I agree! I’m also a big fan of the abstract shots in the end. It is very pleasant to watch even as a not so big bike fan. I also like the grading and the panoramic shots. Your muscles are probably not the only thing growing throughout your vlogs. Each vlog gets stronger and stronger too. A true pleasure to watch. Keep up the good work. The drooling on your shirt on 8:24 maybe a bit less ;-)
Whoa, feeling humbled by those lovely words, Jonathan! Beyond glad you've enjoyed watching and thrilled to share more rides; this is exactly why we keep doing this. Much appreciated, mate!
While I can't write in Cyrillic, I do hope my gratitude still comes across: Thank you so much for the loving words, really happy you've enjoyed watching the video! :) Bless you, friend!
Can't thank you enough for the support, Bernhard! Making sure we're motivated for completing a full series this year. ;-) Are you planning on doing any brevets yourself as well? Cheers!
Thanks so much, Sharon! I have yet to undertake a 600k, but the 400 truly was a tough one to crack, indeed. Are you also having a go at a 400k brevet yourself? :-)
Thanks a bunch, Dirk! Given that this was our first attempt at a 400k, we decided not to focus much on getting the fastest time, and chose for sufficiently long resting periods instead. In total, it took roughly 21 hours. Cheers!
@@LateStarter52 Right there with you, mate! Would have been happy with any time, as the sense of accomplishment at the end predominates everything else! Are you planning to undertake any brevets this year?
@@zonderweg "Are you planning to undertake any brevets this year?", ah there is half my problem, too much "planning" and not enough riding but if I can motivate myself enough in the next few months and get a qualifying SR series done then I might see if I can get a place on PBP in August, very very long shot though, you interested in a PBP?
There's no substitute for a good calm morning ride. Nothing to worry about being fast but being one with the moment. ❤️
It's like you're reading my mind; I couldn't agree more!
And the best thing about it, is that it's absolutely free.
I enjoy the moody-ness of this . That sunrise in the beginning and those pink clouds were beautiful to look at
Wow, I am feeling humbled by your kind words! Thanks a bunch!

Brilliantly shot and well edited. Well done for completing 400k and sharing it with us.

Cheers mate, thanks for the kind words and feedback! Means a lot. :)
Well done…everyone I speak to says the 400 is the toughest

Hey! what camera are you using?
Hi there! Everything was shot using a GoPro, but the footage was also colour graded in post. Hope it helps!
@@zonderweg heyy! Thank you, that helps! :)
Top. Less than 24hours for 400km. In what time did you do this ride.
Thanks a bunch, Dirk!

@@zonderweg Well done. I would be mega happy with a 26h 59 and your 21 is awesome IMO
