I don't think you quite understand how much faster the 812 actually is. And frankly, had the Porsche not had 4WD it would have been an utter slaughter.

These cars are not in the same class, pretty useless comparison honestly.
While they are not in the same class, the comparison is still valid and fun. One thing to keep in mind is this. Every time a TTS owner meets any kind of sportscar or supercar, they tend to race them.
The Ferrari is clearly downhill, which helps quite a lot at high speeds. Also, the time recorded in the video for 0-300 is just 17 secs, which is way too short for a 812 (probably it can do 0-300 in roughly 20-21 secs). The 812 would've still won tho

Yep these speedo comparisons are pointless, gps or nothing for me. Some manufacturers are spot on and others can be 6-8% out! At 300 kph that makes a big difference
The only speedo that i've seen which is accurate to 1-2% at 300 km/h is the BMW M5F90. I think the Mercedes E63S is pretty close to that but as for Lambo's, Ferrari's or Mclaren's they're anywhere from 3-6% out.
I have a personal V-Box reading on an 812 0-300 in 18.37. That was using launch on flat road. It might be slightly downhill in the beginning, but the numbers are pretty much on point.
@@almillin3207 The Ferrari speedos are very accurate now a days. The Lusso is off by about 2-3 kph when the tyres are new, and the same goes for the 812. On winter tyres the Lusso is off by about 5-6 kph. The way the modern Ferrari speedos work means that they are not off by a fixed percentage, but rather by a pre-programmed amount which is controlled by the ESC/ABS system. If you want to see a Ferrari speedo that's off, you need to go back to the 458.

I love Porsche and of course the Ferrari 812 will be much faster after 150kmh but remember the Turbo S is spouse to be vs 488 GTB The 812 is in higher class it's not fair to compare those two , but still the 488 GTB will be faster at higher speed
Why is the Porsche not holding overboost? Should be at 1.3 BAR all through the gears. My guess is that it had the wrong fuel in it, the ECU was pulling boost and likely timing. It was 1.0 BAR a bunch of the time, that's probably 75hp+ it was giving up. I finally figured out why I keep seeing these TTS videos online and the car doesn't seem as quick as it should be.
Steve C it's the same case with the 488 videos, like dragtimes who tries to show the 488 being beat by a hurucan from a roll which is total bs.. as the fuel in the 488 is completely wrong and the low octane pulls timing very badly in turbo cars
