So glad we got out for this. I had a blast and from the looks of it so far, i think people can tell. Always appreciate you and let’s get more of these going as soon as my hand heals up ⬆️
Sick vid! Must’ve been a ton of work pulling audio from all the different cameras - sounded awesome the whole time and made it way more fun to watch being able to hear your banter. Felt like I learned a lot seeing Spencer’s line choices too. More vids like this!
Glad you liked it! All the audio cam from dedicated mics. It’s a little extra work to sync the audio with the video clips but not too bad because you end up mixing just two audio channels throughout the whole video (aside from music). And I agree, it makes the final product way better when the sound is clean
This is a great video and you guys were killing it. I always love riding with people that are better than me, because it pushes my limits and makes me better. I also learn from watching how a better rider attacks a trail. I see new ways of riding, and lines i would never have thought of riding.
Random YT suggestion gold right here! Subbed to both of you. Follow-cam was wild and it was great to see both of your run's POV. Spencer's immediate answer regarding his EWS experience was perfect. I hope you two do more of these!
The carbon would save you a little bit of weight. Carbon usually has a stiffer ride feel. I believe the previous generation alloy frames didn’t have a swat box. (I could be wrong about that.) It’s also worth noting that the 2021 stumpy got a pretty significant redesign. I’m going off of memory here but I also think the new stumpy carbon frames (regular stumpy, not the evo) don’t have a Horst pivot in the rear triangle whereas the alloy does so I’m sure there’s a different ride quality there as well.
Love this video! I just hate the fact that people still hide/not share trail infos, it is for everyone to use, hence public land. Let other people enjoy new trails. ✌️
I really would like to see the difference on a trail that is actually not just a singletrail that is easily rideable with a xc-bike. Something where the skill is better shown. But I have to admit that the view is nice there
these trails aren’t rocky but they’re much steeper than they look on go pro. Sometimes surpassing 30-35mph. Would love to see someone keep up on an XC bike. I hear what you’re saying though, we’ll have to do it again on a trail that has more chunk.
I haven’t meant that you could keep up with a xc-bike. I just meant that you could do that. The biggest differences between normal and fast riders to really fast riders is in the natural chunky technical stuff. This is the best terrain in my opinion for an enduro these days
This is how you become a pro level rider, you push the trail to its limits. You don't do that w/o riding the trail often and progressing and finding lines and transitions. Also, if you want to be a better rider, check your ego and ride with others who are better than you. It's easy to be a big fish in a small pond. Great content and riding. Gonna ride right now! Riding a "cream horse" sounds like a line line from a porn video. Is bike porn a fetish???
Good points....the biggest advantage of riding with faster riders is following someone riding a section at a speed you'd never think you could do. Overcoming the fear of going past your comfort level is as important as developing the physical skills. If you want to soar with eagles, you can't flock with turkeys.
@@ShreddingSpree thanks! im riding s3 as well and i stand at 5’8. Bike feels big but planted on descent. Looks fun how you guys play around with your bikes, great riding 🙌

For sure man. You got your three crashes out of the way so we’ll team up for another one soon.
GWS brohh💪
Do you ride your stumpy evo or the enduro on the ews circuit?
@@jymtb enduro strictly. For some tame-ish local races I’ll race the Evo
Yeah boy! Hope all is rad.
Love it. Total blitz on the fun scale. Party on ! 😂

That looks like so much fun! Great job with the audio sync up. I play a bit with audio, but wow you did a great job!
Ya that was freakin sick guys! Would definitely love to see you guys do A LOT more of these collaborations. Heal up quik SR
Thanks dude! I will asap!
I watched this in slow mo and he’s so smooth and relaxed. Really cool to watch slowed down.
Eyy! Thanks so much!
Your first follow cam attempt, really!? This was great. Excellent riding, photage, dialog, … Please do more like this.
I concur!!! Great audio between both make the whole conversation easy to track and definitely was fun to watch.
Glad you liked it!
Awesome. I really enjoy both of your guys’ channels 🤙
Thank you!
wow! really good footage man. was so nice to hear both riders and get awesome action shots of both.

Sick vibes, just some bros riding bikes, this it what it’s all about, y’all were cookin 🤙🏼🤙🏼
The best days!
Love this video and your right trail memory is so big and important Imo separating pro from cat 1
Agreed, bikes are definitely cool. :)
Amazing video ❤
This looks like such a fun day!
Can’t go wrong with good trails and good company!
Parts of those trails looked like you were riding through the Windows XP wallpaper. Pretty sick!
Haha totally. We typically only get a couple months of green here in so cal but this season has definitely brought some next level growth.
@@ShreddingSpree gorgeous trail excellent riding
Awesome!
Hhahahah!!!! That was fun to watch!
Nice work! 💨
Wow! What a fantastic trail. Where is this? That looks like a dream, just endless ribbons of DH dirt. Fuck pedaling 😅
These trails are in the Los Angeles County area
great vid, the river moment was awesome true bro shit
Gotta make sure you don’t do that to the wrong guy 😂😂
Stumpjumper evo gang 🔥
🤜🏻🤛🏻
Nice duo 💪
I have a 2020 Stumpjumper Comp Alloy, what advantage would the carbon version have over my alloy?

Thank you! Cheers!
Where is this? Trails look awesome.
They’re in the Los Angeles County area. If you ever take a trip down here I’d be happy to show you around.
@@ShreddingSpree I thought it looked like CA. But I was like, it’s too green! 😂
@@B1KER haha. Totally. We’ll have the green for another few weeks then its back to the dry wasteland.
Santa Clarita is one of the very few things I miss about California lol
It’s not too shabby!

Thanks for the good vibes. I agree with your sentiment about public trails. But these ones aren’t public or even legal. 🍻
@@ShreddingSpree oh gotcha!! Then it’s understandable. My fault!! Happy shredding brother🤙🏼🤙🏼

How tall are you guys? Saying you are both on s3’s. I’m in between sizes at 5’10 tops.
I’m 5’10 and Spencer is 6’…
Right @spencerrathkamp?
