i don't have a favorite Oakley frame so i can't tell you....what i can tell you is i bought prescription oakley's from len's crafters a few years ago and the frames have different size nose bridge pieces. The one i initially got had small piece and i brought it back to lens crafters to get them changed to the large one...and the sales rep that changed them broke the fucking tab off one side of the piece and didn't tell me. So i find out freaken months later that the bridge piece is sitting in the frame with only one side securely attached while the other side is holding on with just some friction. So that sales rep is a piece of shit and second, if oakley makes those pieces to be so fragile that they break off when replacing them, then maybe they need to go back to the drawing board. No wonder she wanted me to buy warranty on it.
The frame that i have is similar to the black and blue ones at 3:36 but they don't have removable stems or whatever they're called.
What would you recommend airdrop 55 or 57?

I love my carbon plate. The fit is so nice. I wish Oakley releases prescription glasses that is shaped like an Aviator or Colonel. And hopefully have a 0.5 or rimless version. Ovesized glasses are really in right now.

Hi!!, which Oakley frame would you choose between Crosslink Zero or Fit?
I like the Crosslink's. I have two sets. The only thing, is the temple arm hooks have all cracked and broken at some point rendering the arms useless, so new ones are required...and they ain't cheap! Also, the rubber on the temple arms tend to 'react' with certain types of sun cream and eventually the rubber becomes sticky, breaks down and stretches.I also have the Crosslink Pro RX OX3127-0753 in brushed Aluminium that are similar in shape, although far superior in terms of strength and durability on the temple arm attachment. I've sat on them I don't know how many times and they just go 'ouch!' but have never broken. Just wish the frames were available in different colours.

Talking Oakley frames, My at home / some days glasses are the current square wire (brown transitions) . They’re nice looking, wide enough for my head and not so tall that they bump my cheeks. I also have the Gauge 8 which I recently got redone with the lightest lenses you offer (plus day and night recipe) and that really made a comfort difference. I think the weight now is about the same as the square wire which are quite smaller. I wish they were made from titanium so they could be even lighter.
I prefer sunglasses frames as my prescription glasses since they typically offer a wider field of view thanks to the bigger lenses and wrap . Typical eyeglasses design are just for looking straight ahead with poor peripheral vision and rarely they come with any grip.
Since I came to know you , I’ve acquired a respectable mini collection of prescription sunglasses. I expect to review them sometime in the future.

Has anyone successfully filled the Crosslink with a prescription that has a "prism" accommodation? Because I have that need, I cannot wear a full wrap-type frame, the optician will not fill it. The Crosslink has a mild wrap, and I am hoping it can be filled.

Hey Tor! I great way to determine one's size requirement is to measure the width your current glasses from inside the left temple to the right. This is how we determine SFW (SportRx Frame Width). Compare the number (in mm's) to the SFW of the Holbrook regular and XL to find what size will work best for you!

Howdy.. did you pay full price? Use an online coupon? Oakley does provide them.. I like the Tie bar 0.5. Like to get the invisible bifocals and transition in a light smoke gray.. sweet pair!

I used the crosslink for 2 years. I just picked up the metal plate with transitional lenses for everyday use. And the Fuel Cell Sunglasses with a black prizm lense. I’m really considering getting the Holbrooks RX. (I’m from California. 😂😂)

Marshal is my first ever Oakley glasses, and that's when I became a fan of Oakley, but one thing abt is after a long time wearing, I wore like 2 years, my bone behind my ears Is concave cuz of the tightness of the legs. The good thing is the legs are adjustable. Still love Oakley

I have my Crosslink since 2014 and it’s awesome. My issue is I just can’t get new earsocks from Oakley’s website or stores to replace my old ones. I settled for fake earsocks but they feel different..

Great frame! Unfortunately it's been discontinued by the manufacturer but you can still find a few models out there. Amazing frame retention with an approachable look & style that works in the office as well as the gym!

In 2019 of course it was flight jacket white with prism sappfire, then field jacket white too with ruby lenses. Then it was wind jacket 2.0. With prism trail lenses :::))) and for the end of the year it was radar ev - this wonderful glasses grey ink and prizm black road lenses.
And very like Clifden (prizm tungsten polarized) but I don't know how to get it. As well as old school eyeshades 2014 SE.

Does Oakley hinges clip back on
I just ordered airdrops from my local eye store but I'm not sure if they had the mnp thing. Are those more comfortable? Should I call and make sure I get it don't get those? Also do they all come with different colored icons? Last question is can the arms be bent around your ears on both the mnp and non mnp's? I seen a video where they showed the arms could be bent if they aren't comfortable straight.

Do the holbrooks have O-matter on the holbrooks? I like them but I really don’t want to worry about glasses sliding down my nose. Especially when I get sweaty or oily skin and pushing them up all the time.
Sounds like the Crosslink series may be a better option for you since they are designed for sport use.
Do many customers have issues with prescription safety Rx in the Crosslink because of the wrap having slightly more convex lenses that traditional flatter Rx progressive lenses?
Hi Jeff! Great question. We cannot actually make 'ANSI rated' lenses for the crosslink since the frame itself is not safety rated. However, the rx tolerance of the frame itself depends on what type of rx you have. Was hoping for some advice - Need a Rx Glasses suitable for work. I look down alot and as my hands/scrubbed are sterilised so I can't touch my glasses). So basically I need a really nice fitting glasses that won't slip. I was wondering what you'd recommend? I was thinking Crosslink MNP as I have a flat and narrow nose? Just wondering how tight/sung the wrap is? If its anything like my old oakley radarlock then I might be okay!

Let's hope the clifden and Deadbolt is the beginning of bringing back old school oakley innovation . I dropped 2 grand on the clifden limited. If its unique they get my money . If the clifden was titanium I woulda spent more. I collect and I wear. An I hate basic ass lookin sunglasses. Highly satisfied with the clifden 8) an how people react to it. I throw on my old school trench coat an I look like a str8 up time traveler.
