Using stitch markers! Helps so much.
Using light bright solid color yarn that makes each strand easily visible.
Going slowly and explaining each step, especially the ends of rounds and where to connect.
Showing each step long enough to see; so many others just rush through.
Your voice is extremely pleasant, too.

The links don't work for me either. I just used the #3 wt. yarn and a G hook for the main body. Looks cute but no idea how it will fit; baby isn't due yet.

Over the past 6 weeks or so you have taught me to crochet! I have just finished the little jacket, hat & shoes with the fur trim in red and white ready for my new grandchild's arrival in November. Wonderful how many chains for 3 to 6 months hat
Love your tutorials. I made the mittens and booties and they worked out the right size, but the hat seems monstrous, I used a 4mm and 4.5mm hook and making the 3-6mth. I don’t know if I am measuring the wrong spot on the beanie but even they seem to be way out. Mine is measuring approx 7” across the ribbing or 8” if you go across the bobble part, and 6 3/4” from top to bottom. What could I have done wrong with this one. Thanks
The links didn't work for me so I tried to use smaller hooks and #3 wt. yarn. The soles of my booties are 4" long and my hat is 8" across the rim and lower body and 6" top to bottom. No idea what age(s) these will fit but they sure are cute! LOL

Started a second one and using 2 colors, orange and white. Looks nice, one row of orange bubbles one white. Not sure if I should make a white or orange pom pom.
But I started with orange, so probably it should be orange. 😃
Unfortunately I have back pain and should crochet very little until my back is better. I'm told I crochet too much and that my back pain is from that.
