Container rollover accident in Long Beach

  • Back at it again with another container rollover, with the back end under a bridge! Video is short because we made short work of it, straight to the point as always. Immediately upon arrival, I parked parallel to it so I can start hooking up the front off the side. Once Dave arrived, he backed up to it so he can lift the rear offset then swing over towards the middle.
    My wrecker assisted in spiking the tractor while catching it from the front, which allowed us to bring this entire unit over super smoothly like all our rollovers. Safe, quick and efficient clearance that everyone is used to equals another great job by the crew.

      @@davidsandberg7631 did you see the last on where the chassis was almost twisted 45 degrees. The front locks weren’t locked so when it went over the tractor stayed upright but the container and the rear axles went for a ride over a guard rail. There was a lot of energy in that chassis.

  • @Jehty_
    @Jehty_ 3 роки тому +1

    Ok, now I am convinced that these truck drivers roll over deliberately so you can make videos.
    Seriously, how many rollovers happen in your area? Shouldn't the truck drivers learn at some point to slow down while turning? With that amount of accidents every truck driver in your area must have seen a few rollovers and then they still don't drive carefully...

    • @PepesTowingService
      @PepesTowingService  3 роки тому

      Well you have literally thousands of containers entering and leaving the ports every day. If even 0.0001% of them roll over, that's one per week.
