When seven was released, I was OBSESSED but I think this completely knocks seven & 3D out the water. This is probably my favorite song & MV by a kpop idol this year! Yes I’m a little biased but my jaw was on the floor when I first watched it. He’s such an amazing singer and performer. I can’t wait for a live performance! I really hope it gets played on the radio because it deserves to be heard by everyone.

This was filmed in an abandoned power plant in Budapest. The tunnel is a race trach in hungary.
He paid homage to Michael and still his style shown through.
I got with him in the wings he was a bad angel and her in white as the good angel or girl and people heaven or people want to keep them apart.
I think the limo drivers were fighting over her if you notice at one point they surround the car she is sitting one.

Besides all the homages to MJ armys on Twitter have connected the dots and found a LOT of direct references to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet movie - the wings, the stage is almost identical, Jk sign in the heart, rival families setting w the girl and the fight etc
Also ,there was some confusion about the actress , it's not the one who played Diana in The Crown, armys got too excited 😂

Hi Girls! To confirm your thoughts: the video is an homage to Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, confirmed by the video director on her Instagram. So many callbacks and tributes. The fight scene happens in the film, too. It's the warring families of the two lovers. It makes sense from the "We aren't allowed to be together but f**k that I will die for you" perspective of the lyrics. Borahae from Portugal.

My theory was the hidden meaning is about military and how he says they cant divide us and the wings and the blood sweat and tears choreo and when he says standing next to you it means standing next to jimin while they are in military which is why he changed the original lyrics from s3xual to normal it was "push up on this JUNK and give me miracles" JUNK instead of funk!
