Every year I start with a 9 month schedule and then life happens. I had to switch my 3rd graders LA from CLE to Masterbooks LA and Fix It Grammar level 1 this month. I also suffered a chemical burn in one of my eyes and had to take an unexpected week off. The LA switch has made our day so much smoother so I am not regretful. My goal is to make sure we complete MB Language Arts grade 3, but we can stop Fix It at the same time and continue level 1 in 4th grade.
@@Grace_Filled_Homeschool Sorry to hear about your burn. That must’ve been scary. I’m glad your switches have been working well! It’s always nice when you find a good fit! 🥰
I love your new way of scheduling!! We do about the same, but I adjust it around my work schedule and when we are busier! But we continue where we left off! 😅
Oh! Good idea using cds from the library as free audiobooks! I'll have to see what our library has. I saw one of your comments on someone else's video about what Language Arts you'll be starting soon. I won't say, since i dont want to ruin your reveal🤫 But I'm excited to see how it goes for you. I had just started researching that company. P.S. your hair looks so pretty and shiny!❤
@@rebekahian Haha! 🤣 I don’t think you could ruin anything. 😂😂😂 But that did give me a good laugh. Yes, I am excited to try it. I will be sharing about it next week I think. Thank you for the hair compliment. I wasn’t sure how the terrible lighting in my room would look, but it was the only quiet place I had to film. 😂
We started with the sabbath schedule then our one week break turned into a five week break 😳🫣 LOL. Totally forgot to add that to our update. Love what you said about the schedule. You’re so right. The longer we homeschool the more I’m like I want a plan but we don’t follow it too strict.
@@HomegrownHomeschool I use the free Hymn of the month printables on the Happy Hymnody website. I linked it below. 😊 It has music and lyric sheet printables along with a historical description about the hymn/writer. They also have a YT channel where they post them singing the hymn so you and your family can sing along. 💕 happyhymnody.wordpress.com/printables/
Great update Jerilyn. Love how you are adjusting things and going with the flow more. That’s I am

It can definitely be a struggle coming back from a break. Even if we have a long weekend, the first day back can be rough.

@@Homeschool.in.Paradise Nice! 👍🏻 That sounds like a great way to do it. 😃

Hi Jerylin, are you from the United States or Canada?
@@CarolFekadu United States🇺🇸
Will you continue with Math U See
@@shaynabelknap2675 Yes, but I am trying to figure out if we need to add something else because we need more review. 😊

What hymn study are you using? I would love to add that in
