This was an impressively exhaustive assessment of this machine, in typical EMK style! The MioMat company picked the right person to do this, because you've thought of every user consideration! This machine is a huge improvement on the machine you got a couple of years ago; it's possible that companies are learning from one another's mistakes? Thanks for posting : )
They found the right girl to nail all possibilities and features! Great job! I am considering buying something I never considered before, the soup feature rocks! And the shear usefulness of no waste by having the option to use the bulk residue fo adding to so many things, a healthy machine for sure.
Nice thorough review:) Fresh milk tastes so much better than store bought. I liked how you were honest with the pros and cons - I appreciate it. Thanks for your commitment!
I've had a similar one for over a year now. I'm sure it already paid for itself (much cheaper milk than store bought), I'm never stuck without milk, and I don't have to deal with a pile of recycling! And I prefer the flavour to any of the carton milks.
This is rather timely for me. I made pecan milk this morning. I've got a good blender but I still have to pasteurize it on the stove. It'd be nice to streamline that
Great review! I’m going to buy it! I know that the soy beans need to be cooked at 82°C for at least two minutes in order to prevent the soy milk tasting bitter. So this will be sooooo much easier for me to make soy yogurt. Thanks for such a great review❤❤❤
wow 👏 what an amazing review. Very informative - thank you so much. I bought one for myself for my Christmas present 😄 I was very good and didn't open it before. Looking forward to trying out some recipes and saving some money. Thanks again, hope you, your family and all your subscribers have had a lovely Christmas - take care ❤🎄☃❄
I was looking for an honest review of this product recently as it is (for me) an expensive purchase (even with the current amazon discount). Thank you for this, there is very little information (or I am bad at finding it) and I need to be certain this is one. The few people who posted information about it had issue with splilling that worried me, so it was nice to see very detailed and considerate review from you, thank you for this. I am still not sure about it but some of the features and information I gained from watching you really helped me to understand the product better.
Hello, we are still fighting the main program with MioMat - the spill out. Luckily the problem is not in the machine but in misuse of it - when you do not attach the stainless steel grinder, water will spill out all over. We have this written in our manual but I think people still forgot to use it :)
@@miomatofficial From this review I come to the same conclusion. What I thought that people maybe overfill it or don't follow instructions correctly. It is nice that no plastic comes in contact with food and that it was tested for a few months before this review. You picked a good person to test and review the product.
I like this, I am looking for this type of machine even! Cashew milk is what i want to make most! :p how interesting it can make a soup, got to try it!
Hi! Thanks for your videos. I would love to win this product, because it’s something I NEED! 😂. I’d like to make soup, milk, tofu, and whatever else is possible. Thanks again 💜
Just scrolling through you Native American section. Could you make some of the soups in this mio mat? I saw an apple squash soup as you were turning pages in the Sioux chef cookbook. I would also like to see you make the Hong Kong tomato tofu soup, in or out of the mio mat, please.
Cleaning question. Can you add dry rice and soap, then blend to scrub hard to scrub spots? Or does that just make a mushy mess? Really like your review. I want to make oatmilk, as it is always out at my store. I am going to look up upcycled oatmeal cookie recipes now. With seasonal spices. Yum! Almond and rice milk would be great as well, and some soup now that it is winter.
I would really like to try make my own almond milk. The one I buy has too many ingredients in it. I'd like to drink something more natural and homemade. I think MioMat would be perfect for the best nut milk!
I just used my Miomat for the first time yesterday. I wish that the cookbook recipe is more clear. I made soymilk and the recipe said 1 cup of soybeans and 5 cups of water. But I don't know if that one cup of soybeans is dry ones or soaked ones. I ended up using 2 cups of soaked ones. Also when I added 5 cups of water, it didn't even reach the min line. Anotjer thing, I wish that the cookbook tells the yield like how many cups I will get. So I am still puzzled with their cookbook. Also the productivity is really low. It doesn't really feed our family. I needed to make 2 batches and I needed to wash after each batch. So that is another hustle. I am on the fence if I should return it.
Are you still doing a giveaway for mio Mat? It's now 1st June 2023. Please let me know if you are as I would love to be gifted a mio mat to make my daughters soy milk. Thank you!
I’ve had my MioMat for a couple of weeks and love this machine! I use a toothbrush to clean above the blades. The instructions tell you to clean machine before attaining milk, warning you that it will be harder to clean if you don’t. I agree, great instructions by people who have actually used the machine. I was able to get $15 off by using a code from Kathy Hester.
This was a great review and demonstration. This video was right on time for me since I'm currently looking for a nut milk maker, especially with the increase in food prices. With the MioMat being a multifunctional unit it will definitely make everyday life a bit easier. Thank you for sharing. @writely_so

We also think so :) We tried to make it as versatile as possible :)
That was one of the most through reviews I have ever seen, well done!
Thank you for the review. Sounds like an honest and candid review. I wonder if it could make apple/pear butter?

Fab looking machine - so Nordic! I love the style, the clean internal lines and the comprehensive booklet.
Great Review! TY The machine appears awesome! Appreciate your thorough review!
Soy milk in the store is nothing like the real thing! This is wonderful! 谢谢
Thank you for this review. I have seen a few as I am very interested in the MioMat but you have done a great detail in this video, thanks 😊
Looks amazing. Love your reviews. I have been meaning to start making my own milks to reduce waste but the task has seemed so daunting.

The miomat seems pretty cool I’d love to make soy milk and almond milk in it. And making soups too.
Thank you for this thorough review! Can you comment on how "beany" soy milk made in the MioMat tastes compared to store bought soy milk?
Wow, you give a wonderful review! 🎉
Ordered mine today will be here feb 3. Can't wait.
Excited for this giveaway! Thanks!!
Looks amazing . Thanks for the review
This Miomat looks great! I would be soo excited to make my own soy and nut milks!
Looks amazing! Have always wanted to get into making nut milks to cut down on waste.
Reduce waste, it's cheaper in the long run, and its cleaner than store-bought :)

Don’t be overwhelmed!!
Thank you for the detailed review! 😊
How are you finding your Miomat a year or so later? Do you use it often, would you still recommend?
Amazing machine! BTW - nice haircut.
I’ve always wanted to make my own soy milk. Seems like a great product to use
wanted to try making soy milk for ages but cannot afford a good enough blender, would love try to this!
Looks so handy, would love to try it!

Hope I win the miomat! I'd love to try making blended nut milks with this. I want to mix pistachios and walnuts and see how it is!

Yes, you can do that - but when you clean your MioMat right away light scrubbing with a sponge will do the trick :)
Thanks for the heads up
@@elainacasey7672 always happy to help :)
I’ve been making plant based milk with my vitamix but this looks easier. I would love one of these.
Hello Wendy, now might be the perfect time to get one as we are having a sale on our website and also on amazon :)
