Muchas gracias buen video , tengo el problema que tarda en encender y según algunos dicen que es por la bomba de combustible y el video que hicistes está genial 👍
Ok, the backseat uninstall was the part i was most unsure about and that looks easy enough. Gonna try it on a 2016 CX-5 this week & see if the tank access cover looks the same! Thx dude
Could we check the fuel line going to injection by loosening its nut. If there is no fuel coming out, it may be due to defective fuel pump. It couls be done by starting up the engine.
Gracias por tu vídeo Felix, solamente una pregunta... El seguro de color verde que agarra la manguera de arriba, viene con la bomba nueva del link o tu se la pusiste de la anterior, gracias y bendiciones
Late reply, but for anyone else wondering the fuel filter is located inside the fuel pump assembly. You can replace it by disassembling the fuel pump, but it makes more sense just to replace the entire unit.
I really hope you cleaned off the bottom of that new fuel pump before placing it back into your fuel tank. The dirt from sitting that new fuel pump on the ground would just transfer right into the fuel tank. Next time sit the fuel pump on a clean rag or another clean surface, instead of putting it on a dirty ground.
Omg you were right. I just went back and seen the video. 🤦🏻♂️. Hopefully nothing goes wrong hahahaha, thanks for letting me know. I will be more careful next time. 😊
I've been looking for this information, since the Owner's Manual indicates that fuel filter must be replaced every 40K kms and the filter is located inside the Fuel Pump Assembly, it's very difficult to reach and it have a lot of plastic clips that easily could be broken and then the pump will not be useful anymore, but for your reference it's the same system used on the Outlander, ASX, Lancer and Evo, so this video could be helpful --> ua-cam.com/video/wyrqdp6H6-E/v-deo.html Lucky enough this pump is not so expensive and replaced the whole unit is fiarly easy.
Hi Felix, I have a 2011 Mazda CX-7, it's been misfiring on cylinder one (P0301). I have tried everything to figure out the problem, but it just keeps coming back. I've replaced all 4 coils, all 4 spark plugs, cleaned the intake valves, but the rough idle and hesitation just keeps coming back. My mechanic said something about a high pressure fuel pump, and it doesn't look like the one in this video. Do you have any suggestions?
I do have the same issue on my mazda 3 2016. Started with P0304, misfire in cylinder 4. I changed spark plugs and no more engine light but there is no power in the vehicle now. Rpm needle dances while driving. And on uphill, it feels like car is struggling a lot to climb. Have any idea guys? May be a high pressure fuel pump or injectors?? Please advise. Tnank you.
I wonder if this is the problem I have with mine it’ll run for a few seconds and then die ! Does anyone have any info similar problems ? I’m going to give it a try !
So simple to do my mother-in-law watched the video and did it herself thanks Felix

Do they have a gas filter also or just a pump? We have a mazda cx7 2009 and cant located the gas filter dont know if it even has one?

Hi, you had a link to buy the pump, I don’t see that anymore. Can you please provide where from you bought your fuel pump for cx7

My gas is going out fast could this be the reason?
Hi Felix. Is there a fuel filter that I can change

It might also be a problem with the computer not sending signal to your coil
I had the same problem it turned out to be a injector hopes this helps
Had the same problem and my mechanic fixed it. Just the injector probably

The problem has since gone away.. My theory is that there was maybe some carbon build up on the valves from sitting. Cleaned up from driving.

Is this the 2.3L or doesn't it matter?
This Is The 2.5L But It’s The Same Thing For The 2.3L.
If only the turbo was as convenient to change on the CX7
My gasket is leaking now ! 😢
