Thank you Mark, this is helping me no end mate. Just hope I have enough energy to play this song and sing it ha ha as it's an electrifying beautiful high tempoed song to play, needs awesome energy behind it. Love the song so much and it needs to be played proudly in my opinion. I'm gonna manage it very well eventually. Thanks again mate, Mark (Folkestone) 👍
What are the notes in that B minor? because the only B minor shape I know is an E minor shape barred on the 7th fret, and that certainly isn't what he's playing there.
I'm pretty sure that's actually a C#m. If it were a Bm it'd be played as an Am with respect to the capo. This is an Am barre shape played at the 4th fret (2nd with respect to the capo). Counting up fom open, that's Am (0), A#m (1), Bm (2), Cm (3), C#m (4)
The naming of the chords is correct, he's just trying to simplify it as a lesson, it's called transposing !! Transposing is when you play a G chord or G shape with a capo on 2nd fret the chord you're actually playing is an A chord. So, if you have 2 guitars and only 1 capo, the guitar with the capo on 2nd fret plays a G shape, while the guitar without the capo plays an A chord, the resulting sound to your ear is identical. Learn the notes of the fretboard on your guitar to understand..:)
Listen to it, the chords are relative to the capo, so it's a c shape, but a whole step up as the capo is on the second fret. C becomes d, g becomes a, em becomes f#m.

Not Bm, it's a C#m seeing as you've transposed everything else up 😁
What guitar does he play? Is it a HD-28?
Think so

Except for that Bm, which is in fact a C#m.
What is the strumming pattern?
Yummm
The naming of the chords on screen is a mess.... Great song though
Are you the real Barry Hawkins? Or has it all just been a lie?
Man that’s a massive help for people like me that are just learning this stuff for the first time. But that’s because I’m lazy.
Wait...is it me or did he get the chord names wrong?
it wasnt you, its all wrong (well some of it)
