This feels like instead of giving up and dying, all the anger builds up and you finally fight back, giving it all you have until you get worn out, torn to bits by your own rage, won the fight against them but you didn't realise until the last moment that you've lost the battle against yourself.
Giving up is never the answer. It never helps nor it does anything for you. No matter how hard or how bad things get, we must keep going and keep fighting for what we want. We should also keep moving forward and fighting for the sake of living instead of being sorry. Look at guts from beserk for example. He may have lost his arm and other things but no matter how bad things got, he still kept going and being strong. We must keep being strong and fight for what we want in our lives and achieve the things that we wanna do in life and things that will make us happy. Never give up buddy. It never helps. We gotta keep moving forward and keep on fighting for the sake of living.

It is an impressive effect, I must say, to make the music itself feel like it's in pain. I've heard it a couple times before. A few songs from the original "IN MY HEAD" capture it, but it feels much more anxious; pain, yes, but a creeping one, conveying more of a volatile panic. The song "TORTURE" by HEALTH also has a similar feeling, but much more melancholic, as if the strings have been stretched to a breaking point and finally, resignedly, given up. This one is unique among the others because it sounds like it hates me. It sounds like every neuron in my entire body screaming with the pain of a thousand burning needles, like the song has gone through an eternity of furious torment before reaching my ears. To me, this song conveys only one emotion: Agony.

So in my opinion:
Original - You died, You've failed your mission and cause. In these last moments you attempt to find peace of mind in what you have accomplished and the people you've made friends with. Meeting a peaceful end
Second ver - You came so close.. it feels like victory was an inch out of your grasp but snatched away from you at the last moments, It hurts. It hurts so badly.. you dont want to die you're begging not to die but ultimately there is no point resisting your painful cold end
Third ver - You haven't died, Only who you once were has died. You escaped true death's clutches and now are left abandoned and alone. Filled with hate and spite towards all that caused your demise you seek the ultimate revenge.

Hate to be that guy, but that isn't exactly how it works. It actually really helps to slow down and try to understand exactly why you feel "like this". Thats the purpose that negative emotions serve, they are there to help you take care of problems. Just know that they aren't always the best at doing their job. It can take a bit of learning to really understand that. Sorry, excuse my rambling.

This sounds like I defeated the villain but through my hatred I became something far worse than whatever I was fighting in the first place.

To still be here, even when the world fades to darkness, alone with nothing but the void to keep my company. Billions have died in my arms, and so will trillions more. I suffer every second of my existence so that humanity does not have to, to let them rest after toiling so desperately to survive in a cruel and unforgiving world. Please understand: I am your final blessing. Your Gabriel has arrived, and he comes in dressed in skulls and bones".
Sounds like at first you think the boss is defeated but then the health bar starts to regenerate...and you realize you wont be winning after all.
Here's my interpretation:
For the first 8 seconds you think you'll have died with honor, and you're okay with how its ending. It's almost sundown, and you'll die facing the sunset.
For the next 30 seconds you slowly realize that you've been robbed of that honor, and of peace. You begin to piece together just what has happened to you. You were lied to. You were told that your sacrifice would ensure the safety of those you hold dear.
At the 0:43 second mark, when the first horns sound, everything you've been thinking about has begun to sink in. You think to yourself, "Dear god, it's almost sundown, they'll never see them coming". You begin to fear what lies ahead, and feel the dread of your inability to stop it once your fatal injuries claim you.
0:53 You try using everything left inside you to move your dying body by the time the second horns sound. It terrifies you more.
1:04 When the third horns sound, the pain of trying to move becomes almost overwhelming and you can only move your face and fingers. "It'll be too late.", "I can't move my legs", "I have to get to them first", "My wounds are too deep", "Those bastards will pay with their lives", "I've lost too much blood". 4:03 Of course, being the dickheads they are, they don't want to give you time to think and charge right at you. Doesn't do them any good as you've already thought plenty on the way. Your heart pumps faster and faster the closer they get, your excitement for their extermination rising along with it. Your memories of their crimes committed unto you are played back, your bloodlust becoming more visible to them as they approach.
4:25 The perspective fades over to your loved ones. They have no idea what is happening, mere miles away. Time is moving slow. Their innocence and ignorance to the bloodshed made clear to all who see them play and laugh. They will spend their night blissfully unaware of the massacre that is taking place. But they will find out. They will see the horrors you've monstrously painted on the ground. Enough blood and bones to put even the vast oceans to shame. They will know it was you. And that will be the last thing they will ever remember you by.

If I ever learnt how to make a rpg game, I would use almost every ost from both vivivivivi and TeeVee of IN MY HEAD.
The game would also be called IN MY HEAD in full caps, and it'll be about about a boy who gets addicted to his dreams, to the points he'd kill himself just to dream forever.
His dreams would be exactly what he wished for, and everytime, it would be lucid dreams.
He would be obsessed with power and control of his own world, and there would be some endings following "credits song for my death" with the original, and the 3 covers of this.
There will be 4 endings.
The original would be the neutral ending, where he unexpectedly dies while dreaming. Since it was a lucid dream, he decided to stay forever and never wake up. He's alive, just...feels dead.
And so, he remains in his bed, only able to move, but never woke up.
The first remix/cover of this from TeeVee would be the secret ending. I actually have 2 ideas with this, and I'll need votes in the replies.
idea 1: It's where he lives on, and just decides to dream whenever he can. He knows he'll die soon anyways, so he'll better live for as long as he can.
So, he never dies, but his wicked obsession remains forever, even after natural death.
idea 2: He just goes insane with guilty thoughts, and becomes 2 sided. He wants to die to dream forever, but his family will be sad if he does die.
But they can't be sad if they're dead, right? Why can only *he* experience such an awesome dream? *Why not bring his family with him?*
The second remix/cover of this would be the good ending. It's not good for you, but it's good for him. He dies. He hangs himself in the bathroom and closes his eyes quickly, dying as he peacefully dreams while slowly, slowly dying.
And at the end of the distorted sound is his mother calling out to him, and then entering. She just looks at him with wide eyes, feeling guilty that she could not help him.
She can't believe he's actually dead, and so...She calls out to him, as her screams get more distorted. It's the good ending for him, because he can finally dream forever now.
The third remix/cover of this would be the bad ending.
The chair is ready, and so is the rope. He kicks down, but at that very moment, his mother comes in and screams. His mother rushes in, trying to set him free.
He feels suddenly very guilty, and his senses come back to him. Was he seriously going to die to have a never ending experience he already had in real life?
No, he can't. He tries to let go, but his mother trying to help him is making it difficult. His mother rushes to call someone, but she shouldn't have left him alone.
He doesn't feel guilty anymore, but his senses are there. He's fighting. He's fighting for himself. He wants to die, but live. He can't give in to death, nor can he fight it.
Whatever it is, his senses and obsessions are switching. One moment, he wants to die, the other, he wants to live.
But before he can make his decision, he passes out, forever to be feeling two sided. Forever. He can dream now, but he has to live with regret as well.
Okay, nevermind, for the secret ending, it'll be where it's a fight between yourself. Remember how in the third ending I said the main character is switching from wanting to dream forever and living?
The Secret Ending will be the True Ending. It's where you can choose to dream forever or live on.
But no matter what you do, you'll be two sided. Forever.
You can dream at night, and live at day. But whatever you'll still be sad.
There will be times that you're happy, and times where you'll sad.
There will be times that you're feeling negativity, and where you'll feel positivity.
But your senses and your obsession still switches.
At times you want to die. At other times, you want to live.
You don't want to miss out.
You're afraid of what will happen after your death. What if you won't be able to dream forever?
And so, you decide...
To dream forever, and live forever.
(The secret ending is honestly my own perspective of life. I can't always be happy, and I'll have to deal with it.
And yes, even though I want to die for even the stupidest reasons sometimes, I know that there's still a lot to do.
Yeah, we might want to die earlier because we're just that fed up with everything.
But death comes no matter what. It's best to live while you still can.
One day, I was feeling very suicidal, and wanted to kill myself so badly, I started chocking my self with my bare hands and wouldn't stop.
Until my senses came back to me and I let go of my neck. The next day, I was having such a great time I wanted it to last forever.
Imagine if I had killed myself back there, I wouldn't have been able to experience that moment.
That's why, this secret ending is the True Ending. Because it's the truth.
You shouldn't give up because things are going bad, just carry on. It's hard, yeah, but there are some moments which can make you smile.)

-The first one sounded like you sacrificed yourself for the ones that you love, saving everyone but yourself in the end. Dying happily knowing everyone is safe. You we're glad you saved them in the end, that was your focus, not your own life.
-The second one sounds like you sacrificed yourself, for the ones that you love, knowing that you would possibly die but you don't! You turn to get congratulated, to find everyone dead around you. You were so blinded in getting rid of the thing that could hurt everyone the most, you didn't try to get them to safety first.
-THIS ONE SOUNDS LIKE INSANITY. You're stuck in a time loop, doing things over and over and over and over again. Getting both good and bad outcomes, but opening your eyes to the same fate at the end of the day. You can't break free. You're stuck fighting, no matter if you win or lose. Again and again, you fight.

I like the dark, gloomy, and over all angry vibe this song has, the only thing I would give criticism about is the fact that it's a little too...earrapey, or, blasty? If that's the right way to describe it. I like the little bit of peace at the beginning of the 4/5 part of the song but the blast-y stuff comes back around and is just a little too much. Other than that, great remix. It's not perfect, but it's a good part in the story. 8/10

It's like you start realizing just how wrong everything has become, you won't be resting in peace instead it's a slow descend into aggression and revenge. you're filled with whatever anger you can muster, it never ends and your hatred will only grow. you were never a peaceful person were you?
To me it sounds like someone struggling to stay alive and to keep the song in tune to the original, to get their life back to normal, whilst the distortion tries to rip it at the seams.

Ending 1 felt like a man dying a sad, but overall peaceful and welcoming death. Alone, but who says he doesn't like it that way?
Ending 2 felt like a man sacrificing himself for a cause he only partly believed in, and silently screaming for some sort of escape before it's too late
Ending 3 sounds like a broken man who has lost everything, and is now unleashing all of his rage in the form of a last stand against those who ruined everything while remembering all the good times with those he has lost.

fear is strong, especially on the terms of death, but you lose enough in life, you realize fear is far from the strongest emotion, no no, that goes to anger, wrath, someone who is filled with wrath with nothing to lose is dangerous, and that's exactly what you've made of me, so allow me to introduce you to what true rage can do.

Most of us don't have the privilege to be greedy, we don't have the privilege to be selfless. We don't have the right to be our own.

If you are someone who believes in an afterlife, then you take comfort in the idea that one day when you die you’ll be able to see everyone again. And those who you left behind will be able to see you. But if you lose yourself, then you’re gone completely. Who you are now isn’t the you that they remember. It’s a warped, distorted version of your ideals walking around in your body, using your voice, having your face. There’s no solace in seeing you anymore, cause you’re gone. And there’s no getting you back

Yeah a lot of people are more sensitive to this stuff, that’s completely understandable
Truthfully, I enjoy songs like these, but I can see why people are complaining about the song. Its nature is pretty loud imo and is probably unbearable to some
The first one tells a tale of someone’s sacrifice to defeat evil, but with their life being the sacrifice
The second one, on the other hand, shows that they weren’t quite contempt with death, they fought until their last breath, with unwavering will until ultimately understanding they need to sacrifice themself
But the third one… shows how they didn’t accept their fate, or go down fighting… they succumbed to it, becoming another tool of destruction, who has killed everyone they knew, who has decimated the land, all because they couldn’t accept the fact they were going to die, and merged with death itself.

We’ll I can’t really describe it but I don’t think he’s mad but rather getting angry at the feeling he will be forgotten and he had so much to prove, he didn’t try to be the villain but everyone portrayed him as one. But really at the end I don’t know what to think. There’s definitely a sort of anger and sadness
