I have one exactly like this one and it works OK but the cap is a little loose and I am wondering if there is a way to tighten it up?
I would need a photo to understand if it is misaligned with the body or if the hood moves. there are two screws in the cap removing the plate, are they tight? write to me privately, santoanastasio1@gmail.com and send me a picture of the problem

Hi,
I have a lighter almost identical to this one.
I refilled it and changed the flint and it functioned for a couple of hours I guess.
Now when I try to refil it I hear that the gas is leaving the tank through the flame adjustment screw on the botton.
The gas reservouir needs to be replaced I guess?
When I want to remove the reserouir, as you do in the video, it will not drop out when I remove the bottom plate. It looks like the lighter was dropped and the bottom part is a bit dented therefore preventing the reservouir to slide out of the housing.
Do you have any recommendations? can I push it from the top of the lighter so it is forced out the bottom?
Any help is apreciated.

Hi, great description. You can't push it from above because the fork is holding the tank. One way I recommend is to remove the fill valve and screw in a screw that helps you pull the tank and at the same time see to make room for the tank to come out. If you don't have the screw unscrew the fill valve a bit and pull the tank from this valve.

hi, i need a photo however the cap can be adjusted a bit, under the cap cover you find two screws, and you can fix it from these two screws.

Video molto interessanti, mi domandavo se si potessero utilizzare anche pietrine compatibili come quelle Zippo. Le ho provate ma non sembrano fare contatto con la rotella. È la pietrina o l’accendino? Grazie mille della risposta 🙏
La zippo sono da evitare per il Cartier. Come Non bisogna mai usare le dupont perché sono più grandi e si guasta l'accendino perché si ottura il canale. Le più adatte oltre le Cartier sono le David Ross o ess non si trova di meglio si possono prendere quelli di un qualsiasi accendino usa e getta. Penso comunque che la rotella del suo Accendino ormai è consumata. Può provare a smontarla e pulire bene.

Hi great video! Couldn't figure out why the gear was getting stuck but because of this video I found out that I am missing that extremely small ring that you have to put on top of it.. Do you know somewhere I can buy this type of ring? highly appreciated!
edit: do you know if the small ring you put on top of the gear (friction wheel) is made out of plastic or metal?
Unfortunately I can't tell you where you could buy it, you would have to try in some model shop, or a watchmaker

I can’t tighten the screw that keeps the friction wheel in place. The thread on the brass housing for the wheel seems to messed up. Anyone an idea on how to work around?

Il cilindretto, se ti riferisci alla rotella dove si sfrega la pietrina, si mette nel foro dove in seguito introduci la vite. Cercherò di fare un nuovo video e ti informerò , l'accendino è troppo piccolo per fare dei buoni video. Il problema che il tuo accendino non esce la rotella quando si apre il cappuccio, potrei essere, ma non è detto, una pietrina bloccata dentro. Una buona giornata. Santo Anastasio

per sbaglio ho messo la pietrina del dupont sul cartier vintge di mio padre e non ho i soldi per mandarlo dalla cartier, come posso toglierla ? la prego di aiutarmi ci sono molto affezionato
Salve, la risoluzione non è difficile. Le suggerisco che è meglio che smonti il canale porta pietrina per togliere appunto la pietra focaia del DuPont. Se i ha visto il mio video non dovrebbe riuscire difficile. Altrimenti senza smontare L'accendino con un giravite lungo può cercare di frantumare la pietra , ma io non glielo consiglio, perché può rimanere più bloccata

@@lv-pj5tr una volta che ha il tubo in mano può spingere all'inverso la pietra avendola a vista, con qualunque attrezzo che sia abbastanza lungo

Mandami una foto comunicando su ebay, il mio account è sananast, molto probabilmente sembra più corta ma è solamente piegata. Capita spesso che nel chiuderlo la molla non è del tutto distesa e si piega. Ciao, fammi sapere
