The disk on her headband is meant to be the sun! In ancient Egyptian paintings there are many depictions of the sun like that! There was also a god/deity named Aten that was a sun disk :3

I absolutely love this Cleo. I was one of those kids who was super into ancient Egypt and I think I would have flipped for this doll when I was younger, so I'm absolutely getting her. She's worth every penny to me!

I think shes adorable, i dont see how the dress doesn't match her tbh i like it.
Her lips feel invisible because of the color choice but oh well, might try painting over them.

As a Cleo stan, I feel compelled to buy every Cleo ASAP. Also, that slip dress is hella cute. I may have to buy a second when she goes on sale and display her like that.
i've heard there's going to be a frankie joining this line unofficially! similar to how spa day lagoona is part of creepover, amped up frankie will be an add-on to monster ball, and by the way the set description is, they'll be a performer for the ball!

I think she needs her bangs back, especially this doll. I don't know why they didn't give her bangs while the art clearly has bangs. I would love to see you cut bangs to her, so that I can decide whether to get her or not 😄
I honestly like this Cleo and don’t mind that shade of blue. I think it’s a nod to Egyptian blue which is one of my favorite colors

I like the color scheme with the extra black, but don't like the doll as much as I thought I would. Darker lipstick would have been cool.

I didn’t even know basic G3 Cleo’s hair is poly. Mines’ hair felt so soft, I just assumed it was Saran.
It is poly but have some saran in it. Her hair type is basically a fusion of both

false advertising with the bangs. I was so excited for the bangs to be back and to see this doll with no bangs made me disapointed

Older doll hair is the best. I got this vintage 60s Barbie with a flip hairstyle with really messy hair. All I had to do was comb the ends upwards and put on a plastic cap on her head. She doesn't look like she just came out of the box, but I actually like the way she turned out more.
Fantasy hair colors are most likely to get Poly hair.
Clawdeen has mostly brown hair in this line so yes she will have Saran

Mattel is the opposite of that.
And MGA uses nylon hair which is expensive.

Be super careful with the flatiron if you use it, I did a test strand on mine on lowest heat and completely soaked in water and it still melted off 😢

They can't get her hair in Saran due to it being mostly Fantasy colors that literally why Clawdeen was stuck with poly hair in previous dolls.
I'm I the only one who thinks that the G3 Cleo looks a bit like her sister? Cause her hair is blue and the original cleo has different hair. And as you know Nefra (how ever you spell her name lol) has the same blue hair, so idk Btw this is just my personal opinion! But except from that, she is a goddess💅👑

As a Cleo collector…the slip dress is 100% her. It’s just updated to today’s standards as opposed to before where she would have tights or mummy wraps under them before
