For a 20 year old car, it looks better and more aggressive than most 2020 vehicles on the road.
My feelings about the 7th gen aside, I'm glad you were able to buy your dream car and get it exactly the way you wanted it. That's awesome, man. Congrats!
Drive DB7 thanks man , if you ever get the chance drive one . I promise you won’t be disappointed, it drives very similar to Honda’s anyways LOL
I think these cars really need that wing to complete the look, much like the MKIV Supra.

This car was soooo underrated!!! I've own an 80 coupe and a 93 coupe! Underpowered but still a lot of fun! And a nice Tuner platform nowadays! Would love to own a 3rd, just can't decide between 6th or 7th Gen! 🤔, ✌🏾🖤✊🏾

Might buy one for 2,500 soon, I'm hesitant though because 190k miles
Chump kins I bought mine with 215,000 km and it was fairly reliable aside from replacing the transmission. I sold it at 260,000kms
@@revmatchruben hopefully i won't need to replace it.
Chump kins just give it a good test drive and regular service. My celica GTs was not well taken care of by the previous owner so that’s why when I got it the transmission went.

TRD, is a semi-stock option because it was a motorsport division of Toyota until it was replaced by GR.

Usman Kazmi they are extremely fuel efficient . The GTS requires premium fuel . Reliability wise they are ok . Being 20 years old doesn’t help and many of them were abused .

If you’re gonna get any for reliability get a GT model from 2004 or 2005. Those engines are BULLETPROOF! Previous year GTs (2000-03) has oil consumption issues and the GTS is a bit less reliable and requires premium gas... so a bit more expensive to maintain.
@@Hyphessobrycon could I put a 04-05 engine in a 2000 gts? My motor was burning oil and thought the car was a gt so I didn’t use premium and motor and timing chain went out

a gts requires premium, but a gt uses regular i believe, but I know a gts uses premium, so gts is like a "sports" car, they're pretty quick, and a Gt is more of a economy car

At the time I had a GT celica that I took the parts off of and then swapped the skirts onto the GT-S and I was too lazy to peel the sticker

I would definitely say yes :) I have the GT version and it runs great. At 143hp it's just quick enough to put a smile on your face, it looks amazing, very cheap to maintain and doesn't drain your pockets for fuel money. The only thing I would change is making it RWD, but then it would probably cost more than most people can afford. It's very low to the ground, handles great and gives you a very sporty feel. It's basically a GT86 with FWD. I say go for it, you won't regret it!

Hey man. Check the vin of your vehicle and call the dealer they will tell you . You can also check your insurance or ownership
If it’s 6 spd its most likely gts
If it says Vvti on engine= GT, VvtLi= Gts
If your intake headers are aluminum then its a gts. If its black plastic its a gt. If uur dash gauges go to 9 its a gts. If its 8 its a gt. If you accelerate and hit 6000 rpm and the car jolts fwd and takes off til redline its a gts. If you struggle to redline and feel no pull its a gt.
