Thank you so much for this video! This is my next project on my ‘66 Mustang and I think I am going to use your ideas to help me. I like the idea of hidden speakers.

I used contact cement on my package shelf vinyl and it worked a bit quicker.

Easy enough to find out. I will know when I start driving it.
I'm wondering if those clips you didn't put back on, were there to keep the panel from buffering/flapping, when the windows were down.
The panel is usually held in place by the gasket and by the seat back which overlaps the panel.

Curious why you used a different adhesive than you used on the headliner?
I was out of that stuff. My wife had this, and I wanted to try it.
