People always a think that Vegas is a place for summer, but there's so many fun things to do during the winter and the holidays. Las Vegas is becoming the new New York for Christmas. Everything gets decorated with twinkle lights. So today I am taking you to an ice skating rink on Las Vegas Blvd, Enchant at Resorts World, a classic light up display with a chocolate treat at Ethel M Chocolates and Botanical Gardens, Snow Carnival and my favorite garden in the whole city. I hope you guessed them right. We're going to The Ice Rink at the Cosmopolitan, Enchant, Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Gardens, Snow Carnival at M Resort, and the Bellagio Conservatory. Dress Warmly!!

I really enjoyed the Santa Train and the tube slide at the Snow Carnival! I almost felt like I was back in Michigan! 😂

What part of Michigan Lydia? I'm in Cleveland and my mom and sister just moved up there about 8 months ago and they LOVE IT. They live in the upper peninsula in the city Curtis.

I would rather have the "Cold" days in Las Vegas than the bleak, raw, raining, freezing hideousness in CT. So depressing!
Its isn't the cold or hot days that suck in las vegas it is the windy days that annoyed me.

We moved from Connecticut to Las Vegas 5 years ago. Two months before we moved a Nor’easter dumped 22” of snow on our driveway. I’m out there 3 times with the snowblower. The wind is whipping the snow back in my face and I’m thinking I’ve had enough of this noise. As one of our Las Vegas neighbors phrased it, “You don’t have to shovel sunshine.”

tell me about it. I'd rather Vegas' "hot" days (110+) too, over the 90's with 90% humidity that makes Boston unbearable in the summer. We are lucky to get a few nice weeks in the spring and a month or so in the fall. Other than that, the weather sucks in New England and I can't wait to move to Vegas when I retire, in 20 years lol. For now, I'll keep visiting twice a year.

I just walked through the Bellagio with my friends tonight, and it was beautiful! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Vegas - just keep in mind that it will likely be packed.

Everything looks so beautiful!!! I think the Snow Carnival would be my favorite place, with the real snow and all the fun things to do. We just finished a visit and went to the Cosmo Chalet & Ice Rink because it looked like fun. It was! We would totally do that again and the girls on stilts gave us Santa hats, too! Thanks for the suggestions (and also the reminders to dress warm). We probably would have underestimated the cold had it not been for your reminders. Cheers!

I go to Vegas every Christmas from Winnipeg Canada. I always find it funny to spot the Canadians. The Vegas locals will be bundled into parkas and toques and the Canadians will be in a hoodie or a t shirt 🤪 cold is definitely relative

I took my youngest son skating there before he was only 7 back then now he is 12 yr old he’s a good skater also plays in hockey, he just had a tournament over the weekend I am so happy for my son

When I was a child over 60 years ago (yup - I’m anO.G. … Old Guy) I was in Las Vegas with my parents in November and we got a light dusting of snow. Of course Vegas was very different back then. Most of the hotels & casinos on the strip weren’t there and several that were there are no more.

I was able to check out the conservatory at the Bellagio and it was really nice. I also found the Jack Daniels display by Cesar's Palace during my stay in Vegas. I wish I had more time in Vegas, so I will have to go back out again soon.
Fat Choy's has the best pork belly grilled cheese sandwich ever. That is definitely the number one sandwich in town in case you make a video about best sandwiches in Vegas.

I am doing my 'good karma' thing and letting everyone that is looking to get a very very great deal TODAY (Cyber Monday). I am seeing various STRIP hotels for 10.00 and 11.00 a night (this will not happen again for the next year unless you get full comps for spending a lot of $$$. You do have to add in the resort fees but you are still going to come in at around 50.00/night TOTAL. Additionally, I live in California and I found airfares for 24.00/each way. Now is the time if you were contemplating a quick visit in the next few weeks (make sure you are gone a week before Christmas to avoid the huge crowds and surge pricing on everything. I really enjoyed this holiday video! I liked the real snow at the Snow Carnival. It looked like you and Lydia were having a blast. I live in Orlando and at the Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom they blow soap suds over Main Street USA to pass for snow. It's just not the same.
