    I am a long lost family member of the Sinclair's... my great grandma was a Sinclair this is so cool to learn about this stuff

      ​@@crackthecan3970Mary Sinclair (Metis) married John Inkster (Orkney Islands migrant to the Red River Settlement. He came around 1810-20s. Their home still stands in Winnipeg and is the oldest house in Winnipeg. It's called Seven Oaks House. It's been a museum since 1950s and runs annually from May to September long weekend.

      Mixed ancestry of scotch and indigenous is mixed ancestry. Métis. You can't have one without the other. Stolen lands, is another story
