Hi Ked, we love your reviews. We stayed at Pixar Place last week, and I felt like it was worth it. I agree that the elevators are a challenge. A cast member told us that the weird system with no floor buttons in the elevators was part of the hotel when Disney purchased the hotel. Also, we tried Great Maple, inspired by your review, and we loved it! I had the fried chicken with maple donuts. It was fantastic and made for excellent leftovers. Thanks for this video!
As of now (October 2024), it is not. There are still incomplete floors (upper ones). I asked when they would be done, and the cast member didn’t know. Thanks @eliassmeke3991!
I wnet to Disneyland in the Spring and stayed at the new DVC Tower. That was worth every penny. Pixar hotel was originally built by a Japanese corporation and was refurbished twice by Disney when they purchased it two decades ago. Because, it was not built by Disney I feel the majority of the magic is not there. However, the Disney price is. My recommendation, is to spend your money in better hotels, including the ones outside the Disney bubble. Pixar Hotel is no different than putting lipstick on a 🐷
@@TheMouseScout My recommendation is the Garden Suite rooms. That's where I stayed. It is isolated and you have a great view of the pool from your extended balcony. Make sure to do a video of your stay there. There are not that many videos of the DVC tower after the grand opening last fall.
I knew that this was a suck up to corporate disney review when you said it was a "short walk" to Disneyland! Considering its location it's a LONG walk! Especially for the money charged when there are BETTER & CHEAPER places RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! I stopped the video at that point because it was worthless after that initial LIE!
@@minems1894 Not really. I've stayed at all 3 hotels. Also, corporate disney is on to that "trick" or "shortcut". They screen people who use that passage that aren't staying at the Grand. You may get through sometimes but not all the time, then you've doubled your walk.
thanks for the review.. looking at staying here with the kids when we fly over from australia and this looks perfect
Ked, you always have the best Disney hotel reviews!
Aww! Thanks @CharmingSamRay. :) You ARE charming.
@@CharmingSamRay I agree, I wish she would do more.

Thanks so much @markj5703! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Because it IS a nice hotel, my problem is the price. I'm glad you liked Great Maple too!
Question 🙋♀️, is the Pixar Place Hotel fully completed ✔️?

Well the hotel 🏨 has to be fully complete then ok 👍 The Mouse Scout?
@@TheMouseScout Did you feel that the construction affected your experience at all?
Great episode!
I'm so glad you thought so! Thanks @markosbrutos7002!
I like 👍 the Pixar Place Hotel and it’s worth the price to stay here
Cool! I'm glad you liked it, really. I do like it too, just don't like the rates. Thanks @eliassmeke3991!!
Is this the old Paridice Pear Hotel???
Hi Steven! Yes, it is. Thanks for asking. Hope you are well!
@@TheMouseScout doing good
Pixar Piece Hotel opened earlier on January 30, 2024
Yeah, it took me so long to stay there. But finally got it in! Thanks again @eliassmeke3991.
i'd stay there once and only once just to say that i did. they missed a great opportunity to have a beautiful "value" resort.
I just wish it didn't cost so much, because it's a nice hotel. Thanks @MichaelYarbro-m9h!

Cool! Thank you. I'll request those rooms. They've intrigued me....!!

Actually it’s closer than the Disneyland hotel if you take the short cut thru the grand to get to downtown Disney.
