- Hello everyone welcome back to another video first time out in over 3 weeks we head out to a mark I ain’t fished much at all but lovely weather big surf hoping to catch a bass we start at the beach in little swell with the patchinko surface lure but after a few cast there was alot of surface weed so we move to the serious bass grounds big rolling waves we change to a diving lure which over here in guernsey is working great this lure is the berkley dex shallow diving lure after a few cast fish on but shortly livid it comes off, but we carry on and a couple more cast after fish on again this time it was not coming it gave a great fight in the tide lovely fish which went back safe.

Good video mate, really like the look of that berkley dex long shot never heard of that one before, looks like cuda lure to me, here in costa Blanca still no bass in up here yet , getting plenty of nice yellow mouth cudas but. @@c.ifishingguernsey I see the dex has good reviews for cudas and bass,another lure that’s dropped alot in price that’s got a great jerk action and is a good catcher is the savage gear sandeel jerk they fish very high up in the water casts well too.
Yes that’s interesting channel as he’s slow jigging for them in deep water in peak of winter it’s something I’d like to learn more on for bass fishing.

Ditch the treble hooks as they make such a mess of the fish, plenty of companies offer single hook alternatives that hook up just as well :)

Barbless nickle treble hooks every time for catch and release I use nothing else

I’m here till Saturday, the only day I’m busy is Thursday other than that nothing planned.
So any time that works best for you, I’m going to get a couple of new lures from micks, could you let me know witch ones would be best.
