@@le_Lilyon I'm watching with normal speed because I want to spend more time to look at these beautiful bottles in reality (not the fancy picture on internet). Also, I'm enjoy her voice & the way she talk about the fragrances 🥳😍
L'Orchestre Parfums now have a U.S. website and they're also sold at Bloomingdale's...yay! So many in this group I'd love to try. Loved the video, Tara.
So many perfumes, stunned!🤩 And everything seems small.🤣 I learned a lot of new things. Arabesque Merchant of Venice is my favorite fragrance, I also love My pearls :) I also love perfumery and luxury and niche. There is no end and edge to all this and I still want more!❤️
Tara! They now have piano Santal at Bloomingdales! 😊 I just got it yesterday. I was waiting for it to come to the U.S. for a while now. Love your collection btw! ❤️😃
It's the GOAT 🤭 The constantly changing Changing Constance. For me, the upcoming autumn is definitely the time for much of the Portraits collection. And somebody's GOT to have a homemade hack for that Angel stand. Anybody??
Can you please consider doing a video about your favorite tobacco fragrances? I am interested in dipping my toes into the tobacco fragrance pool but I'm a little intimidated...I sampled MAC Velvet Teddy and it was SO strong that I found it quite overwhelming. I know you are a fan of tobacco in fragrances and I would love to see a dedicated video, especially with fall right around the corner. Thanks Tara!
I was waiting for P - Prada! I just got my hands on Prada Mirages Babylon (Sandalwood) and it is beautiful!!! And I got it for a great deal. Just purchased Prada Olfactories Day for Night (should be delivered this week).
Hi Tara, I see you showing us SO many fragrances that I'm not familiar with, that I still feel like a fragrance novice! It's exciting to be introduced to these new to me ones and thanks for showing. I love your elephant necklace. Can you share where you got it???? Thanks! Karen
Thank you, Karen! I got it many years ago from a website that is no longer in business unfortunately. I love it so much (elephants are my favorite animal... besides my dogs and cat of course).
oh, I've got the OK Fine Vanilla Bourbon too (I think we talked about this before...Moody Boo reference), but I also want the Vanilla Rum Batch 103! I'm thinking I may ask for it as a gift for the holidays.... Iris Shot is on my list too! I just wish it lasted longer on my skin.
Omg finally. Been waiting for this one! My fav brands in this section lol. Question is do I watch this now before running to an appt or later tonight with a glass of wine. That ‘tis the question...
BTF & Jazz Club are the only 2 Full size bottles I own from MMM. I love both equally! I see Fragrantica does have this as "For men" but they screw up so much. All of the Replica line is unisex. I could def see a man wearing this, but VERY suitable for us ladies!
Lancome Lavandes is in stock on fragrance buy currently. I actually picked up a back up bottle last week from there for a good price. It’s not my all time favorite lavender scent but it’s up there for sure, something about it is very comforting and I figure if I don’t end up using the back up bottle, I’ll hold on to it and someday it will probably be worth way more because people are already selling them for SO much lol my favorite from that line is roses berberbanza. Need a backup bottle of that too. Arabesque from merchant of Venice is really good! I also think it’s better than TF. I actually tracked a bottle down because of your review on it once. Great fall/winter scent.
I’m so happy I got Lavandes from FragranceBuy! My fav lavender scents are: Lavandes, libre intense, and mon Guerlain. Tara, which lavender scents are equally as good as Lavandes?
I love a good declutter even though I can’t part with any of my fragrances! 😓 I got into M. Micallef because you raved about Note Vanillee. I purchased many of their other fragrances because I enjoyed Note Vanillee so much! Is there a specific reason that you no longer purchase from the house?
@@sibyl999 I had a sample of Ylang in Gold and did not work with my body chemistry. I have tried Rouge #2. Is it similar to any other fragrance? I do have Ananda, Watch, Gardenia and Printemps.
@@Olfactofiles yeah i saw there website everything was in euros i emailed them to see if they shipped over here but they never responded.ill give it another go.thank you.😁
Did you declutter the Ormonde Jayne and Paco Rabanne before you posted the video? I see them in your list but not in the video. Will I not know the answer until part 5? 😀
Hurro. Now, wouldn't you assume it would be sage, economically sound advice to advise people who are searching for new fragrances to fall in love with to simply identify ingredients (or combinations of notes) which they find unpleasant and ensure to avoid them when trying samples? Nope, gosh darn it! It's infuriating; fragrances which on paper SOUND like concoctions I'd wrinkle my nose at, end up being the most delightfully moreish, delicious things I've ever smelled. I am no closer today to knowing how to find what I like because of this confounding, astonishing reality. I mean, the description of E Coudray's 'Jacinthe et Rose' reads like olfactory kryptonite to me and yet it's the most glorious, wearable, happy surprise I've put my nostrils to for YEARS. I shock myself because that 'sort' of fragrance isn't normally my cup of tea at all. This one makes sense just because it smells CLEAN and is a terrifically harmonious blend of notes. It just smells like what you want to smell like when you're on holiday: freshly showered and ready to walk out into the streets of Venice, St Paul de Vence or Capri. I also find plum to sound better than it smells (on my skin, anyway) and yet along comes Plum Japonais. Peach is a no-no and yet...Roja Dove's 'Enigma Parfum' and Byredo's 'Bibliotheque' candle-- gorgeous. Oh my god: lavender and woods normally makes me want to be sick and I THINK I don't like the lavender note; Frederic Malle's 'Music For a While' and Xerjoff's 'Alexandria II' both induce nausea. And then I go and discover that a very clean form of lavender is in the outrageously delicious, addictive 'Mr Bojnokoff's Purple Hat' by Fort and Manle. I may never have discovered one of my favourites if I'd strictly avoided it based on ingredient pyramid notes. Dude, I pay no attention to fragrance descriptions anymore and just throw caution to the wind trying samples of everything. My greatest delights come after my greatest gambles. I'd love to know if anybody else knows what I'm talking about, in terms of THINKING they know what they dislike only to be startled by a fragrance that contains the worrying combination of notes and is utterly divine.
They had some marketing campaigns that were featuring a white model painted black. When people got upset they took them down but briefly put up a post saying "chill, it's just art." They took those down shortly after as well but it put me off the brand ever since.
