The fact that rattler played a near perfect game really makes me feel bad for him, you can tell he’s improved to much but unfortunately it’ll be just like last year cuz of this terrible o line, as a diehard gamecock fan it’s really hard sometimes

Being a South Carolina Football fan is truly a Time Machine experience. Every game is a trip back to the days of Dietzel , Carlen , Bell, morrison, woods,Holtz, Scott, Spurrier, Muschamp. And now beamer…And not necessarily in that order and not necessarily a good thing…Don’t be shocked if the Furman game goes down to the wire or they beat SC… But they do have a great light show at Williams Brice Stadium….
Technical comment: the audio and video aren't sync'd. I hear the end of play whistles about a second and a half before I see the end of play. Would be nice if this were edited properly before being posted, but still enjoyable to watch. Thanks.

Im still a Gamecock, but great win for the Tarheels. Having a National Championship winning SEC Coach as your DC showed in this game....My Gamecocks will be fine as they make improvements on that O-line and fine a rhythm at RB.

UNC fan here, I was at the game. I was sitting in a section surrounded by USC fans. Can’t tell you how many USC fans came up to me before and during the game to talk trash. Incessantly. I just ignored it. I’m there to enjoy a football game not start a pissing contest.
But the look on the faces of those USC fans as the game went on …. 😂😂😂

Tar Heels looking like they may have the best team in the past 10-20yrs at UNC this year.Could be wrong for sure. Mistakes where made, but being from NC this is nice to watch on BOTH sides of the ball. TFL's and Sacks.

I tried to tell anyone who would listen the Gamecocks have issues on defense. But after tonight, they have issues on defense, o-line, and have ZERO running game. It's only week 1 but Beamer has some work to do.

@@Tuskegeeflyboi the OC was considered a "big time hire" according to the fan base. Personally I don't know much about the guy so I don't have the room to make an opinion on the hire, but if that's a sign of things to come, it's a lot more than issues with the OC.

oh my this is just one game but like they said about Deon at Colorado, they're already better on defense than last year, talk about a pass rush that was nonexistent last year. I also loved the 11 on 13 TD run.

Timing on the audio is so horribly off on pretty much all the highlights so far. How does that get overlooked so many times?
Love the aggressiveness on the defense. Nine sacks baby. Finally soft-spoken Gene Chi is making his 4 star defensive players listen to him My concern is the defense being consistent thirteen more games. Gainer the transfer from FSU is fast off the edge. Atkinson is also fast of the edge. If Gene wants to amp the pressure, Gainer and Atkinson needs to start every game.

Nah sc just looked that bad compared to previous years. Our young offensive line made so many mistakes and then losing some key players to the portal and not gaining any better ones didn't help. Definitely not the team from last yr but hopefully they improve. It's good to see some acc teams finally try to dethrone Clemson though. 😂
