Thank you! Yes, I try to focus on important things for beginners where to join rounds etc. I like to count everything to do not make mistakes and no need to go back in rounds to find mistakes. I crochet tight, work looks more accurate, I like use smaller number crochet hooks, better I will make 3 rounds more than making a hat with a big hook and everywhere holes between stitches. :)

Hi, I already ignore them ages ago. My enemies :) copied my patterns and they put my patterns on the channels say very easy to make. I spending weeks and weeks to get the right size. When I create patterns I try many times too small, too big hat etc until I get what I need. So if I see my patterns in different channels I start a fight they have to remove etc so these people give me dislikes. :) About the hat, I had strange yarn even the same stylecraft. blue was soft and nice but this white like a stiff. Even I added 4 stitches more hat is not much bigger than 6-12 months. So you have to add stitches how you like. for length. For width also you can do 16 rows of pattern set of 4. But for 1 year old may be ok like this is.
