I subbed to your channel a while back cause I'm a fan of Tom MacDonald (HANGOVERGANG4LIFE) and YELAWOLF (SLUMERICAN) and now to see Blue October on your channel wow. I found this band thru UA-cam about 5yrs ago. At that point I hadn't listened to any music for ten years. It was too painful. My youngest son was killed in a tragic ambulance vs bicycle accident in 2007 when he was 13. I first saw the video for HOME by BLUE OCTOBER then I went down the rabbit hole. This song FEAR has helped me and many many others in dark times. The singer (Justin Furstenfeld) says this is one of his favorites because at the time he wrote this he didn't know this side of him existed. He had recently gone through drug rehab and then lived in a halfway house (he was battling addiction to meth and alcohol) and his 2nd little girl Sadie Bell had been born. When he first got clean he was concerned about his ability to still write. There's a very noticeable difference in his music at this time too. Justin writes about what his life is like and what he's going thru god or bad and that's probably the reason so any people he gravitate to their music. You should check 2 videos that really show this change the 1st being official video for WORRY LIST. then 2nd FIGHT FOR LOVE Live ft. Blue Reed Furstenfeld 💙 hang in there..

I play this song all the time if you click on my picture with my daughter holding the guitar she does this song so good she is 6 in the video at the time and she brings so much love to me I lost my mom, Lost my dad and father in law all with in 2 months and I just broke it got dark for awhile but I got back up and moved on because of my kids. Blue October’s, Justin Furstenfeld, sings emotions like no other. Early songs are very dark and heavy due to divorce addiction, custody battles, relapse, etc. Now 10+ years, sober, most of his songs are more hopeful. Other positive songs I think you would really like are “Home” about the comfort and safety of a loving home and “Daylight” about being able to live a joyful life free from addiction.

Amen after having my wife passed away then my youngest son who was born on my birthday passed away when he was 27 years years old this was the hardest thing that I ever went through. Then in 2018 then my mother passed away in 2019 then after losing my second oldest sister on October 22 2020 and then my older brother and on Thanksgiving Day in 2020. And I'm the only one left in the family out of 6 kids and my dad who was also my best friend passed away in 2001
