Also i Heard that unlike true buffaloes bisons are MORE closely related and and EVEN considered to by some scientists to be a subgenus of the cattle that comprises the genus bos

The scientific name of the gaur is actually Bibos gaurus.
Is meeting between Gaur and Water Buffalo possible in the wild?
I think they can in Kaziranga National Park in Assam (India)
