Slowly, the little guardian takes a bite of the apple. Pain explodes through his Soul as something negative takes hold. His mind twists with his body, spilling acid and black tar. He smiles at his former assailants; in an instant, the peaceful hillside becomes a graveyard. He crushes the tree with one stroke, the blood of his persecutors mingling with the splinters.
He laughs.
The Nightmare begins.

It's likely he changed his form to match more modern clothing after 500 years. In the canon comic right after he transforms into Nightmare, he actually retains his old clothes

ohhh, this is good stuff right here. I really like your fanthemes, they're not like sharaxs (she's good but god does her music hurt my ears-) and not a megalovania remix. 12/10 would listen for the first time and go through the pure feeling of euphoria again

Each time I think of dream tale I think of all the wrong people and monsters did to Nightmare because he was the protector of negativity. Some thing he couldn't control. It sad... T-T

Dream being led away cheerfully as a hand picks up a rock
Dream touching Night’s face and injecting bruises
Night making excuses
Dream’s concerned face looking behind him
Pan to Night alone on the other side of the tree
0:49-0:52 wind before the storm
All the tree’s apples being corrupted with negativity, the last golden apple’s shine fading and the goo covering it falling
0:53-1:02 beat
A single anon monster’s eyes suddenly well up with tears- then anger- they walk out the door, grabbing a bat as they go-

Dream walking to the tree, the little brother’s shoulder knocked by one in the crowd, skelebrows furrowing-
1:06-1:12 snare thing
Nightmare looking up at the tree, tears falling, then to his brother, eyes widening and shivering as Dream’s attempts to stop the crowd are overcome- overcome- as Night almost reaches out, hand falling limply to the side after a heartbeat-

Dark words glowing dirty green in the dark orange sunset around Night
‘Get stronger'

‘If you don’t, you’ll die'
Night gulps, shaking-
1:17-1:19 bouncy synth
Night’s tears fall and he opens his mouth
Landscape view of the crowd closing in-
1:20-1:33 synth
Dream opens his eyes and struggles to get up
He dodges the crowd- one- two- three-
Night comes into view
The last three seconds flicker every frame or so as Dream’s eyes widen and water and Night’s mouth crunches into the apple-
1:34-1:46 creepy xylophone thing
Nightmare eats apples.
Goop starts to pour out of his face, his mouth, his eye sockets- His skull cracks-
Dream’s eyes glisten with horror and he stops in front of the mob, shaking- Most monsters stop where they are-
1:47-2:14 negative synth beat
Night shakes. He eats. He doesn’t stop. A beat. A core tossed each beat. Dream turns away, also shaking. Hand over mouth. Eyes witnessed pure horror.
Night’s expression turns from pain and sadness to hatred, a snarl that’s soon covered with negativity.
Goop pours over Night’s body-
2:15-2:28 synth beat buildup
Night shakes. He hunches over, Dream feels frozen to the spot, he looks back and immediately his eyes shut, tears spill, half a golden tear and half a purple one fall-
“Please… don’t forget who I used to be."
2:29-2:35 (snare thing dada,DADAdaDAda.da.daa along with a cracking sound at the beginning [amazing perfect timing])
Tentacles rip out of the elder brother’s back, his rib cages cracking as Nightmare suddenly straightens painfully
2:36-2:41 still snare thingy DADAdaDAdaDADAdaDAA
Night turns- no, *Nightmare* turns around, a fierce glare on the villagers. The last thing to be covered by negativity… is his headband. The moon is swallowed up, the cracked skull beneath it. He eyes one with a rock and they shiver, backing up-
He looks down and closes his eyes.
2:42-2:55
A burst of tentacles. A genocide, a slaughter- a *_mass murder._*
Hundreds of monsters and humans are sliced in half, stabbed, and few are left unscathed under the newly red sky.
On beat-
| /
*sob* in gold, the creature of goop - raises his single eyebrow and turns around, blankly snarling (like Error, actually…).
Dream’s eyes widen in fear, tears accumulating at the bottom of his sockets.
A slimy glowing green sentence another as Nightmare turns to show a manic grin taking place of his snarl reads,
*'Why are you crying?'*
*_’They got what they deserved.'_*
Dream shuts his eyes, fists against his chest. He’s screaming as the tears spill out. A golden lettering reads, *_“NO. THEY MIGHT HAVE DONE WRONG, BUT THEY DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE!!!"_*
Nightmare begins to laugh. Maniacally. Dream’s face has concern and fear and worry all over it as the background fades to black from red, written laughter and words glowing green behind him.
*‘Lies, lies! **_everyone_** deserves pain, they're all so stupid! They said I was evil, **_so I'll be evil,_** they'll regret **_everything... EVERYONE WILL REGRET!!!'_*
2:56-3:09
Dream steps forward, holding a glowing golden apple. Golden text weaves its way around the darkness that used to be his brother.
_“Nightmare... are you still there? W-Why did you do that? _*_Please, please, brother, tell me you're still there!_*_ why did you- _*_no, it doesn't matter!_*_ I forgive you! _*_Just come back, please!!!”_*
Nightmare’s eyes widen a tiny bit-
Dream’s hope glimmers for a millisecond-
Dream’s on the ground, Nightmare’s tentacles holding him down by his neck.
3:10-3:22
Dream’s hand shoots up to his neck.
_“I-It hurts,”_ The golden words rasp, torn in half, jagged.
Nightmare extends a hand and slimy words appear along his tentacle.
*‘Give me the apple **_now_** and I will spare your life.'*
Dream looks at the apple in his hand and makes up his mind, his newfound determination shining on his face.
He bites.
The apple becomes one with the protector, the tentacle tears away from his neck, and a burst of gold radiates, highlighting words in dark, negative, filled with hate and sadness and pleas for help, desperation. Dream opens his hand as a staff forms mid-air.
It all goes black.
3:23-3:36
The staff glows in the dark as Dream takes hold as Nightmare backs up repulsively. The words come back, they flood, a single despondent sentence cries out,
*_" 'HELP US.' "_*
A jolt behind Dream slices through the screen and he looks down.
A trail of goop staining the grass, its tips rising out and lashing out at the villagers.
Dream’s eyes widen as we see a shot with the tree behind him- it flickers- Nightmare’s suddenly behind him, grinning wildly-
Black.
3:37- End
Nightmare stands, one foot on the statued brother, a crooked frown as he looks up from the stone.
He snarls and walks off, slicing the tree as he goes to the side that was always negative.
The view sees his hatred on the face with the tree falling to his left as his eyes shine green and Nightmare falls through himself,
leaving a dark, infinite hole where the grass used to be.
Grammarly deleted all the "wrong" words like Dream doing stuff on youtube here so
spent too much time on this (aka like 40 minutes)

Goddamit, I recalled reading someone's comment on the kazoo and now whenever it comes up, I keep imagining an image of a flying kazoo bouncing around to the beat. Someone please make a video of this, this was suppose to be sad and suspenseful. Why am I so happy now?! I cried to this before so many times.

The prince collapses.
Black, aggressive tentacles shoot from his back. He looks up at his own brother, who watches in horror as corruption takes over. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD-" the corrupt prince yelled, for that isn't the prince any longer... he got up from the ground, pupils shrinking, smile widening. He had become a NIGHTMARE. The once prince jumped towards his brother, the tentacles seeming as spikes. The brother, Dream, quickly dodged back, in fear of what a nightmare his brother had became, if it even was still his brother. Dream quickly got out his bow, pulling it back, terrified of what he'd have to do. The arrow gleamed and glowed, it was shot. The nightmare stumbled back, as the prince grabbed his corrupted skull. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" the prince yelled again, in a panicked anger. The dripping corrupted negativity gushed again, the nightmare and the prince were fighting for control, one attacking the other. But quickly, the tentacles became spikes once more, the nightmare jumping at one of the many who had once mistreated the prince, stabbing them with one of the tentacles. Dream reacted nearly immediately, yelling; "EVACUATE!" The nightmare had its attention back on him, teleporting behind Dream, saying in a distorted, alarming voice; "give me your apple, won't you..?" Dream jumped back once more. "You aren't my brother, your a nightmare," Dream said, in a deeper, serious tone, one the prince; Passive nightmare; not even he had heard. "What have you done with my brother!?" Dream yelled, prepared to dodge. "oh I simply put him away, I'll be in control for awhile!" The nightmare responded; and as if to taunt Dream, he politely smiled.

@@xXtha Uncorrupted nightmare dosen't kill people he just feeds himself with negative feelings and Corrupted nightmare straight up made a team of bad guys and started killing.
@@zikriyakhan2098 I'm not sure why you commented this since my comment above stated Uncorrupted Nightmare is the good one and Corrupted Nightmare is the pure evil one, but while you're right uncorrupted Nightmare doesn't kill, he also doesn't feed himself with negativity, and rather just guards it, while corrupted Nightmare feeds off negativity and doesn't kill, as that prevents him from gaining negativity, and rather uses his team of murderers to spread negativity across the multiverse.
