- Canadian quarterback Tre Ford threw for 317 yards, a touchdown and ran one in himself as the Edmonton Elks ended a massive drought and finally got a win at home, defeating the Ottawa Redblacks on Sunday. The Elks snapped an horrific 22-game losing streak at home, the longest in North American professional sports history.
For as much as I've belittled this team, I'm very happy to see this. Hope they go on a run.

Ford should have been the starting QB in game 3 or game 4. The person responsible for keeping him from starting for so many extra weeks has to be fired. What a playmaker. The next game against the Stamps on Labour Day will be tough. Go Elks

They'll play Stampeders in back-to-back... two wins and Elks will be fourth in the West behind Roughriders.

The elks actually have a decent team, now they have a good reason to believe in themselves that they CAN beat other teams.
Thank you for uploading this game and all CFL games, especially in 720p. Even though my RedBlacks totally suck, I will probably watch it later. We need to fire Khari Jones and hire someone like Marcel Bellefeuille or Tommy Condell who actually know how to call exciting plays, and who know that successful teams have balanced attacks with a proper running game. I thought a former CFL quarterback would know that by now!! Maybe when the attendance at home games plummets after Labour Day, our GM will get the message that we don't want another 40 years of losing football in Ottawa.

@@lucastbevan Whats exhausting is living in a country which politicizes everything. I just want to watch a football game and not be reminded that I'm a racist. I go to an Edmonton Oilers game and I have to watch the players wear rainbows uniforms during warmup. I watch late night talk shows and all they do is joke about Trump. I can't watch SNL anymore because the show has become so politically correct that it isn't funny anymore. I can't send my kids to school without hearing about how they are trying to teach children gender theory. Some people say we need to accept the name change and move on, but I refuse to do this. I'm tired of all this woke shit and political correctness. If you've chosen to still support the team then that's your choice.... but in doing so your allowing woke culture to win. If my post annoys you because you just want to focus on football instead of politics then I could care less....
