maybe smaller.
As Balerion also lives 100 more years and grow till his death.
Balerion would actually be smaller than current vhagar

Just about the Cannibal, Balerion has always been called as the biggest dragon ever
Surviving the dance doesnt say anything about his size. Balerion didnt kill Sheepsteeler or Grey Ghost either. A giant dragon is unlikely to survive on eating eggs and hatchlings. Dragons kept in the pit stunts their growth. I read it in Fire and Blood.
Dreamfyre was actually kept in the Dragon Pit for half her life though (She lived nearly 50 years free and nearly 50 years captive) so if her residence was small enough it could've stunted her growth. Cannibal preyed on small opponents, there's absolutely nothing to indicate he's bigger than Balerion or even the same size.
George R. R. Martin literally stated that Balerion is bigger than ALL the dragons (not sure why that's up to debate when the author himself), Cannibal was only the biggest of the WILD dragons which none of them were anywhere near the size of the top 2.
The largest dragons were Balerion, then Vhagar, then Vermithor. The Cannibal was just the largest of the wild dragons and is not compared with the three largest in terms of size.
Here’s a list of quotes, one by the man himself;
The Cannibal’s description;
“The largest and oldest of the wild dragons was the Cannibal, so named because he had been known to feed on the carcasses of dead dragons, and descend upon the hatcheries of Dragonstone to gorge himself on newborn hatchlings and eggs. Coal black, with baleful green eyes, the Cannibal had made his lair on Dragonstone even before the coming of the Targaryens, some smallfolk claimed. (Grand Maester Munkun and Septon Eustace both found this story most unlikely, as do I.)“
- Fire & Blood; ‘the Dying of the Dragons: the Red Dragon and the Gold’… by Arch Maester Gyldayn
Another;
“Then there were three wild dragons that might be tamed if riders could be found: the Cannibal, said by the smallfolk to have lurked on Dragonstone even before the Targaryens came (though Munkun and Barth are dubious of this claim);”
- The World of Ice & Fire; ‘the Targaryen Kings: Aegon II’…. by Maester Yandel
On the largest dragons;
“He (King Jaehaerys I) was a dragonrider as well, riding upon Vermithor-a great beast of bronze and tan who was the largest of the living dragons after Balerion and Vhagar.”
- The World of Ice & Fire; ‘the Targaryen Kings: Jaehaerys I’…. by Maester Yandel
Another;
“In battle (Hugh Hammer) rode Vermithor, once the mount of the Old King himself (Jaehaerys); of all the dragons in Westeros, only Vhagar was older or larger.”
-‘Fire & Blood: Rhaenyra Triumphant’…
by Arch Maester Gyldayn.
Balerion;
“Of the five dragons who had flown with Aenar (Targaryen) the Exile from Valyria, only one survived to Aegon’s day: the great beast called Balerion, the Black Dread.”
- Fire & Blood; ‘Aegon’s Conquest’… by Arch Maester Gyldayn
Balerion’s age;

- Fire & Blood; ‘the Long Reign - Jaehaerys and Alysanne: Policy, Progeny, and Pain’… by Arch Maester Gyldayn
A conversation with GRRM;
DJ:
“I do have one more question for you. In this book we have many, many dragons and many, many Valyrian steel swords. If you could ride one dragon and wield one sword, which would it be?”
GRRM:
“If I could ride on one dragon I might as well go with the biggest, which would be Balerion the Black Dread. He’s the megadragon in this early book. He’s the only one who remembers Valyria, up to a certain point, because he was brought over from Valyria a little before the Doom of Valyria. He’s the biggest and meanest of the dragons that exists.
If I could wield only one sword, I don’t think it would be any of the Targaryen swords, it would be Dawn…”

Cannibals size is unconfirmed but it’s said he’s older than balerion so it is only understandable to assume he might be larger too , I mean you have to be pretty fucking large for the Targaryens to not mess with you even when you actively hunt their dragons and let him live on dragonstone
I don't think anyone would live to tell the tale if they had gotten close enough to get a good size estimate on the cannibal. GRR probably didn't elaborate on the Cannibals size because nobody was stupid enough to attempt to get close enough to observe his size.

I don't understand how Dany's dragon grew so fast compared to the other dragons in HOTD that are way older. Did they drink any growth spurt potion?
Some of the older dragons were kept inside the dragonpit, maybe that's the reason why drogon is bigger than the others because he's free outside. We can also observe this when both rhaegal and viserion were kept in the pit of the great pyramid, drogon grew bigger than them. Idk, i'm not sure abt this
@@jaecodm2161 I actually Googled and there is an article saying that Dany's 3 dragons grew faster than those dragons in HOTD because Dany's dragons were born out of magic. So at 9 years of age they are as big as those that are 40-60 years of age dragons in HOTD.

Vermithor is called the Bronze Fury btw
There’s no way the Cannibal is anywhere near as old and as big as Balerion
Would have been nice if u zoomed out to see all of them in a bigger picture at the end, but still nicely done, thank u~
Dreamfyre is small for a dragon her age despite being in the same generation as Vermithor and Silverwing. Maybe it's due to her spend too much time nesting in the Dragonpit
Yeah according to the Wiki of ASOIAF, Dreamfyre has been in the dragonpit since 73 AC so she hasn't really grown since then
Seems largely right but Dreamfyre is higher up the list than you have and there is no point putting Cannibal on the list because there is no size mention or reference at all. We only know that it is the biggest wild dragon.
Technically Dreamfyre was bigger then that she is supposed to be bigger the caraxes or meleys
Ikr, yes she was locked up in the Dragon Pitt most of her life but she was older than Vermithor ffs
@@maddawg9636 she wasn't locked up most of her life. She was born way before the pit was created
@@samdetroper9118 she also spent much of her life flying around Westeros when she was bonded with her first rider Rhaena
@@samdetroper9118 She spent a good chunk of her life in it, you get my point
@@sosa2mars Rhaena was held captive by Maegor similar to how rhaenys was held captive so she could t use her dragon and then after Rhaena was moved from castle to castle Dreamfyre was really only ridden during her Rhaena’s teens so mostly Dreamfyre has been kenneled up.
If we see Cannibal in S2, I know the internet will go nuts!
Dreamfyre is probably the third largest dragon alive, she's the second oldest dragon alive
Dude, older does not always mean bigger. Plus, she was kept in the dragon pit longer than any other dragon.
@@Al-ji4gd Dreamfyre was 100 years old, if not older at the time of her death, her being smaller than Drogon at age 8 makes 0 sense

Maybe include a wide view in the end so we can compare, for example vhagar and arrax?
Bruh the show did that lmao. Arrax pretty much same size as Vhagar's mouth
My theory on the Cannibal is that he’s either a bit bigger or about the same size as Vhagar, but not nearly as big as Balerion.
I dont get why people say that Cannibal is bigger than Balerion. He isnt, and it is said multiple times in the book, in the guide book of the universe AND in the guide book of HotD that Vhagar is the biggest dragon at the time.
10s of dragons .. but if you think clearly
Pink dread is the one that killed them all 😂
Now a video on their riders please
The mighty pink dread 😂
My goodness Dreamfyre is sooo beautiful..
But am I the only one who thinks Dany's dragon kinda huge for their age? All of them barely 10 years old when the show ended.
Showrunners have said Vhagar is almost 500 feet long. I also want to add that because of budget Caraxes and Syrax didn’t grow in later episodes.
Cannibal is when GRRM got a writer's naming block, and just said 'Oh, Fuck it'
Whenever they spoke of Balerion, they said he was more than a 100 miles long. That means he was more than 500,000 feet in length.
Yeah, i think you should stop smoking crack
@@mindq4328 lmfao
I’d love to see a flashback scene with Balerion and Aegon the Conqueror
Vermax seems to be as big as Syrax in the 10th episode. The Cannibal is the biggest WILD dragon but not bigger than Vhagar.
Don't forget Silverwing, the mate of Vermithor, she's still alive in dragonstone and she's not as big as vermithor, but bigger than meleys
New favourite HOTD video because of The Cannibal and the art style!
Thank you🤗 clear my confusion
There is no way she's smaller than Rhaegal when dragons canonically don't stop growing even though Danys dragons grew fast
Also Caraxes is said to be bigger than Meleys both in the books and the show
Dreamfyre didn't grow very large because she was kept in the Dragon Pit. However, I do agree that she should still be larger than what the show's portraying. She was at least large enough to be considered a huge asset to the Greens during war, but Helaena was too mentally broken to ride her.
where do they say Caraxes is bigger than Meleys in the show?
@@syntheovaldy5173 at the beginning of the show. It's said Daemon rides the biggest dragon (only counting claimed dragons of course)

Sunfyre killed moondancer and a wild dragon on the Dragon Stone (Ghost). He is a formidable one too.
According to the writer itself, aside from Balerion the Black Dread (coz he's dead) Vhagar and Caraxes is the most formidable dragons.

The cannibal is never stated to be that large
Imagine syrax dies in season 2 and rhanerya bond with canibal
Cannibal would eat her at first site.
@@michaelmichaelagnew8503 just imagine dude 😎
a quick question there is a dragon called disaster
i heared cannibal was valeryas emperor dragons the emperor AURION. Before the dance, when one of the Targaryen princesses flew with Balerion to Balerion's birthplace. When she returned, the princess's body was full of parasites and worms.
This would be perfect with a human for reference at the side of every dragon, you should almost re-upload it with that
At the end you should have done a zoomed out shot so we can get a better scale of comparison between the dragons not shown on the screen at the same time.
Meleys has to be the most dragon looking dragon in the series.
Can you make a version of this with modern measurements instead of the medieval ones? Thank you
lol u gotta be petty and add the pink dread. thats messed up. thanks for adding that humor 😆
