Thank you so much for this video. This is the best comparison of the two soymilk makers I've found on youtube.
Aww thank you, I'm glad you find this video useful 🙂. Have a great day!
Have an older SoyaJoy G4 and still works like a charm. Excellent customer service when I had a few questions so all in all 5star experience 👍
I agree, SoyaJoy works great!
Miomat is the winner 👍the dripping problem is an easy fix if the Soya joy care they should take a note of it.
A marketing agent said SoyaJoy is or has fixed the spout/pouring problem with their new batch of soymakers. I hope so... 🙂
Yeah as I said that is an easy fix(dun need rocket scientist to fix it) i don't work in the kitchen that much but un acceptable if the kichen equipment make messy on the counter top ,I am very sure you hate it as much as I do good thing that they already took care the problems as marketing person said👍😃
Just got my SoyaJoy G5 tonight and tried it for that first time. Love it!! So much better than grinding and cooking. Mine didn’t spill when I poured, not sure what I did to prevent it but I was very happy with it.
I'm glad you are enjoying your soymilk machine. 🙂
Thanks for your honest review. You made excellent and fair comparisons. Don't get dissuaded by corporate people getting defensive over their product.
Thank you for your kind comment 🙂❤️
I have soyajoy, very oldest model for years. Very dependable. I never throw away the soy "pulp" (oraka) rather I use it to make soy burgers by adding shreaded vegetables, bit of whole wheat flour, sometimes shreaded nori sheat and seasonings like onion, garlic, and bake the patties in air fryer. Can also use the pulp in muffins. All soy milk makers newer models do seem easier to clean than my old but trusty model.
Thanks for your comment and feedback on SoyaJoy. I do use the soy pulp not only in burger patties, also in pancake mix and granola cereal
Thank you for your amazing comparison, It was a teachable moment
Glad you find it useful.
Very interesting. Ive yet to get a drip or mess from my Soyajoy. 🤔 I feel like I do the same thing as you did. Maybe just how much you try to pour at once 🤷 Great video though! Thanks.
I still like the SoyaJoy soy maker, even if the pouring gets messy 🤣 it's rare that it doesn't drip when I pour.
Great video, really helpful as I'm trying to decide on getting a soy milk maker. Thank you!!
I'm glad you find this review video helpful.
Great video Marie. You have certainly piqued my curiosity with these alternative milk making machines. Is it possible to make almond milk from either brand? I may check into these. We use a professional grade Vitamix but it isn't too happy grinding up freshly roasted almonds.
Hi yes, you can use the soylmilk machine to make almond milk. You need to soak the almonds, chop up to make them smaller like soybean size. And process them in the machine. I'll show you a video of me making it
@@wellnessandcountrylife awesome thank you so much Marie.
I am debating whether it is worth my investment. How long have each of these soymilk machines lasted before they broke?
Thank you for the review. Which one produce hotter soymilk? I always leery about my soymilk is not cook enough
Hi they both make hot soymilk. 35-36 minutes process time. Make sure you soak the soybeans at least 6 hours and rinse before processing. Soaked beans cook eaiser and quicker.
SoyaJoy G5 has got better - a few things about the comparisons:
1. Capacity: SoyaJoy G5 capacity is about 30% larger. That is not a little bit.
2. Less pulp filtered out means more got into the milk. Higher motor speeds grinds soy pulp finer. However finer pulp means more soybean pulp will go through the filter to get into the milk. We have found that majority of people don’t like more pulp in the milk even the pulp is ground very fine. In addition, the additional fine pulp in soy milk doesn't increase protein content of the soy milk.
3. The metal cup over the blades. The SoyaJoy G3 of 10 years ago uses the removable metal cup over the blades. We found one issue - after one or two years of usage, some cups gots loose and cause rattle noise during use or even dis-engage. That is why we changed to the fixed metal cup in current SayJoy G5. Our new SoyaJoy G5 is easy to clean, doesn’t take any more time than the removal cup.
4. The drip when pouring milk out. As you can see, the SoyaJoy G5 already had a pour spot. If you pour out milk steadily, no drip will happen. Only when you do it not steady (watch the video) a small amount may drip out. We have improved this and all new machines you buy now will not drip.
5. The SoyaJoy G5 is not more noisy than the other model.
Thanks for your comments. We do use SoyaJoy G5 in making soymilk. We use both SoyaJoy G5 and MioMat, as Iclearly says the pros and cons of both milk machines, but we like using them both.
What about the unsoaked option from SoyaJoy? That seems to be the main difference between the two for me. How does the milk made from unsoaked soy compare? If I don’t have to pre-soak with SoyaJoy then I’d much rather get the SoyaJoy.
You can make soy milk with SoyaJoy without having to pre- soak them. But it's better for your digestion, you don't get bloated if you pre-soak beans before cooking including soybeans.
@@wellnessandcountrylife how long do you pre soak your soy beans?
@@cyang7850 soak it at least 6 hours or overnight
You don't have to soak the beans, yes. But for soy milk quality and for better digestion, it is adviceable to always soak beans.
I have problem with E9 and E2 errors, can u help ?
Review is appreciated, thanks 👍🏾
I'm glad you find it helpful👍
Very helpful. Thank you.
I'm glad you find this video helpful 🙂
Great info, looks delicious healthy recipes, good morning dear friend
Hi thank you 🙂 I'm glad you found this video informative.
I have a 50 pound sack of soy flour. Can I make soy milk using it? What setting would I use? I've heard SoyaJoyG5 can be set for high elevation (1 mile above sea level). How do I do this? How can MioMat be set for high elevation?
Soy flour? I'd say just add water and boiil it. Once boiled, let it cool and strain out pulp. Season with honey or sugar and a bit of pink salt.
I have 2 joyyoung soy milk makers.
thank you . what would you suggest to someone who wants to permanently swap to soy milk and needs a reliable and one off machine . are these good quality ,efficient and long lasting
We've used the SoyaJoy brand over 15 years, we seem to get about 7+ years of use per machine. We use it daily, so it gets used thousands of times!
Why do I get the feeling that all these machines are 10 years old in China?
Because soy milk making started in Asia/China.. so they're ahead of the game when it comes to soy products 🙂
SoyaJoy also has a larger capacity.
Yes, a bit larger
Good review
Thank you🙂
Nice🌹🌹🌹
Thank you for your kind comment.
but it was made so quickly. why are other bloggers cooks it for 2hours.
Hi! Are they using a milk machine or they're doing it manually? Doing it manually can take a little longer than if using a soymilk machine
