I might need to get this for my Dad. He was in the Army and was a UH-60B Blackhawk Crew chief in a Medevac unit stationed at Ft. Benning. He keeps me entertained with stories about his time there and all the incredibly talented pilots he flew with, as well as some of the missions he went on to bring injured people to the hospital. He’s also taught me a lot about pre-flighting aircraft and has taught me to always check everything, as well as to do routine servicing/cleaning after a certain amount of flights. One of the more interesting stories he’s told me is the time he went up on a test flight on a new helicopter. The pilot really put that thing through it’s paces, and my Dad sure found out that it could do some impressive maneuvers! Did you know, a Blackhawk can actually fly without a working tail rotor if it’s going over 60 Knots forward?

Actually EACHINE is just a rebrand of YXZNRC F09. There is a guy on rcgroups called "I am Fly Dragon" who has been active with questions. The battery is the number one complaint. Evidently some bad ones went out and they had one battery in the heli and there is a power leak when it is in. Supposedly the bad battery situation was corrected. Never leave the battery in the heli. It can cause an unsafe condition. The fact that you can't use regular LIPOs is a big complaint.

Brian - only watching the flight and not setup but it appears you are not flying in idle up mode - which could be the reason you have to keep using throttle to keep level. Idle up is a throttle curve that is a constant flat line or a mild V curve that keeps the rpms somewhat stable so you simply have to change the pitch. You also can adjust how fast this model flies by adjusting the cyclic pitch curves. These collective pitch helis are very adjustable for how you want them to fly.
yes, this may have been, but I believe it's more in the relatively low level gymbal for the collective, or just maybe not GREAT settings for the pitch and throttle curve.

Hey Brian, another great review. I love that chopper. Hey do you think you’ll review the Bitgo XFly J65? Can’t wait till you do because I know you’ll do a fantastic review!
Do not initially fly this inside as a 1st flight. I made that mistake 3 weeks ago. After an ER VISIT 9 stitches later after almost taking the tip of a finger off I’m still paying for my stupidity. You definitely need the space of the outdoors to get used to the controls.
Hello i have the eachine E 150 helicopter can i use his remote for the E200 ? 2 models on the same remote ? Sorry for my english . big Thanks for your answer bruno
The Heli is good but my opinion it’s overpriced fo the features maybe if will be with GPS module I can justify the cost for me this time Eachine with the price fail the FW200 it’s approx the same price but GPS RTH features can justify that I hope in the future will be cheap
Pretty cool Heli. Nice flying. I wish I had the nerve to try it. I actually purchased a Blade 120S and 230S a few years back. Both still in the box 😂🤷♂️. Haven’t gotten past the simulator. Nice video, as they all are.
I think you made the right decision. Get them out of the box and get SAFE turned on, and you'll KICK yourself for having waited so long!!!!!!! Do it ASAP - "Get to the Chopa" ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC I know of this guy that does UA-cam videos. He’s a great pilot with an awesome camera crew. I’m pretty sure he has reviewed this heli I mentioned. I need to watch it again and get my head around this.
Hey Brian and camera crew 😉 we got our Blackhawk but I noticed your controller it says model 3. Ours says model 0. Does this make a difference? And if so, how do we change it?
Follow this link... (From the video description) E200 bit.ly/3RemwEd Then you have to make sure you pick the "RTF" (Ready to fly)...............NOT the "BNF" (Bind and fly - this is what you got) Also, get it with as many batteries as you can. They're cheap in the package deal, and kinda weird too...so you'll have a harder time getting replacement parts on this type of heli. Another option might be to get an OpenTX transmitter, that he could pair to what he already got, but I can't help him setup that transmitter, so please accept my apologies for my inadequacy in this regard.
Great Video. I understand the 3d and 6G switch but what is the 5GH Switch Gyro for? Can fly very well also by strong winds, but have problems landing smoothly, it drops the last 50 cm . What is your settings by landing? Do I have to edit the throttle or pitch curve on the transmitter? Where can I find a better "how to" as the manual is really poor. Thanks a lot for your help Klaus from Austria
Setting the throttle and pitch curve is a super subjective matter, and I just fly it in the stock mode, and then if I spend a lot of time fighting that "middle spot" on the collective, I'll bump the throttle a few points either way, on each point till she's less touch. you can go to the lower rates too, but I didn't mess with that here. This is a legit Heli...but I'm not a great heli pilot - so this should explain the poor piloting ;)
The link in the video description will tell you the up to date price. The pricing changes all the time at Banggood, so even if I told you what I was quoted, you would probably be quoted a different price (I know...pretty annoying). E200 bit.ly/3RemwEd (Coupon: BGa7b42d - 10% off - 7/7-31/22...should be expired, but try it anyway) Also, make sure you get the heli with the most batteries, since they're cheap in the package deal. Awesome heli. I crashed mine being an idiot ;( I really liked this one too...but she is a great flying heli, just not when you turn her on her side - LOL (and cry too). Don't do that... You will love it!
so what is the diffrence between this eachine e200 and the YXZNRC F09? or are they the same exact helicopter but with diffrent brands. (so one of them is the a grade quality testing. and the other one the be grade quality testing?) or is the eachine e200 simply a knock-off version of the YXZNRC F09?
There is no such thing as a "Knock Off" in China. China doesn't really value copyrights, as a culture, and they steal ideas as part of their normal everyday process...BUT in this case, same factory, same stuff, different branding and distribution...so no, not a "Knock Off" - probably the one business went under, and the other bought it out, or some such thing. Chinese companies will change names all the time, to keep us guessing - LOL - similar to American companies with poor reputations, but they will do it when they have a GOOD reputation - I can't for the life of me, figure it out.
@@BrianPhillipsRC yeah someone else already confirmed that eachine just rebrands stuff. it's diffrent packaging so a cheaper option. and there might be some sort of quality control aswel.
Would you happen to have any rtf radios you could sell that are futaba protocol? I have a bunch of helis I’ve never flown that require futaba and I really can’t afford an expensive radio right now
We have tons of these RTF radios, but not sure I want to separate them from the heli's. Plus, I don't know enough about Futaba to do anything other than plop something in a box and ship it out. Email us about this, if you're serious. (See the ABOUT tab for the address - we are SLOW with replies on there, since we get a TON of spam - sorry in advance)
Totally get it James! Hope you can get there and get one soon!!! Have you considered the E120 - also super amazing, but way cheaper? ua-cam.com/video/7KaRzrFLyOk/v-deo.html
I admire your courage, because if this thing hits the ground, you will be picking up only pieces of it. This machine is very fragile and when the power goes very low it will fall to the ground like a brick.
yes, and mine is already in a pile of parts ;( So sad, but to be honest, I was screwing around and it was a well deserved crash due to terrible piloting ;(....but she was one of my favorite scale helis!!!
I have the Eachine 200 Blackhawk...I'm noticing that it's taking over 2 hours to charge it's battery...is this normal, and how long should it take...it came from the factory with 2 bars?
It takes a while, but that seems somewhat excessive. Do you have a NORMAL balance charger? You could take that goofy battery apart and charge with a "Normal" balance charger, if you wish.
Just check your cells, if you can....make sure there's NOT a huge disparity in Voltage between one cell and the next. If they're way out of wack, you might have a bad cell, or a bad charger, or a bad charge controller in the battery - all could lead to a FIRE, so please do figure this out ASAP. 4.20 VDC per cell at charge, and about 3.80 VDC per cell in "Storage" mode...but you might bring it down to as low as 2.90 VDC if you're flying to LVC....which is a bad idea, and might also cause the long charge cycles.
I disconnected the charger and then connected it and it worked fine now. Thanks....Quick question is it possible to charge the E200 Blackhawk batteries on the UH-60 Coast guard charger with the white balance box/module....and can you mix and match both batteries between the both helis?
I ordered mine on Amazon and it came not as described, mode 1 instead of mode 2. I cannot get the settings on the radio to work at all and am trying to make an A to Z claim on Amazon I am so dissapointed. Any ideas how to set up?
I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience, but ironically, we linked to another company...but since we DO have a master link to Amazon. If you can't settle the issues, there's the possibility of just installing another SBUS Rx (Micro Rx) into the onboard controller, and you can use a Spektrum Tx, or Futaba Tx, OR you should be able to bind her right up to an OPEN TX transmitter, then you can change from Mode 1 to Mode 2 in no time. Unfortunately, I killed my beloved E200 - one of my favorite helis, and I crashed her ;(...
Sorry to hear about the crash. The oddest thing too is it seems to have come misprogrammed or maybe even used off of Amazon...when I move the elevator stick back and forth the heli goes right and left and vice versa - like the mixing is all messed up. The transmitter also came set up with 90 degree swash but the heli manual said 120 degree mixing? If you could share what your tra smitter setting are that would be great thanks.

it takes time to learn to fly....fly with someone who can assist you...buddy box two transmitters so teacher can take control when needed....crashing and breaking while learning is a bummer and expensive.....but if you don't fly regularly you won't learn how to not crash.....eflite sports cub S is small , light weight , can fly slow or fast and has ability to fly level to ground if you freak out...just pull throttle stick to no power and it will glide to the ground.....just don't land in the trees !!!.....and get some help learning if you really know nothing about flying rc planes and save money and disappointment.
so. what is the cheapest 3d helicopter someone can get that has never flown a 3d helicopter before. that isn't crap. (just found one for 120 bucks but it has a tiny little brass gear driving a big plastic gear wich drives the propellors. so that's crap.
i'm buying XK K124 2.4G 6CH Brushless EC145 from banggood. it has the same downside of using a little gear. against a plastic gear (instead of a belt or direct drive) it also has the little plastic gear. but comes with a spare and somehow i feel it's less of an issue with this one. (rather then the XK K110S)
i have no idea why my first comment got removed. if it's because of the name of the helicopter then i no longer want to defile my computer with youtube's snoflakeness.
reposting the comment with some edits. on bg it seems to be ALZRC de-vil X380 FBL 6CH 3D but maybe one of you guys knows a better place that also delivers to europe. that sells more helicopters if this comment now stays. then it was the de-vil name without a dash in it that made youtube remove the comment. wich is absolutely sickening
i own a flysky fs-i6 x controller. bought it long ago to be able to fly some simulators. watching some video's on it now. it's not a bad little controller is it?
Have you priced other heli's lately. This is pretty much the going rate for full functioning direct drive heli's these days...yes, they are ALL expensive, but this one is no more "over-priced" than the other "over-priced" heli's in my opinion. I miss $2/gal gas - don't you?
@@BrianPhillipsRC no doubt prices increased lately. Totally with you there. I own several Eachine planes and helis but in the end they often don't have the overall quality of a big brand manufacturer. Setting a price at 500 bucks for a small scale heli means that they're competing with the big brands. Most small scale helis are around 150 bucks these days. The Tx is better than the crappy basic RTF they normaly pack. But it's certainly not comparable to a Flysky or Spectrum in the range of 350 bucks. Don't get me wrong, this thing is awesome and looks totally realistic. I'd like to have one but imho this time Eachine did go to far for what they're selling.
Dude Im going to be honest, Ive watched a few of your videos and I have to say that, when we take in a detail oriented hobby we know that theres going to be a lot of hanging out by ourselves to make it happen but, your videos are annoyingly long and while informative, not conducive to picking up subscribers. Just a thought.
I don't disagree, but gotta admit, it's extremely hard to be brief when details really matter. Sometimes serving a hobby is worth more than entertainment value, in order to gain subscribers. So many people need help, and we deliver...but we certainly aren't saying it's for everyone.

Hey Brian, I've watched so many of you videos and appreciate the time and effort you put in explaining and detailing things we wouldn't ever know unless many hours of trial and errors were spent....thank you!
My question regarding the Eachine E200 is....how do you get the batteries into storage mode with the charger it comes with? Perhaps I'm missing something?
You just fly them and then don't charge, is the best way.
P.S. I just crashed mine ;(.... I took apart the 437 screws, and it was quite an amazing crash (off camera, unfortunately - me and my friend Esteban were flying tonight....and I CAN NOT BELIEVE how well it fared, but it's still down for the count till I get two servo linkages, and a new rotor head, and at least one blade linkage...rest was very minor interior damage to screw mounts. But it was BAAAAD...down the the ground sideways...and BOUNCE...on hard shoulder. Should have been in 150 pieces, but I only really LOST one windshield wiper blade. Sucks to make such a dumb mistake, but I was trying to make it do a barrel roll, and heli's are HARD to roll length wise...and I just screwed up and didn't get it BACK out of 3D mode in time...anyway, say a prayer for me ;) LOL Thanks Paul!
wow.... you get to keep all your RC stuff in LIving area !!!....luv the videos....great camera work too....your friendly attitudes and excitement...nice nails birthing person !!!!!
Update is coming on where we keep the planes ;) Keep an eye out!!!
Hey Brian, another great review. I love that chopper. Hey do you think you’ll review the Bitgo XFly J65? Can’t wait till you do because I know you’ll do a fantastic review!
yes. we have it on the way, but not sure when it'll be here...sorry for the delay. I'm SUPER excited about that plane too!
Super video And super helicopter
Thanks, and 100% Agree!!! We need MORE like this. Scale AND capable!!!
Bonne video mais je n'ai pas compris les fonctions des 4 boutons de la télécommande. Pouvez vous expliquez exactement 😊
Do not initially fly this inside as a 1st flight. I made that mistake 3 weeks ago. After an ER VISIT 9 stitches later after almost taking the tip of a finger off I’m still paying for my stupidity. You definitely need the space of the outdoors to get used to the controls.
Ouch!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Live & learn. I should’ve known better..
@@tjinytjiny6615Don’t know why this heli is marketed for newbies because it really isn’t. Sim time and a fixed pitch heli would be a better plan.
Last nature walk was with the 150 Smart
Oooohhh.... If I could only have those toys... 😐
They are very fun!!!
Hello i have the eachine E 150 helicopter can i use his remote for the E200 ? 2 models on the same remote ? Sorry for my english . big Thanks for your answer bruno
Black Hawk Down
Play that with an rc humvee !
We never got the RC Humvee much to our chagrin.
#724 - 18/1/2023 - i like your collection , awesome 👍
NIIICE 🔥 Looks very cool 😎 Seems to fly pretty well also 👍✌️
I purchased this model for my father. It didn’t come with a remote controller or transmitter. Do you have a link where I can purchase it?
Follow this link... (From the video description)
E200 bit.ly/3RemwEd
Then you have to make sure you pick the "RTF" (Ready to fly)...............NOT the "BNF" (Bind and fly - this is what you got)
Also, get it with as many batteries as you can.
Boa tarde Brian esta chegando o meu obaaaa very very beautiful...
Have you flown the E 200 Pro yet ? just want to know the difference Thanks for vid
I have a drone but thinking of heli, thinking under 1000.00 complete heli, charge battery's and fly...keep it up, your doing good 👍☕️☕️✌️
Great Video.
Hey Thanks hey brain what's the price on this one
The link in the video description will tell you the up to date price. The pricing changes all the time at Banggood, so even if I told you what I was quoted, you would probably be quoted a different price (I know...pretty annoying).
E200 bit.ly/3RemwEd (Coupon: BGa7b42d - 10% off - 7/7-31/22...should be expired, but try it anyway)
Also, make sure you get the heli with the most batteries, since they're cheap in the package deal.
(so one of them is the a grade quality testing. and the other one the be grade quality testing?)
or is the eachine e200 simply a knock-off version of the YXZNRC F09?
There is no such thing as a "Knock Off" in China. China doesn't really value copyrights, as a culture, and they steal ideas as part of their normal everyday process...BUT in this case, same factory, same stuff, different branding and distribution...so no, not a "Knock Off" - probably the one business went under, and the other bought it out, or some such thing. Chinese companies will change names all the time, to keep us guessing - LOL - similar to American companies with poor reputations, but they will do it when they have a GOOD reputation - I can't for the life of me, figure it out.
@@BrianPhillipsRC
yeah someone else already confirmed that eachine just rebrands stuff.
it's diffrent packaging so a cheaper option.
and there might be some sort of quality control aswel.
What is the difference between this one and the yu Xiang one? Or are they the same? Thnks.
Realy nice, l like
I want one just can't afford one right now
Totally get it James! Hope you can get there and get one soon!!!
Have you considered the E120 - also super amazing, but way cheaper? ua-cam.com/video/7KaRzrFLyOk/v-deo.html

A calibrated wind sock ?? sounds expensive. 😂
It's just made of the same fabric as my para glider. They're a great value, but using essentially recycled materials from a "timed out" para glider.
Sweet helli
I admire your courage, because if this thing hits the ground, you will be picking up only pieces of it. This machine is very fragile and when the power goes very low it will fall to the ground like a brick.
yes, and mine is already in a pile of parts ;( So sad, but to be honest, I was screwing around and it was a well deserved crash due to terrible piloting ;(....but she was one of my favorite scale helis!!!
What does rather channels do to the machine??
Sorry John, I don't understand your quesiton. Can you try asking again?
Is it supposed to be 90 degree or 120 degree swashplate? Radio setting out of the box and heli manual contradicting each other
I'm very sorry, but don't know how to answer this quesiton Christopher. I'm not as well versed as I'd like to be in this arena.
@@BrianPhillipsRC Not to worry. These little scale helis are cutting edge RC but they fly over my head sometimes quite literally and figuratively! Thanks for all the awesome work you do with RC.

Can i use the e120 remote for e200?
I don't know...but doubt it.

This heli is amazing, but wish it was bigger for this price point too...however, I can say from quite a bit of experience, that while this heli is expensive, it's not over-priced, at least in terms of comparison to competitive offerings.
Wish I would get this body on an E110 size heli!!!! That would be AMAZING!
I think im gonna quit this hobby, its not for me. Its soo hard to control the arrows rc plane and I thought it was supposed to be easy. Maybe i just bought the wrong plane or is it just me?
What arrows plane did you buy? Mine have all been great, some are more appropriate for beginners than others.

I started with the little Amazon rc planes like the t28. I used beginner mode for a couple months then intermediate for a couple more. I now fly 3d on my timber x 1.2m and always have my finger on the safe switch! The more you fly and crash the less crashing you'll do over time. Super fun hobby!!!
it takes time to learn to fly....fly with someone who can assist you...buddy box two transmitters so teacher can take control when needed....crashing and breaking while learning is a bummer and expensive.....but if you don't fly regularly you won't learn how to not crash.....eflite sports cub S is small , light weight , can fly slow or fast and has ability to fly level to ground if you freak out...just pull throttle stick to no power and it will glide to the ground.....just don't land in the trees !!!.....and get some help learning if you really know nothing about flying rc planes and save money and disappointment.

It's less than it WAS ;)
Tail noise is not good
so. what is the cheapest 3d helicopter someone can get that has never flown a 3d helicopter before. that isn't crap. (just found one for 120 bucks but it has a tiny little brass gear driving a big plastic gear wich drives the propellors. so that's crap.
i'm buying XK K124 2.4G 6CH Brushless EC145 from banggood.
it has the same downside of using a little gear. against a plastic gear (instead of a belt or direct drive)
it also has the little plastic gear. but comes with a spare and somehow i feel it's less of an issue with this one. (rather then the XK K110S)
i have no idea why my first comment got removed. if it's because of the name of the helicopter then i no longer want to defile my computer with youtube's snoflakeness.
reposting the comment with some edits.
on bg it seems to be ALZRC de-vil X380 FBL 6CH 3D
but maybe one of you guys knows a better place that also delivers to europe.

A lot of people. I crashed mine almost right away, like a complete idiot...I almost cried a little ;(...
Jesus, this thing is overpriced. 500 Bucks for a small scale Heli? For that amount of money I could buy a T-Rex if I wanted to.
But we know It is you crange every single time
