I'm headed home tomorrow in my new to me, '01, Baseball, thanks to you, Car Chris and AndyCharger. Because of your videos, we've done intake, downtube and exhaust with a tune. H&R front sway bar. This to replace my '54 Austin Healey 100-4, BN1, roadster I raced in the mid '60's. Now, kids grown and gone, house paid for, and a reasonable '14 535 M Sport as the Sunday car in the other half of the garage, I've gone back to a real roadster. Regretfully, the windshield doesn't fold down, but on the other hand it puts out more than 90 hp. Thank you again for your indispensable videos. I've got the window ledges pealing up and the driver seat heat button is pushed into the dash for projects. Thank you again Dom P.S. On the way out, I got stopped for speeding in OK, going from 6 lanes & 75 mph two 4 @ 70. I was at 84. After being given a warning, the OK State Trooper gave me his e-mail address so I could send pix of the TT.

It needs some help with the door ledge tops peeling up and the driver seat heater switch is pushed in leaving a hole. Hey, is anything perfect after 21 years ? Well, MY TT comes pretty close. I recently bought a 08 TT 2.0 in silver, not my first colour choice but! Anyhow I thought initially that it was impeccable finish, but when I got it home and was polishing it I found a number of small imperfections, chops, and scratches. The amazing thing about silver even now I know they are there they just don't stick out. Incredible so now I'm kind of pleased with silver.
Great to see you finally bought a roadster , looking forward to some roadster content. Was going to part with my green one but decided to tax yesterday and insure for another year, maybe see you at a meet sometime this year, June 19th at the motorist maybe.
Nice! My 3,2 roadster also has 19" wheels, and I was considering dropping down a size as the rise is a bit jiggly. But not sure if its really worth it or if thats just how they drive with the scuttle shake. A back to back comparison of 17, 18 and 19 wheels would be super awesome!

It's why I bought my TT (we're waiting on one more part, left out of the exhaust kit) and I'll be on my way home, stop in Winslow to get a pix by the flatbed Ford and certainly with a big grin on my face. 70 and 80 F all the way.
Hey Dom, glad you got a roadster, looks good! My side skirts are both rusted at both ends so if you work out (or already know) where to find new ones I'd be interested...
I’m getting my first roadster tomorrow high mileage 260k lol, but full service history, all for £400 will probably rebuild the engine anyway so no big deal, it does need the rear subframe replacing as mot advisory says corroding but not excessive

I've got one of few coupe (blue sprint) with baseball interior ! Headrest should be higher on yours due to security on roadster, it should be not possible to put it as low. My seatbelts, Gearbox knob, handlers and kneepads are black and not tan. Difference with convertible is back of seat are pvc and not Suede (even for black seat) good ride

Excellent! Looks very similar to my old 225 that died (Except I never had that coveted interior!) 19's look good to me, and you got lucky with that scratch, I was expecting it to go all along the sill 😆 Personal recommendation would be to powdercoat the roll bars, I did this on both of mine and it de-ages the car somewhat quite nicely. Good purchase! It's looking excellent for its age.

Hi Dom, happy to see you bought a roaster. Silver like mine, maybe not the nicest colour but you will enjoy a lot when the weather is sunny!!! . Totally agree with you, you hear alot of noises twisting and so on when cornering, of cours chassis is worse than coupe but anyway the rosdster gives you a lot! Nice example on top and cockpit, hows the undercarriage look. Do we get to see soon? Its all about personal taste on the wheels. Me, for that car, 17's/18's with a better sidewall and lowered with coilovers would be a good compromise with looks and ride.
Yeah it’s a little weathered underneath but no worse than any other uk based car 😂. Yeah that’s the same for me, drop down to 18’s then lower it slightly to reduce the arch gap

Well done, that a nice car and I do like the 19's but like you comfort is what it's all about for me on the road. But I'm still struggling with that empty space in the garage......the raodster or a 7 hmmmm🤔

I'm sorry to say, fair warning: Dave from Kirbyprintedcreations has said the following on October 30, 2022. Is it Halloween there too ? “Dear p-1070, If you don’t like it you have to send it back kirkbyprintedcreations” To do so will cost about $25. I can’t figure out why Dave would want it back other than he knows the quality of what he’s selling particularly to someone in the States, as they would have the same reaction as I. So, Dave gets the sale, I get an out of the chute, failed product. It broke in half before it was ever used because the plastic walls are too thin. Just simply poor engineering. Great design as well as being about the only arm rest offering available. Regretfully, engineering and manufacturing is amateurish, unacceptable. I’ll be happy to send pix to anyone.
This is the slightly more tricky one 😂, although my insurance company and very good as they know I can only Drive one at a time and premiums are not horrific 😂
She's not particularly camera friendly, I've tried many times but she would rather be behind the camera than in front haha ( or do i even have a partner .... 😂 its a daily battle with the amount of cars i bring home haha
The roadsters have a more substantial chassis to make up fot the lack of a tin roof. Mine has the baseball interior and is green. I will get around to sending a photo one of these days. 🇦🇺🐨🦘🇦🇺

Really nice TT dom just needs 1 or 2 things doing to it . Its looking really nice with 19" wheels and i love tan leather aswell.

Make sure those drain tubes are working , or your CCM will get it & believe me they are almost impossible to get

Just picked up a tt hard top, do you know how hard it is to fit as was hoping to collect on the car, can’t find any clip on fitting one
ideally when buying the hard top you will want to get the necessary parts to fit it as well, they are not easy to come by otherwise
