Thanks Vanessa. You read my mind. Been in my craft room all day trying to Crank out Christina’s cards, tags, pot holders, quilts and zipper pouches for Christmas gifts. Then need to bake and make homemade lotions, sugar body and lip scrub that will go in my zip pouches I make. I always love watching you. You inspire me. I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year!! Hugs!!
You had me at the HSN card! 😂 HSN and QVC have been my life since the late 80’s with my step grandmother; she only watched them, and I had to watch it. Now, decades later, it’s by choice. 😂 ♥️
I made a larger one for gift cards you buy online and print out. I cut the pieces 9 x 6 inches to start and it was just the right size. Thanks again for the tutorial!
Made these for my granddaughters. I only had wonder under so mine are "lined". Thank you so much for your inspiration and guidance. And Gracie's calf is beautiful :-)
As usual a great and easy to follow tutorial. You're awesome Vanessa and congratulations on the new baby calf. Where did you get that gorgeous fabric with the reindeer on it? It's so pretty. Thank you for all you do.
Thanks! I'm a fan of gift cards but also feel guilty not including something handmade. LOL. This takes care of that and helps me bust my stash a bit! Happy sewing!
Sew noticed this isn’t lined. Does the deco bond serve as a lining? I need to make 6 of these stat lol glad you had a video. You make things easy to understand
Thanks for doing last minute DIY gifts again this year. You always have great ideas and I love your tutorials. This is perfect for my daughter and nephew who would rather have a gift card or money. Congrats on the baby calf. I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas and a prosperous and Happy New Year.
Thank you for your response. I thought decor bond might be stiff. I have it here at home. I also have the fusible fleece. I’ll try one with the decor bond.
I needed a gift card holder at the last minute. It literally only took 5 minutes. Thank you!
At the last minute, my daughter realized the gift cards she got her cousins needed to be wrapped. This is perfect. Thanks so much for posting this!
It took me far too long to find someone helpful like you! Plus, I resonate with Gemini 😁🤣
This same concept would work great for cash too, just change the dimensions. Love it, thanks for doing another round this year

Can you hand sew or glue the sides?
Is there another fusible you can use if you don’t have the dura fuse. Thanks for the great tutorials 😁👍🏻
Pellon decor bond is similar to the Dura Fuse
Thank you for your response. I thought decor bond might be stiff. I have it here at home. I also have the fusible fleece. I’ll try one with the decor bond.
BTW, I will make these again for Valentine's day, birthdays, etc. with appropriate prints of fabric
