I do love musks and ambers so we are in accord there, plus you seem very knowledgable so I feel like I am learning. I can't wait for part 3!

I think I'm one of the only people that doesn't like Wood, Sage, and Sea Salt. Sage and wood smoke are the 2 notes that never work for me, at least not yet.
The Guerlain art of materials (and elixir charnel) bottles are beautiful. They have a unique look, like bottles of booze. Wonder why they're changing them?

Did I miss some of your hauls...didn't realize you picked up Iris Torrefie and Rose Barbare 🤑I've been enjoying Iris Torrefie, too bad it never got a lot of hype from fragcomm...I think it should get more credit, it smells exactly as its olfactive description. Glad to see the current ones staying in the Art of Materials collection.

someone on the fb group femme fragheads shared a premature post from the French Guerlain site a couple of weeks ago. They listed all the frags that are being put in the new bottles and most of the art and materials were included as well as 2 new ones. NO mention of the gourmand coquin or anything from the other two exclusive lines (Elixer charnels and the bee bottles/les parrisiennes?).
@@Olfactofiles ppl are spending insane amounts on these frags right now. The prices will go even higher as time goes by if they discontinue all of those frags at the same time...I think it is totally bizarre to do that all at the same time. I wish they would do some kind of press release. Even the SA's at the big stores (Vegas) don't have the answers.

Thanks so much! I like to give them the credit they deserve since it's really them and not the brands that bring the fragrances to life. I do my best with pronunciation but sometimes it's hard to find video/audio of how some of their names are pronounced (especially for ones that don't have many creations).
The Guerlain bottles are going to be released in 100ml and the prices are being increased, I like the old bottles and did not want to take chances about reformulation as well. I purchased my back up from Mercari.

@@aquababy5 Hi, I am afraid I heard new updated information from Sebastian from smelling great channel where he discussed new Guerlain collection with pictures of new bottles and apparently it’s not there🙁. I also heard it might be just made very exclisifs and just be sold in Guerlain boutiques, so who knows. Also Claire from smurphy girly did video on this new collection, so you might want to check that out.

About guerlain- yes, they are repackaging some of their collections, but when released, they will cost cost almost double of their original price 😕

Yeah, that's what I heard regarding the size as well. I guess if 75ml was $260 then 100ml will likely be in that $300+ range.
