- In a massive setback for Ukraine, the Russian defence minister announced that the Russian forces had captured 400 sq kms of territory along the frontline near Avdiivka in 2024 till now. His announcement came as Russian defence ministry reported that over 300 Ukrainian troops were killed and 11 counter attacks were repelled in the past 24 hours near Avdiivka. Watch for more details.

The claim, that the Russian army has gained roughly 400 square km of Ukraine in this year, is probly a correct one. If the Russan army could continue at the same speed, it would have taken over whole Ukraine after 310 years from now. However, the U.S. Congress might very well acept the large support package to Ukraine worth of 60 billion dollars during the next two weeks. NATO might also promise to deliver military support worth of 100 bilion euros durng the next five years. If at least one of this two initiatives will be accepted, the Russian army would have a really high mountain to climb in it's attacking operations in Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine ! Glory to the heroes !
