This gun is a high skill, high reward weapon. Best rifle for quickscoping. Getting 6 kills with 6 shots followed by the amazing reload animation is so damn satisfying
@@shtaufaker5211 Already have Damascus. Really enjoyed the EBR. I kit it to increase ADS speed and use it like an AR. Favorite sniper until the SKS was added. Grinding through Magnum kills without attachments was a pain, but I didn't have too many issues with it once I was able to throw the Lightweight Trigger back on. Kitted it for range to maximize its 2 shot potential. Not near as good as the Deagle obviously due to its slower fire rate, shorter ammo capacity, and long reload.
I love this gun, if you practice a bit with it it's so much fun running around clicking on enemy's heads. I haven't found another gun as fast and as fun as the mk2
I don't think I've ever had more fun with any gun in a cod game. To hear someone complaining about a dude running around with a shotgun when it's you with a mk2 is so satisfying.

I LOVE this gun. Like, it’s just awesome. I’ve always had a problem with aim jitters on COD, like I could hit the first shot but then I’d end up spraying the rest off target and dying. But this gun has helped me improve my aim so much, using a weapon that rewards so much for accuracy has really helped me up my game on cod and I’ve been absolutely tearing it up with this thing (btw I pretty much only play ffa). It’s like time slows down when I ads, I go into a zen like trance and I’m not even concerned about being shot, I’m just focused on getting that red dot into the kill zone. Yes it was rough to begin with, a lot of hit markers along the way, but if you can use this thing properly it is a BEAST.
Do you mean by reloading after the 1st shot every time? I have tried that but didn't know wether it actually had any effect loved this weapon initially, hate it since using the ebr
Basically in a pinch you can reload one round and fire it off if you run out of ammo mid fight. Could be the one that lands and leaves you standing over your opponent. On top of that, you also can load a few bullets at a time and run to cancel the animation of reloading to move quickly into/ out of cover.
Ugh the past week has been miserable since the introduction of the crossbow. Everybody and their mother is using the Carbine or Kar98... if not the M4 or 725.
That's not a bad thing, marksman rifles actually take skill to use. All I see in my lobbies are the m4 (not so much the 725 these days), occasionally an M13 due to the recent buffs, and the mp5 - the lack of competition against these weapons is a huge problem with this game.
I've never simultaneously loved and hated a gun so much - sometimes I feel like John Wayne unstoppably clapping cheeks cowboy style, while other times I'll hit 9 dudes in the chest at point blank and get nothing but hitmarkers. I do think the carbine is technically in a good spot though since if it were any better it would be straight busted and if it were any worse it would be straight trash. If I could change one thing I'd just make it more consistent at close range since getting a hitmarker on someone bum rushing you with an smg or shotty means certain death, but at the end of the day it's a high-risk high-reward weapon.

Me and my friend just came off of constant shipment maps for a double xp weekend and I can gladly say getting 4 guns hold in 48 hours (all nighters screw sleep schedules) this gun is in a really good place. But the carbine stands out to me in the most satisfying gun possibly next to the Kar98K to get kills with. I wouldnt change anything about the gun except for its damage range as it is a marksman rifle and I would personally expect to see it at slightly further combat with the same effectiveness range at close combat just to give camping snipers a run for their money
I'd love to see a mare's leg conversion, short barrel and sawed stock at the cost of one round. Also it'd be nice to get a big loop lever to increase fire rate. And 45-70 is the same cartridge dimensions as .410 so a shotgun conversion like the .357 to .38 snakeshot.
What's the difference in pressures between .410 and .45-70 Government? I know they're both low pressure cartridges, also, .45-70 Government had a shotgun cartridge already, it used to be used by the US military. Look up the "Forager" round.
Absolutely my favorite gun in the game; it's just so damn fun to use. The fact that it's not in the meta because it takes some skill makes it even better. That said, running Focus as a perk is really what elevates the weapon. Yes, Slight of Hand is nice, but without Focus, you're going to lose basically every fight you don't end before the other guy even shoots. I also pretty much HAVE to run Scavenger with it (or at least the +6 rounds stock) because the starting ammo is so low.

Does anyone else have weird freezing for like 1 or 2 seconds when they play, I play PS4 btw, and I have to quit this game as it is incredibly range inducing, I’m a mediocre player, and every time I’m one or two kills off an ac130 this always seems to come up, and I get this like 15-20 times a game, I mainly play shoothouse and shipment, so I thought it would be because I was playing on a chaotic map, but I played realistic mosh pit rammaza, with fairly slow gameplay and I still kept getting the glitch, if anyone knows how to fix it pls tell me as I can’t find anything online
Dont know if this is related but some times on my one x it will get choppy. Gry pausing the game for a few seconds and un pause and run or open up your console menu for a second to let the game catch up. May be different issues but when that similar thing happens for me that's how I deal with it. Cheers and good luck
i like to use this with a thermal sight, a muzzle break, the 24" factory barrel and fully loaded as my perk. it was that of the first weapons i took a instant liking to and really want to unlock everything but that's on hold till i finish with the scar.
I am use to aiming high, but when people jump when coming around the corner, I am still fast enough to tag them first, but I shoot where their head or torso would have been, but end up hitting their stomach because they jumped, which means I don't get the 1 shot kill, and they hose me before I can get off my next shot. So if you see you are going up against slower RoF weapons with strict lethal hit zones, just jump, and they will likely lose their 1 hit kill. With the 725 slugs, it's 1 shot waist up, so sometimes I run that set up for quick scoping especially if the enemy is jumpy, plus I have an extra slug I can get off in case a situation like that occurs.
I just started playing with the release of Warzone and the Mk2 is my go-to weapon. It is just fun! The only thing I would like to see, as a weapon specific (with this and the .357) is a is a "Hammer Fan" perk or field upgrade. At the expense of being able to ADS, reload speed and movement speed you get the chance to unload your firearm which would help with super close quarters engagements.
I mean I’ll be honest, I own a few levers and they’re brush guns, so kinda made for the up close but of course if you want you try and take it out to some distance
How does the better aim helps a weapon that has so low range that you need to use everything for dmg range ? EBR has better handling, its faster and much better dmg range + when you have stopping power its one shot to upper chest + with ranger grip you can spam even long range. Kar 98 is basically sniper rifle and has actually good ironsights. Better aim ? I used to be global elite in CSGO and iam playing CoD since the first game came out.
I just got gold on the MK2 and I wish I started the grind a lot earlier. This thing was absolutely amazing in hardcore. It really taught me how to aim and make my shots count. My go to setup: Monolithic suppressor Cronen c480 pro optic w/ Tpose reticle Cartidge sleeve Stippled grip tape Fully loaded In ground war I'll replace the stippled grip tape with the 22" factory barrel. Good times.
I use this gun all the time it’s really good and I always pop off a 40+ kill game with it no matter the map. This gun has also helped me with my aim a lot. You always want to get those 1 shots or prey your target in dumb. Now no matter the gun I use it’s always a head shot

I believe Drifter said This gun was strictly for novelty purposes or challenging yourself. He essentially said it was the worst gun in the game. The only reason I'm bringing this up is it's so interesting how two guys that are so good at the game can have such different opinions. Which is one of the cool things about having both of these channels is we get two different opinions to hear.
Contrary to most people even though I have this gun gold I think it’s slightly overpowered especially on the small maps combined with the marksman rifles having a little aim assist so it’s basically a slug shotgun with better velocity however I don’t know what they could change to nerf it because you’re already dead usually if you miss a shot unless you’re really good at peaking back and forth around cover
Mamba it isnt overpowered at all, its just a gun with a VERY high skill cap, and in the hands of right ppl (me and u), its probably the best gun in the game
I personally prefer the Kar 98K over the rest of the Marksman Rifles because it is the most powerful and most sniper like weapon of them. Crossbow can be like a sniper with the right attachments but it is too slow.
As requested, thank you! This was my first Gold gun... Went to it when everyone was running M4/725. Oh so satisfying to drop them! Had just recently begun trying it when I went into a second storey room on Hackney, cleared three guys on three shots, two standing and one on the floor, and took the Hardpoint. Fell in love! My only difference from your first setup, stippled grip instead of laser. That's my "Old Faithful" class setup I still go to when I'm in a round that irritates me.

I think this gun is op in shoot house. I usually use only attachments that increase aim down sight speed. And there is only 3 off them. And then weapon perk and iron sight

I went through absolute hell to get this one gold. Never using it again, but i can understand why people like it. It really is a hate it /love it kinda gun.
I just wish it had a larger magazine capacity. And I wish it could one shot to the stomach (excluding the arms). Who cares about range buff attachments when you can get a hitmarker at point blank range for shooting the guy in the guts...
That gun is annoying to go against, literally I was clapping kids every time I got on, then one day everyone started using this thing and they're running around like it's a fucking shotgun, but still able to 1 hit those slightly longer engagements a shotgun wouldnt work.
I really appreciate videos like this, but if its possible I wish xclusive ace can test the guns on PC with a higher frame rate like around 150, and record the footage at higher frame rates so the results would be more accurate.
Since he left off the obvious quickscope setup. MK2 + all ADS (stock, tac, & grip) + 24" barrel + sniper scope and no perk. Some people use the variable zoom but I love the sniper scope (with the One Breath aka red dot reticle). Also, the sniper scope matches the platinum camo perfectly (I use it with the Ending Misery variant).
The .45-70 packs such a punch, it's an insane cartridge for brush - which may be irrelevant in my arguement - but because of this, it carries so much force that the higher velocity cartridges would absolutely obliterate anybody at medium to long ranges. The 300 grain Jacketed HP travels at 2,275 ft/s, which packs 3,449 foot pounds of force. To compare, the 5.56x45mm 55 grain XM193 FMJ-BT traveling at 3,260 ft/s produces 1,294 foot pounds of energy. (Source: Wikipedia) Now it's true, what matters most is velocity. That's why ballistically the 9x19mm is a more effective cartridge than the .45ACP. (Which is why law enforcement agencies prefer the 9x19mm over the .45ACP.) In this case, though, I think the energy produced by the .45-70 combined with the weight of the bullet is so much more substantial than the 5.56x45mm that the slight reduction in velocity really doesn't matter. In other words, they should REALLY buff the range. Adjust the ADS and Sprintout times if they need to, but seriously, buff the range.

Anyone who wants this gun to be godly? Here is the best setup Stippled Grip Tape Tac Laser MK2 Sport Comb Sniper Scope ( i like it) And whatever you want like a barrel if you use the longest barrel the ads speed is still pretty quick I recommend 20 or 18 or a compensator
Since the scope slows down the ads time in codm it's much preferred for me to use 18.0 forged barrel sport stock reddot sight stippled sight and sleight of hand

Why didn’t you mention the reload cancel ability with Sleight of Hand? It can be really useful for quick shots.

Yeah I also feel the same way, I only wish it was a little bit more consistent but it’s good as it is.
All the Marksman/Snipers need a big buff, ever other gun type can do way better as always but in this game the imbalance is just sad.

I never aimed so good with a sniper-like weapon! This thing makes it so easy to get one shot one kill!

i like to use this with a thermal sight, a muzzle break, the 24" factory barrel and fully loaded as my perk. it was that of the first weapons i took a instant liking to and really want to unlock everything but that's on hold till i finish with the scar.

I am use to aiming high, but when people jump when coming around the corner, I am still fast enough to tag them first, but I shoot where their head or torso would have been, but end up hitting their stomach because they jumped, which means I don't get the 1 shot kill, and they hose me before I can get off my next shot. So if you see you are going up against slower RoF weapons with strict lethal hit zones, just jump, and they will likely lose their 1 hit kill. With the 725 slugs, it's 1 shot waist up, so sometimes I run that set up for quick scoping especially if the enemy is jumpy, plus I have an extra slug I can get off in case a situation like that occurs.

This gun and the Kar are overpowered. They're stupid easy to use and have 0 TTK as most ranges on regular maps.
Kar98 takes A LOT of skill. I have used some times and it is very fun but it has a high skill cap ( unlike other guns *cough* mp5 *cough* *cough)

They should buff the lower torso damage. This caliber has been used to hunt elephants.
I just started playing with the release of Warzone and the Mk2 is my go-to weapon. It is just fun!
The only thing I would like to see, as a weapon specific (with this and the .357) is a is a "Hammer Fan" perk or field upgrade. At the expense of being able to ADS, reload speed and movement speed you get the chance to unload your firearm which would help with super close quarters engagements.

I mean I’ll be honest, I own a few levers and they’re brush guns, so kinda made for the up close but of course if you want you try and take it out to some distance

Worst Marksman rifle, EBR 14 can be spammed, Kar is more deadly. The only worse is Dragunov.

Have you tried getting better aim, it helps when using this gun.
How does the better aim helps a weapon that has so low range that you need to use everything for dmg range ? EBR has better handling, its faster and much better dmg range + when you have stopping power its one shot to upper chest + with ranger grip you can spam even long range.
Kar 98 is basically sniper rifle and has actually good ironsights.

I just got gold on the MK2 and I wish I started the grind a lot earlier.
This thing was absolutely amazing in hardcore. It really taught me how to aim and make my shots count.

Cronen c480 pro optic w/ Tpose reticle
Cartidge sleeve
Stippled grip tape
Fully loaded
In ground war I'll replace the stippled grip tape with the 22" factory barrel. Good times.
I use this gun all the time it’s really good and I always pop off a 40+ kill game with it no matter the map. This gun has also helped me with my aim a lot. You always want to get those 1 shots or prey your target in dumb. Now no matter the gun I use it’s always a head shot
Please do the kar98. I really want to see if it's 1hk area is bigger than the mk2 or if I'm suggesting from some sort of placebo effect.

I believe Drifter said This gun was strictly for novelty purposes or challenging yourself. He essentially said it was the worst gun in the game. The only reason I'm bringing this up is it's so interesting how two guys that are so good at the game can have such different opinions. Which is one of the cool things about having both of these channels is we get two different opinions to hear.

Contrary to most people even though I have this gun gold I think it’s slightly overpowered especially on the small maps combined with the marksman rifles having a little aim assist so it’s basically a slug shotgun with better velocity however I don’t know what they could change to nerf it because you’re already dead usually if you miss a shot unless you’re really good at peaking back and forth around cover
Mamba it isnt overpowered at all, its just a gun with a VERY high skill cap, and in the hands of right ppl (me and u), its probably the best gun in the game
I personally prefer the Kar 98K over the rest of the Marksman Rifles because it is the most powerful and most sniper like weapon of them. Crossbow can be like a sniper with the right attachments but it is too slow.
This gun is about the most annoying thing to go against next to the MP5
So they nerfed m4 and mp5 and crossbow while buffing m13. They just made crossbow even more useless lmao

As requested, thank you! This was my first Gold gun... Went to it when everyone was running M4/725. Oh so satisfying to drop them! Had just recently begun trying it when I went into a second storey room on Hackney, cleared three guys on three shots, two standing and one on the floor, and took the Hardpoint. Fell in love! My only difference from your first setup, stippled grip instead of laser. That's my "Old Faithful" class setup I still go to when I'm in a round that irritates me.

I have a love hate relationship with this gun.
I love it to death and when it’s on its on.
But I feel there are too many times where I get hit markers that don’t make any sense at all lol
And I play hardcore only and yes I’m not a mile away sniping lol I’m very aggressive

I think this gun is op in shoot house. I usually use only attachments that increase aim down sight speed. And there is only 3 off them. And then weapon perk and iron sight

I just wish it had a larger magazine capacity. And I wish it could one shot to the stomach (excluding the arms). Who cares about range buff attachments when you can get a hitmarker at point blank range for shooting the guy in the guts...
That gun is annoying to go against, literally I was clapping kids every time I got on, then one day everyone started using this thing and they're running around like it's a fucking shotgun, but still able to 1 hit those slightly longer engagements a shotgun wouldnt work.
It definitely really benefited from the flinch reduction buff a patch or two ago. Before that it was so frustrating even with focus
I really appreciate videos like this, but if its possible I wish xclusive ace can test the guns on PC with a higher frame rate like around 150, and record the footage at higher frame rates so the results would be more accurate.
Since he left off the obvious quickscope setup. MK2 + all ADS (stock, tac, & grip) + 24" barrel + sniper scope and no perk. Some people use the variable zoom but I love the sniper scope (with the One Breath aka red dot reticle). Also, the sniper scope matches the platinum camo perfectly (I use it with the Ending Misery variant).
The only government I trust is the 45-70 government.

The .45-70 packs such a punch, it's an insane cartridge for brush - which may be irrelevant in my arguement - but because of this, it carries so much force that the higher velocity cartridges would absolutely obliterate anybody at medium to long ranges. The 300 grain Jacketed HP travels at 2,275 ft/s, which packs 3,449 foot pounds of force. To compare, the 5.56x45mm 55 grain XM193 FMJ-BT traveling at 3,260 ft/s produces 1,294 foot pounds of energy. Now it's true, what matters most is velocity. That's why ballistically the 9x19mm is a more effective cartridge than the .45ACP. (Which is why law enforcement agencies prefer the 9x19mm over the .45ACP.) In this case, though, I think the energy produced by the .45-70 combined with the weight of the bullet is so much more substantial than the 5.56x45mm that the slight reduction in velocity really doesn't matter.
In other words, they should REALLY buff the range. Adjust the ADS and Sprintout times if they need to, but seriously, buff the range.

Bruh this is my favorite gun it absolutely MELTS. Just make sure you have focus cause it'll kill people while their shooting you all the time. I'm sure it pisses off a lot of SMG users. Short range, mid range, long rang(core). I stay picking people's head off 50M away and absolutely cramming their chest in at 10M.
