Jungkook did a suprise mini concert at Time Square New York USA but ARMY realised something was up and hours before it was announced and even worked out where it was going to be. It was announced 30minutes before it happened and the Time Square was completely packed hours before.

Yes you all have missed a lot. They have amped up tenfold with each member. RM has put out two albums ann both of them are fire. V and JKs albums are great. Jimin s album is still charting on Billboard after 1 or 2 years. Jin just came out of the military so he will probably put out an album. Armies are so proud of them. Oh and I forgot j-hope put out another album too a month or so ago and filmed a street dance documentary. Can't remember the name of it right off hand. You know BTS they continue to flood us with content while in the military. 💜
And Suga’s album and documentary as well. We were so well fed with content since last year that it truly made Jin’s and Hobi’s time in the military feel like a blink. Hopefully it goes like that for the rest of the members as well (though I’m not rushing time)

There is a behind the scenes video for this, and there's also a video of Usher and JK dancing "Yeah" together... I nearly died when I saw them dancing "Yeah", 'cos that's such an iconic Usher song. Let's see, the last 10 months, what has BTS been up to? It's now June 2024, so 10 months ago means Aug 2023? At that time, Jin was already in the military, and J-hope only started military a month or 2 after Jin went in. J-hope had released a solo album called "Jack In The Box" before he went to the military. I believe both Jin and J-hope are drill instructors. Then Suga released a solo album called "D-Day" and had a "D-Day" solo concert tour, and a UA-cam series of videos called "Suchwita", before he started his military service, But unlike the other 6 members, he's doing civil service instead, 'cos of his previous shoulder injury, so he's gonna take longer to finish than the other members who are doing the usual military service. Then RM released a solo album "Indigo" and V released a solo album "Layover", before they both went into the military at the same time. RM is now in the military band playing saxophone, while V is in a special unit, kind of like military police or some such elite counter-terrorism unit. Jimin released his solo album "Face" and JK released his solo album "Golden", before they went into the military together under a buddy system, which means they will both be in the same camp together and will go thru their military service together. While in the military... - J-hope released a dance docu-series called "Hope On The Street" and there's a soundtrack album that was released along with it. - RM released another solo album recently, "Right Place, Wrong Person". - Jimin is about to release his next solo album called "Muse", which is expected to be out in July 2024. Jin finished his military service on 12 Jun 2024, and went on to be part of the yearly Festa, where he had an event giving free hugs to 1000 ARMYs in person. He seems to have done well in the military, winning 7 to 8 awards while in service. Not everything I mentioned above is in exact chronological order, but it's everything I can remember that's happened in the last 10 months or so. Just trying to get you guys all caught up. If I missed out anything, I'm sure someone else will let you know.
Jin of BTS just returned from the military a few days ago.Next to return will be J Hope in October. The remaining five will be released from the South Korean military by December, 2025. RM and V on December 11, 2025 and Jungkook and Ji-Min on December 12, 2025. Last will be Sugar, but no discharge date as yet announced. Only Jin is out now; the other six members still serving in the South Korean military.

JIN just completed his military, the rest are still in. Standing Next to you was Jeon Kook Golden Album that came out last November. All will be out of the military around June 2025 . So glad JK got to work with one of his idols but I still prefer the original track with no feature. There is actually a remix of JK's track 3D featuring Justin Timberlake which I like better but it doesn't get mentioned so much as there is no video. You should check out V's album LAYOVER. JK will be 27years old later this year, he's been doing this since he joined at the age of about 13and a half. So yeah he was still school child and they members went to his induction and his leaving he's the youngest I think he was about 15/16 when he debuted in June 2013.

Watched the Usher collab version. His tats are the only reason JK didn't get into the special Forces like V. He passed all the physical and mental tests. But they are strict on visable tats. Solo album GOLDEN they are all in except Jin the first out. Jin , J Hope both were instructors, Jimin is in a unit that they normally send the math and science graduates to in a command centre. RM passed top of his class in mental and physical tests but is playing sax in the military band just put out a GREAT album RIGHT PLACE WRONG PERSON..... very experimental GROIN, and DOMODACHI are back to his underground roots. Jungkook chose go be an army cook. Its the most physically exhausting role lots of lifting of catering size pots. V is in the elite special forces Capital defence unit. Supremely fit they all passed training the top or near the top of their classes. JIN, J HOPE, JIMIN and V are all already Special Warrior status. I know J Hope and maybe Jimin are denial elite warrior class. I know RM got a blue badge as did V. He was definately fit enough. You can look up what you need to be able to do physically and on the shooting range ( I believe a 90% hit rate with a variety of weapons over various distances) for that. For some reason I remember the figures 3km in 12.5 mins.as just one small component of the tests.Oh yeh 86 sit ups in 2 mins, and 72push ups in 2 mins. Etc.

I will do my best to give you an update on them without writing a complete book, lol. So, since their Festa of 2022 when they announced they will be doing solo work and preparing for the military, it has just been crazy. They have all done solo albums except Jin who had to enlist by the end of 2022, so he didn't have time for an album. He did put out a song for ARMY with Coldplay called The Astronaut. RM has now done 2 albums lol. Up until June 12th, 2024, Jin was just discharged, they are all now fulfilling their military requirements. All seven will be done by the middle of 2025 and they will be back together. Jhope will be discharged this October. All of their albums are amazing and so different. But also, so them, lol. Jhope performed at Lollapalooza, Suga did a small concert tour, and the other all did various performances on different shows in Korea and the US. Jhope did a 6 part series about the history and his journey of dance that is absolutely amazing. The dancing is incredible. As always there is no shortage of content, even when they are serving in the military. I hope that help catch you up a little. And again it was so awesome seeing you guys again. I miss you so much. Thank you for your reaction. Just as an FYI, K-pop is NOT a genre. It's an industry. For instance, BTS sings Pop, Rap, EDM, Ballads, Latin Pop, Hip Hop. Those are genres. Not all K-pop groups sings the same type of music just like not all American artist sing the same type of music. All of the members are serving in the military. Jin, the oldest member, just got out on June 12. J-hope will be coming out in October and then the rest of the guys in June 2025. Starting in 2022 they decided to take a hiatus from group projects, primarily because of the mandatory military service, and focused on solo projects. All of the individual projects have been amazing!!! I can only imagine the music that they will create after they are all out of the military. Not sure if you know but BTS is involved and writing and producing their music which is what makes them so different. I hope you continue to reaction the BTS songs as well as the individual songs.

Yes you all have missed a lot. They have amped up tenfold with each member. RM has put out two albums ann both of them are fire. V and JKs albums are great. Jimin s album is still charting on Billboard after 1 or 2 years. Jin just came out of the military so he will probably put out an album. Armies are so proud of them. Oh and I forgot j-hope put out another album too a month or so ago and filmed a street dance documentary. Can't remember the name of it right off hand. You know BTS they continue to flood us with content while in the military. 💜

And Suga’s album and documentary as well. We were so well fed with content since last year that it truly made Jin’s and Hobi’s time in the military feel like a blink. Hopefully it goes like that for the rest of the members as well (though I’m not rushing time)
Don't forget Sugas album (which is amazing btw) and his sold out world tour. They all put out so much content and for sure kept ARMYs well fed during their "absence". Miss them so much

Oh yeah, y’all have a lot to catch up on with the tannies. Someone already posted what you’ve missed but the members pretty much released solo albums. Joonie released his second album called Right Place, Wrong Person which made A LOT of noise especially with locals. It’s out of the norm for namjoon in terms of genre and sound but he wanted to experiment and did amazing. JK has the album Golden. All English tracks. Hobi released another album as well called Hope On The Street. Taehyung released Layover and Jimin has the Face album. Jin got discharged so we’re definitely getting his album maybe this year hopefully. No idea if y’all reacted to RM’s other album Indigo and hobi’s Jack In the Box. 🥹💜

There is a behind the scenes video for this, and there's also a video of Usher and JK dancing "Yeah" together... I nearly died when I saw them dancing "Yeah", 'cos that's such an iconic Usher song. Let's see, the last 10 months, what has BTS been up to? It's now June 2024, so 10 months ago means Aug 2023?
At that time, Jin was already in the military, and J-hope only started military a month or 2 after Jin went in. J-hope had released a solo album called "Jack In The Box" before he went to the military. I believe both Jin and J-hope are drill instructors.
Then Suga released a solo album called "D-Day" and had a "D-Day" solo concert tour, and a UA-cam series of videos called "Suchwita", before he started his military service, But unlike the other 6 members, he's doing civil service instead, 'cos of his previous shoulder injury, so he's gonna take longer to finish than the other members who are doing the usual military service.
Then RM released a solo album "Indigo" and V released a solo album "Layover", before they both went into the military at the same time. RM is now in the military band playing saxophone, while V is in a special unit, kind of like military police or some such elite counter-terrorism unit.
Jimin released his solo album "Face" and JK released his solo album "Golden", before they went into the military together under a buddy system, which means they will both be in the same camp together and will go thru their military service together.
While in the military...
- J-hope released a dance docu-series called "Hope On The Street" and there's a soundtrack album that was released along with it.
- RM released another solo album recently, "Right Place, Wrong Person".
- Jimin is about to release his next solo album called "Muse", which is expected to be out in July 2024.
Jin finished his military service on 12 Jun 2024, and went on to be part of the yearly Festa, where he had an event giving free hugs to 1000 ARMYs in person. He seems to have done well in the military, winning 7 to 8 awards while in service.
Not everything I mentioned above is in exact chronological order, but it's everything I can remember that's happened in the last 10 months or so. Just trying to get you guys all caught up. If I missed out anything, I'm sure someone else will let you know.
Jin of BTS just returned from the military a few days ago.Next to return will be J Hope in October. The remaining five will be released from the South Korean military by December, 2025. RM and V on December 11, 2025 and Jungkook and Ji-Min on December 12, 2025. Last will be Sugar, but no discharge date as yet announced. Only Jin is out now; the other six members still serving in the South Korean military.

JK will be 27years old later this year, he's been doing this since he joined at the age of about 13and a half. So yeah he was still school child and they members went to his induction and his leaving he's the youngest I think he was about 15/16 when he debuted in June 2013.

Watched the Usher collab version. His tats are the only reason JK didn't get into the special Forces like V. He passed all the physical and mental tests. But they are strict on visable tats. Solo album GOLDEN they are all in except Jin the first out. Jin , J Hope both were instructors, Jimin is in a unit that they normally send the math and science graduates to in a command centre. RM passed top of his class in mental and physical tests but is playing sax in the military band just put out a GREAT album RIGHT PLACE WRONG PERSON..... very experimental GROIN, and DOMODACHI are back to his underground roots. Jungkook chose go be an army cook. Its the most physically exhausting role lots of lifting of catering size pots. V is in the elite special forces Capital defence unit. Supremely fit they all passed training the top or near the top of their classes. JIN, J HOPE, JIMIN and V are all already Special Warrior status. I know J Hope and maybe Jimin are denial elite warrior class. I know RM got a blue badge as did V. He was definately fit enough. You can look up what you need to be able to do physically and on the shooting range ( I believe a 90% hit rate with a variety of weapons over various distances) for that. For some reason I remember the figures 3km in 12.5 mins.as just one small component of the tests.Oh yeh 86 sit ups in 2 mins, and 72push ups in 2 mins. Etc.
I can not wait till you guys hear RM'S second solo album, it is a masterpiece

Hey there guys!!! I miss you two sooooo much. It was so awesome watching you react to this MV. I hope you are able to do more reactions again. There is so much going on with the guys. I will do my best to give you an update on them without writing a complete book, lol. So, since their Festa of 2022 when they announced they will be doing solo work and preparing for the military, it has just been crazy. They have all done solo albums except Jin who had to enlist by the end of 2022, so he didn't have time for an album. He did put out a song for ARMY with Coldplay called The Astronaut. RM has now done 2 albums lol. Up until June 12th, 2024, Jin was just discharged, they are all now fulfilling their military requirements. All seven will be done by the middle of 2025 and they will be back together. Jhope will be discharged this October. All of their albums are amazing and so different. But also, so them, lol. Jhope performed at Lollapalooza, Suga did a small concert tour, and the other all did various performances on different shows in Korea and the US. Jhope did a 6 part series about the history and his journey of dance that is absolutely amazing. The dancing is incredible. As always there is no shortage of content, even when they are serving in the military. I hope that help catch you up a little. And again it was so awesome seeing you guys again. I miss you so much. Thank you for your reaction. Just as an FYI, K-pop is NOT a genre. It's an industry. For instance, BTS sings Pop, Rap, EDM, Ballads, Latin Pop, Hip Hop. Those are genres. Not all K-pop groups sings the same type of music just like not all American artist sing the same type of music.
All of the members are serving in the military. Jin, the oldest member, just got out on June 12. J-hope will be coming out in October and then the rest of the guys in June 2025. Starting in 2022 they decided to take a hiatus from group projects, primarily because of the mandatory military service, and focused on solo projects. All of the individual projects have been amazing!!! I can only imagine the music that they will create after they are all out of the military. Not sure if you know but BTS is involved and writing and producing their music which is what makes them so different. I hope you continue to reaction the BTS songs as well as the individual songs.
