- We have now sold the Corsa CDX auto we bought from CoPart during the summer. It's off to a new home in Stoke. This video outlines the final work done and the trip south to Lymm in freezing weather

That Corsa was probably the best example I’ve seen for ages.
Hope the new owner enjoys this car, great video as always Dougie❤.
Nice to see it’s went through a recent MOT no problem.
It's great to see you rescuing these Vauxhalls from the times when they cared about what they were producing. I just wouldn't own a post 2010 Vauxhall.
I live in South Wales and last week i was in wrk and a astra cdi came past it instantly reminded me of u and yr channel 😂 love seeing u save so many of these old gems
That interior is wild!
Nice one Dougie, happy new year to you and yours
My God! A Corsa B with a fully lit up heater control panel!
Thanks for producing these videos Dougie, I always enjoy watching them - what a great car and lovely seeing Bob too!!!
Great to see these little cars being saved 😊 love mine 👌🏻
Where are you these days Dougie? Always follow your videos. Great content. Hopefully not too long before you’re back on. 👍
Nice to see another Vauxhall enthusiast. Ive got three Cavaliers in the middle of restoring. Parts are near impossible to come by now though.
Aye hopefully someone will start reproducing parts for 90s vauxhall in the near future
@@lukeparry-mr7hk Yeah I hope so. Took me forever to get hold of a replacement rear boot panel. No smoked rear number plate rear lights available. then the whole headache of finding a f28
Not a bad wee corsa glad its kept on the road Merry Christmas Dougie 👍👌
Excellent work Scottie. Always love one of your videos.
I had one of these Corsa in a 3door as my first car
Jammy sod. Only that amount of welding was required!
But it's just how the Corsas are now.
After welding up my '93 Corsa B up, they do love to rust and it's easy to see why!
Glad the car is gone to a good home and it's one less motor to be finding a space for.
Merry Christmas Dougie and family
Another great video has always Dougie 👍
Compared to my 93 Corsa that is proper decadent in there. Great work keeping another on the road!
Dougie, I’ve found that the premixed prestone screen wash to be superb, it doesn’t freeze in the jets and also acts as a de-icer
I don’t think it was frozen more than likely bust pump he drove it from Scotland didn’t he to Lymm services if it’s not defrosted in that time obviously it’s broken or should I said of course it’s broken plus engine management light kept coming on more than his indicators
Great save there, tons of life left in the wee car now 🙂👍Merry Christmas 🎄
A wee minter. Good to see it off to a new home. There's a MK1 CDX up here in Aberdeen that I often pass. Still looks tidy but oh so rare nowadays
Happy Christmas 👍🏴🎄
Lovely little car!! A nice daily driver!!👍
loved the video and a merry Christmas to
I have a corsa c 06 plate and even though its a nail i love it
Hope the welding’s better on this than what was on the exhaust for the astra estate, the exhaust looked like stevie wonder had done it! Your brother in law would be horrified with it 🤣
The first like. Yes merry Christmas xxx
Engine management light keeps coming on and the head lights are all faded and misty and the wipers didn’t sound frozen to me sounded worn out the washer wasn’t still frozen at the later point in the video like he said because he had been driving it so it would have thawed out so clearly broken all mot failing items and if engine light is on could be something serious and the original reason it was at co-part don’t think people are just gonna scrap a good car And it’s failed 5 mots needing major stuff doing for immediate repair once that age and every year something come up for mot that makes it fail you should start to think is it cost effective to keep this car on the road just to keep failing mots each year and you won’t get the money back out on it for what is current value is and most mots keeps bringing up the same minor defects that need sorting so if someone can’t even fix the minor they will be come major and that could be during the year it still has MOT on and you wouldn’t know and could become a death trap and that’s not right having a car on the road with defective parts I think they should change the law and if the same parts keep coming up on minor and you know they hadn’t previously been replaced under advice from other mot that they soon need replacing they should become major after so many mots and be part of a failure I’ve seen cars got through mot 3 or 4 times with same minors on but they only keep fixing the major problems they should by the that point be made to fix the minor ones too because you can’t keep putting it in for mot and then never repair items just because it’s minor still obviously something wrong or they wouldn’t get brought up at the mot
Wow I'm dizzy!
Post '97 ones had their handling refined by Lotus!
I have the original broucher for my '99 SXI and it states such in there.
I'll bet some cnut has jacked it up on the floor at those points, the jacks took the stonechip and paint off
Did I spot a EML light flashing more than the indicator light on the drive down 🙈
I though I seen the engine management light on too Probably why it was at co part probably got engine issues plus lights are past it all misted over wipers sound like they need replacing too and washers broken
8:42 What light on the dash was periodically flashing/ coming on???
Eml = engine management light

"Won" a car fae copart? Didnt you buy it?
Winning implies you got it for hee haw kwam brer 😂
No it doesn’t you can win things on eBay and still need to pay
You bid against others on Copart and you "win" the vehicle by being the highest bidder.
