You can put a wooden board on top of the hole and make it walkable. Do note enemy could also walk through it. And Boulder could destroy the wooden board

@@lynling7830 That's the crux of the issue. HG is clearly desperate in trying to justify their refusal of implementing a sweep feature with these kinds of shenanigans. First we had to contend with SN's evasion shenanigans that people without good silence options get their auto deploy dabbed on by that one enemy, now we have civilians left and right getting slung in for practically no reason other than a bother. At least the one we have currently in siracusano doesn't penalize us and are just there for gimmick sake, with penalty being us having to contend with an uber mob. Civilians that actively take life points away but seemingly done to "rush" players to clear a stage based on a dedicated stage tempo by the devs is a chore. It was a weird but passable addition in Talulah's chapter given the clear cut nature of it, but now we have literal 5Head pepega civilians regardless of the context.... It's a regression no matter how we spin it.

Here you are not tailing anyone, you're protecting people, it's like having a walking bluebox. You'll meed more tactics and brainpower for this than any escort mission I've ever seen in other games where you just run circles around them and spam the attack button if needed. How is it not unique? It forces you to approach a stage differently than normal, and I've never seen another game implement a mechanic that is quite comparable to this. Edit: after reading the other comments in this chain. Maybe you just need the concept to sink in a little? You feel more emotional than I'd expect anyone to be upon seeing this mechanic. Would be nice to have a sweep feature for faster grinding, but that has little to nothing to do with this mechanic tbh. It's like blaming the blacksmith for the lack of croissants in the bakery.

I mean, for how political stuff can get in arknights at times, a boss whose entire gimmick is "killing you" (more exactly, making you fail your objective) by controlling people you're supposed to save, while looking like someone non-menacing they could trust, is 100% on point. The mechanic itself, however, seems like agony.
