That's not 1919 london. He went to london in 1933 and assisinated Michael O Dwyer in 1940. The incident took place after 21 years of the massacre. You guys must watch this movie on amazon prime. This movie is on oscar entry list from India.

@@pitamahbhishmagaming2100 the indian jury didn't send it to the Oscars. I wouldn't have mind if the movie wasn't India's official entry for Oscars but the reason that they gave that "it will offend the brits" Made me cringe.
Finally,now the movie has also released on prime,its really good, u should watch n review,but you'll need patience it's 2hr 45 mins,vicky has performed insanely well, direction, casting is been great

Last 1 hour of this masterpiece is such that someone who is watching needs stone heart to watch because it's brutal man. How the British brutally killed several hundreds innocent, unarmed Indian including children, woman, old people on the festival day of Baishakhi. It's brutal man.

The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919. A large but peaceful crowd had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab to protest against the arrest of pro-Indian independence leaders Dr. Saifuddin Kitchlew and Dr. Satya Pal. In response to the public gathering, the British Brigadier-General R. E. H. Dyer surrounded the Bagh with his soldiers. The Jallianwala Bagh could only be exited on one side, as its other three sides were enclosed by buildings. After blocking the exit with his troops, he ordered them to shoot at the crowd, continuing to fire even as the protestors tried to flee. The troops kept on firing until their ammunition was exhausted.[4] Estimates of those killed vary between 379 and 1500+ people [1] and over 1,200 other people were injured of whom 192 were seriously injured
