unfortunately the panel gaps are pretty big and almost maisto-like. I find it crazy how Autoart dominated back in the mid 2000s-early 2010s and even to this day, no one can do it better, not even themselves.
They have been doing amazing stuff from a lot of time, that is impressive. Even though I prefer CMC and Almost Real. I've had some little problems with some AutoArt models that felt kinda cheap for me lol. Anyway they are amazing but there's some little things I don't like from them. For example AutoArt does not care about making a proper realistic steering degree on every model. Which means the proportions under the vehicle aren't correct. Also they literally never care about making a proper working suspension. Sometimes it is not even present, and when it is there it's hard and simple. Not a softer one that will react even if you put a book under the model making it have the 4 wheels in contact with the surface. Not too different from a Maisto suspension lol. Aside of that I like what they do but they are not my favorite. Anyway it's not like every other model car manufacturer has those two aspects always in mind but at least I feel like Almost Real cares a little more about this lol. And considering they also have an exquisite craftsmanship, the gaps and all the other stuff is superb and as a plus you get some super cool extra functional parts, they are just what I need. I wish to see AutoArt and Kyosho taking care of these aspects someday
XP5 is a wonderful model and it's my lovely scale👍👌👌🚙🚙🚙
Look forward to AutoArt composite re-release MCL F1. Hope it happens soon or later
A good alternative to the more expensive autoart mclaren f1
