It is nice up there, I have been a few times now and managed a few fish. Still waiting for the day when it really fires up. I need to get some red claw tips from you. I catch donuts rather than red claw :-))))))
@@Lure_Loser I recon it will fish really well over the next couple of months. We saw a lot of fish on the sounder, which I think were golden's but couldn't get them to bite. The wind change didn't help either. If the weather held I think we would have got more. Getting more settled weather and the temp not too hot and I believe up there will fire up.
Hey Peter awesome video mate. Bought some of those obsession spinnerbaits when I first started watching your videos and they are my go to for any trip. First day trying them out caught my first Saratoga and 15 bass at bourumba. Keep up the good work and tight lines.
Thanks for the message Peter. Great to hear that the Obsession Spinnerbaits have done the job for you. I have just ordered some new colours which I will start using shortly. Just need this wind to bugger off. Sounds like you have Borumba wired, that is somewhere I want to get to this spring, such a beautiful dam.
hey peter depends how far you can get up in somerset but give a jackall squirl a go and jerk it on the edges of lilly pads the smaller sized squirls are the best
Hi Sel, you can find the AccuMat at www.softgaff.com. They are not cheap, but I have found them to be one of the best I have used. There is an app logging system too if that is something you like. The net is a Wilson medium fish friendly net.
I like going right up the top, so much more fun when some there is some structure around. Nice video

Haha yeah once the water warms up do you think it will fire up more?
I leave the pots overnight which helps a lot I think

Sounds good, best part about there is that it's away from the jetski's and wake boats too lol
@@Lure_Loser thumbs up to that

Will give it a try. Love it up there, just wish the fishing was a bit more consistent. But cant complain when there are goldens that big around.
@@PTPFishing yeah definetly and jerkbaiting tends to get the giant bass in the dam
