Now thats an amazing idea. I dont think that i am talking only for my self here when i am saying that we definitaly want more of these type of videos. Maybe role play as a tank commander in an assault. You ve been producing some amazing content lately kudos to you man. Also something that i really miss from your videos is the part that you where showing the map before the start of the battle.I think it helps a lot to submerge us into the realistic aspect of the video so we know what it kinda looks like. For example in this video we could see the man in their posisions ready to fight for their lives. You know what i am talking about you are a veteran in these types of videos.
Crazy to think the Russians are still using the same tactics to this very day. Conscripts charging trenches. Still getting the same results in most cases.
Want to see more! the POv idea is great; or just play, sometimes, a character in a greater battle, to see the perspective of the incredibles shows you forging for us
And whoever was telling him to fire in short bursts is correct. More efficient. More shots would've hit their mark. Less time spent reloading. That's how the professionals are taught to do it.
@7:23 Notice the bullets clipping the tree! There is a very telling Mathew Brady photograph after the battle of Gettysburg. On the second day of the battle, the Confederate troops attacked Culp's hill. The Union defenders actually mowed down the trees in the front of their position to the lowest point of being able to aim their rifle and ordinance fire.
It’s really interesting to hear you talk about the cultural unity between Finland and Sweden. I consider myself to be an educated person but this area of the world is one that I think I know relatively little about. The Finnish and Swedish relationship is especially prescient today and your take helped me put it in a new perspective.
youtube made it so I wouldn't get any of your notifications... fucking updates. I like watching these play out... Keep it up dude, I think you're going on 9 years? cheers 🙌
This was a great POV video sir, have to guess you would have melted that maxim and likely needed to swap out the barrel by now 😂 and you must have an entire opal blitz supply truck stacked high with ammo cans but ir was awesome to watch. I read somewhere that a lot og Finns had ptsd from thr number of Russian they killed as they tried to human wave across the frozen fields. Thus video makes That seem possible. Realy exelent video id love to see more Pov's like this, maybe an AA gun or tank. Maybe a DSHK for a Russian MG post.
Sorry to be that guy but machine gunners in this sort of line defence had sectors that interlocked and they traversed left to right steadily and crossed fires so if one mg is taken out the area is still covered, not just randomly choosing areas. It avoids tunnel vision and being flanked and makes covered zones infantry wont enter. They would take this side on position though. Some of the machine gun positioning plans from ww1 are works of art. They even created empty dead end trenches poking out into no mans land with an mg at the end of it to tempt enemy infantry in. The british especially used maxims in indirect fire roles, firing from maybe 2km away barrel pointing into the air according to a range chart so it would spread bullets over a 'beaten zone' over their own soldiers heads.
You didn't show the number of kills :( Also, you shouldn't do russian mg vs german attack, but control an MG42 against an overwhelming infantry attack :D
Fun fact there has only been 2 democratic nations that have declared war on each other and that was Britain and Finland purely due to the fins alliance with the nazis
such a great idea, Id love to see more like that or a follow/control-one-soldier close up video in one of your epic battles!
Me too
Yes…a great change of pace!
Would love to see more of the single soldier role in upcoming videos!

Shame we didn’t see the kill count at the end but I’m thinking that one machine gun probably took out about 60-80 as a conservative estimate
About a same as the real numbers😅

@@calebballantine3402 with the same gun still 😂
@@calebballantine3402no one ever said that Russians are bright lol

This was really good! Love the perspective from a soldier's point of view. I would love to see more defensive point of view battles.
Manning a machine gun in a game:
It's nice when you do not have to worry about the barrel overheating or wearing out!
😂
Red Orchestra has these mechanics
And whoever was telling him to fire in short bursts is correct. More efficient. More shots would've hit their mark. Less time spent reloading.

We need life of a soldier series where you follow a soldier in a large battle and see how he does

diplex bouta be a voice actor in the next DLC
I like how excited you get for these battles lmao im the same way.
Soothing experience for us, terrifying experience for them
This is like your best video yet. So immersive.
Eino is like a magician, he keeps on reaching in the bottomless container of bullets and pulling out an endless supply of rabbits!
🐰🐰🐰😂😂😂
if this fact hasn't been stated already: some Swedish volunteers fought in the winter war along side the Finnish troops

Great video. Love from Canada!
This reminds me of the helicopter gunner in the film Full Metal Jacket. “Get some!”
What about a sniper direct control battle video? I think you can see through his scope in direct control, just like a FPS game.
this is really cool even that finns uniforms are not accurate
I wonder how many knuckles were mangled by those machine gun hammers
Short...controlled...bursts... XD
Can you always show the casualities in numbers at the end of your videos? That would be cool
5:54 lets build our dragons teeth tank defence from our menhir field.
Perfect ASMR for the weekend!
The Soviets adapted the Japanese offensive tactic of the Banzai charge.
Yup, perfect strat to put a dent in your manpower

Can I get this battle on the workshop?
2:00~4:43 good camera angle :))
And "FINNISH" the Job!

Rake, reload, repeat!!!
😂😂😂
How has that weapon not over heated
More mg povs
Not one single Russian sniper to take out that Maxim gunner? Guess they figured that out by Stalingrad.
Finland! FINland! FINLAND! FINLAND!
You didn't show the number of kills :(
Also, you shouldn't do russian mg vs german attack, but control an MG42 against an overwhelming infantry attack :D
No such thing as killing too many Soviet troops!
😁😅😂
More pls
Have you served in the military Diplexheated?
LOL, wrong game category 🙃
Fun fact there has only been 2 democratic nations that have declared war on each other and that was Britain and Finland purely due to the fins alliance with the nazis
how do you get ragdoll?
Are you following the machine gun or controlling it?
The AI isn't normally smooth, they stutter their movements, which raises my suspicions, but I'm not sure
Controlling it
You should do a Swedish military engagement, if possible! The immersion would be incredible.
how many kills?
Perfect🤗 😅💋
You didn't give us the kill count for the machine gun crew! :(
Must have been a complete Soviet regiment destroyed.
That was pretty lame 😔
Swear every video sounds like you’re saying “Diplexer here again”lmao
Cringe "war shouts" always have it on mute
